As the past owner of a 03 Terminator your friend made absolutely 1000% the right choice. It's beautiful. I wish I still had mine . I'll settle for my Palm Beach dyno CX1100 2020 gt 500 1080 to the rears . He definitely did the right thing .
Ngl.. I like the Cobra guys thinking. 👍🏾 If we all felt latest tech and cushy seats were the way forward, we'd all be driving plaids. Nah fam, couldn't be me.
Can’t be mad at my boy, he like what he like. At this point it’s not about what car is better it’s whatever make you smile more at the end of the day🙏🏾 & dont get it messed up them termi’s move out with the right setup😂
He’s not a true car guy so he doesn’t get it. He just spends a bunch of money and goes playing. It’s the reason he keeps building spending a bunch of money to build uncompetitive drag cars.
I guess you don't know unless you know Mod. I own an 03 Cobra, a 15 Hellcat and now a 12 GT-R. There's no better sounding car than the HC! No better handling and raw power than the Cobta. But there is NO performance like GT-R! Unfortunately, I would get rid of my HC before the Cobra as well, and not all performance related- primarily safety (theft). Looking forward to seeing you on the track in 2025! Happy holidays and blessings to you, brother!
Older cars are better cars than new ones based on looks and driving experiences. New cars maybe faster but numb the driving experience with all the tech and extra weight
I like that dude chose the mustang!! Now bruh u gotta chill Talking bout am not happy with that pass can't start in 3rd, wasn't my best run. Dude that moper fast asf boi!! 😂😂
Some people don't want fat over weight high tech cars. So people want drivers car. They want complete control. The want analog experience in their car.
He’s got it right. I’m a MOPAR guy. I drive a 2019 Charger R/T. The technology makes me skeptical how well it will hold up over time. Like what if my screen goes out in 40 years? Will I be able to find a replacement screen then?
People sleep on those Terminators. Its not just a supercharged New Edge. Ford did some crazy shit with the internals as well so it takes to mods and power additives pretty damn good. You could probably reliably make about 700-800hp on the stock block and trans.
Dude never watched, great video, I was rooting for ya cause I know she can be firmly in the 170s but, you put it back on the trailer in one piece that's a great day bro👊
I'm a 2023 manual R/T owner who is torn between modding that car, or trading it in for a manual hellcat. problem is i can only find 2016-2018 hellcats with a manual where I live, so I'd have to get an older car. Am I tripping thinking about reliability, when Im planning on adding horsepower with mods anyways? Is a 2017 hellcat a better choice than modding a 2023 R/T for a guy who wants to go to the track? will also be my daily driver
Nice pass I am so debating on a 3.0 Whipple or your turbo set up Whipple is ideal for drag racing but I love my 1/2 mile events You should run the car in a 1/2 mile I bet it will hit deep 180s 🚀
That all Depends . Btw that Cobra is 20 plus years old . Are you serious ?? The fact that you saying that makes the Hellcat look bad and the Cobra look more impressive 🤷🏽♂️
@@DHeagleBBQnah that’s not an excuse just look at the 17 year old c6z. With heads cam they can still gap all types of modded newer cars. The cobra is cool but to be fast it needs a fully built. If you wanted to be really fast you would just get a new edge then coyote or LS swap and boost it.
i feel buddy at 8:27 he wanted something he felt stood out and unique... much respect

Wow

The new edge cobra was slept on especially on power they learned that the cobra was closer to 630 with a proper tune and a few bolt ons
I'm with the guy, I like no technology. Just raw power and less weight
When I seen the slicks I knew you meant business 💯❤️💪🏾
Can’t be mad at my boy, he like what he like. At this point it’s not about what car is better it’s whatever make you smile more at the end of the day🙏🏾 & dont get it messed up them termi’s move out with the right setup😂
The guy with the Cobra understands power to weight ratio. Doesn’t matter how comfy/techy mopar is, it’s a heavy turtle compared to the competition.

