I am still debating on the Turbosmart Kompact BOV or the GFB DVX diverter valve. I just want one that holds boost well and is loud for my 2015 Kia Forte5 SX
I didnt need to adjust mine. Some people say that it needs to be stiffened, others say its fine, so i assume its luck of the draw to an extent. No CEL or boost issues and ive had it on the car for a while now.
it's the blowoff valve that makes it better. I changed my air intake on my 1.6t and doesn't make a huge difference. Just change the blowoff valve if you want it to scream like this !
@@vt_menace9198 I believe they only make 1 intake. Different sites could have it labeled differently. Just make sure that it is for your vehicle. Turbo and non turbo use Different intakes. I recommend going to SoCalGarageworks website and buying from there. They may even have sales going on rn.

Dylan Jason I have a res delete, muffler delete, Injen cold air intake and I’m looking intona BOV . Did you delete the primary cat? I want to delete one but don’t want it toooo loud. And If your not in sport is it still loud like if you were to see a cop?
chase pineda Yes. It’ll depend on what exhaust system you have on as well. For me, it’s not the noise that’s the issue. It’s the smell of fumes, which is pretty strong especially when you’re idoling with the windows up
When driving do you hear the suction 24/7 while acceleration. I hear mine no matter what all the time sound like suction cyclone

I have a 2016 vt with the same set up just different brands. I Jen and hks. Is this safe for the motor. Just installed today
Watching alot of Intake vidoes before I purchase one and this by far sounds the best, where can I get one

I have a 2019 turbo Veloster and I have a bov but I can’t seem to make that pshhhh noise in park . Only when I’m driving
How did you mount your BOV in that position? Did you have to fabricate something to achieve that mount?
Nope. That is the stock BOV location. Turbosmart is a direct swap.
Did you tune your car after these mods ? Any air fuel problems?
No tune. Never had any issues with the intake or BOV installed. No CEL or anything.

i dont, its a K&N typhoon intske. google it, should pop up pretty easily.

Too Gq For You definitely makes a difference in person. Sounds similar to a lot of subarus with aftermarked BOVs
It sounds good naturally as well with just the Cold Air Intake...

I just installed a bov and it barley works. Gonna take it back out and reinstall. Have no clue what I fucked up. Was really easy to install
