Lean is mean but with boost its also hot. More heat, more ring expansion, more likely to break a piston ring land & blow the motor. TLDR Should the tuner have changed the map to 15:1 for one single pull after the owner said yolo & threw in probably some e-85 w/110 premix? By the book on a dyno isn't running down the road doing heat soaked pulls. FAFO

Everyone knows passed 650 whp you need ethanol. I personally have this same truck making similar power. No problems. As do my friends. If you tune them right and use the right fuel, they’re pretty decent.