Dang Stephan, that blue sapphire Infiniti is killing it!
Whether or not its stick or auto the older generation of cars give you that raw driving experience that newer cars cant replicate.
Thst terminator cobra was DEFINITELY the right move! That red pops too!
no technology , no problem . american muscle thats the way loving it.
Man keep doing your thing that’s definitely not your average hellcat of course that car is moving you keep breaking boundaries I love it 💯💯💪🏽💪🏽

Hey, I have a stick shift Hellcat lol 16GoManGo, nice runs!!
The guy who doesn’t answer phone calls looked like he didn’t want anything to do with you bro.
I saw this video pop up and I clicked it so fast. I prefer the older with zero technology. Which is why I have a 92 240sx and a 88 300z both modded.
I respect it.
He's BACK !!!
Nice Cobra!
This dude compared the cobra with 300-400 added power, to a hellcat with 40 extra hp??? 750??? 😂
They make 600 HP plus crank also 3300lbs even if he's 200HP shy a dead even race
Awesome video, that camaro POV was sick! Next time please buckle up tho🙏🏾
Nice to see you back outside!
But what happened to the front lip on the hellcat?
Where did you get your transmission build ? Have a 6spd hellcat and looking to push 1000+ power.
Search mod2fame gforce. Then hit up drivetrain dynamics to get the build done
Rippa also doesn’t reply to emails or messages. I ordered 2 of the camo “make hellcats great again” hats back in September and they never shipped out.
100 percent I wanted to have a build done by them drove all the way there 16 hours one way and claimed I had no appointment
@ that ridiculous. I’m sorry to hear that. I couldn’t imagine how upset you were.
I like that dude chose the mustang!! Now bruh u gotta chill Talking bout am not happy with that pass can't start in 3rd, wasn't my best run. Dude that moper fast asf boi!! 😂😂

Darren cobra super clean I follow him on IG love that car. Makes sense what he said

That red Cobra was gorgeous 🥰🥰
Is the qx80 replacement for the durango? Howd it do towing the hellcat?
Love the Cobra smart guy
Love the video!! Wish we can get a run next time 💪🏾💪🏾
Man that Cat sounds like it ready to eat something a live,Dam I miss my Hellcat challenger.
7:43 Dude giving me Christian Slater vibes
nice build gang!
I'm with the cobra lol it's still mopar bruh
the hot wheel is fire sun.
Great video but I am sorry that you wasn’t able to hit 170. Take care and Merry Christmas to you and your family from Me and my family…
Late 90’s early 00 cars for me all day. Definitely understood Bud with the Cobra.
Was there pleasure to say what’s up to u in the pit area .The gtrs killed it that day . But lots of down time at the track due to breakdowns .
I'm rockin wit the cobra. I lime how simple the older cars are from back in the day. The new tech be too much especially for muscle cars
Very nice Steph!
Analog Cobra he Knows what he doing same power he doesn't miss a gear auto Hellcat good race
Stephen what can I do to add like 40 more hp to my Durango rt tow n go..hit me up dawg👊🏾

I appreciate that
When are we ever really satisfied!? 😂

omg at 12:24 did the camero turn his car off? he got left
Missed shift
Add a scramble button for 4th gear put 5 to 15 psi on it you will be close to 177 180
Bro you took the front spoiler off. It actually looks cleaner without the front spoiler.
And fast as hell
👍👍👍
That's actually a good car....lol
Ford has Supercharged their engines since 1965.
Mod what the info so we can come show up …
💪🏿💯
Collector any day
That cobra can't keep up with a hellcat
That all Depends . Btw that Cobra is 20 plus years old . Are you serious ?? The fact that you saying that makes the Hellcat look bad and the Cobra look more impressive 🤷🏽♂️

That cobra > any hellcat. This is coming from a guy whose owned several hellcats 😂
Man just go full sequential like calvo does the vipers they cost but man you will pick up way more speed
When it's fast, but not fun
Hell no those cars never could hook in the street he will end up in the crowd
Disappointed you own a manual hellcat not a lot to expect from this heavy car but held its own
It’s the American Supra
The svt is better than a hellcat imo but for a daily i would definitely take a cat over a cobra
put some skinnies on the front and it would be over 170. rotational weight loss is a BIG
I would take the Cobra over a hellcat all day everyday
A 2004 Supercharged COBRA and GT500s are what Dodge copied when creating HellCats .
So any supercharged v8 muscle car is a cobra/gt500 copy? 😂
Definitely made them pay attention.
Hell No, I get it but. Dodge or nothing. Just for me.
First 🎉
Cobra better
U do know you’re losing power using a gutted supercharger? 😂🤦🏾♂️
