My daughters Mini Countryman (2012) intermittently shows the 'car on the service lift icon' on start- up, with a very small warning triangle near the odometer reading. It doesn't seem to make any difference if this function has been reset or not. Do you know of any way to find out what it's trying to tell us? The handbook is very poor in this area. I wouldnt drive 18000 miles before changing oil.I change oil between 5000 to 6000 miles to maintain engine health.

Hi, What are the two arrow lights ( triangles ) for? Mine keep changing to 2,3,5? never use to do this until yesterday after olil service?
