Oh yeah, my favourite part is that if you like let’s say the F-Type and the SLS you need to get the gold edition anyway because they are in separate packs lol

@@Vamatt99218Everygame nowadays don’t have a offline mode every racing game nowadays requires a online connection in some way sadly so they won’t be the first to do this every major racing requires a online connection I just truly hope it gets a offline mode eventually Forza Horizon, NFS, Gran Turismo, The Crew all need internet connections

They're not locked you just get them when you reach a set level, many games have done this in the past unless you just joined the gaming community it's nothing new
Every racing game does this nowadays I hate it but I believe they will unlock when you actually level up in the game you just get them early before everyone else and unlock exclusive liveries I’m a still buy it because bro it’s been 13yrs we’ve been getting NFS and Forza and been playing GTA 5 for years might as well get it we finally have something new in the racing genre that’s in its own genre of a racing gaming but I’ll tell you what bro if they bring back buying and selling cars like the original TDU games then I’m okay with it we can just sell the cars to each other abs be able to receive rare cars problem solved

I was a bit worried about the cars gold edition gets. But I was so happy to read in the description that they won’t become available before level 12(Jaguar XKR etc) and level 20(masarati mc20 etc) very nice touch.

I think my Internet is probably up to the task but the online-only is still the main reason why I, as someone who enjoyed the first two Test Drive Unlimited games, probably won't be buying Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown unless they guarantee an offline patch at end of life and also add a single player career mode, which the previous two Test Drive Unlimited games had, since I have no interest in multiplayer.

It's still not clear if the cars are DLC or if they are in the base game anyways, and thus the premium editions just gets you free access to the cars once you reach said level. Would be nice if Nacon would clarify this, because if the cars are indeed DLC, the value of the editions start to make sense more.

Pre-ordered immediately. I'll happily pay into the franchise knowing they listen to their audience and will likely fix anything we observe is wrong with it.
I think that’s a key thing, we’ve seen them listen and delay the game to get it right over the last 2 years, that’s something you don’t see often, plus some of the features I was allowed to tease over the past months, I’m excited!!!
I didn't hesitate to pre-order as well. From what gameplay footage we got already, I think I will enjoy that game more than NFS and Forza Horizon.
i really really love the TDU franchise and am looking forward to this game heavily, but they havent proven that. These preorder bonuses make me worried about them not listening, by overriding the progression we have been desperately demanding
Are you sure about that, game is not even near release and there is already DLC, online only as well which is a terrible thing for any game longevity, so far to me it looks like yet another cash cow, designed to be milked into oblivion kinda like forza is doing it..

Hello, I have a question about the TDU SC driving model .What does it look like compared to Forza horizon 5, what driving looks like on the steering wheel ( Direct drive ). How to drift on the steering wheel in tdusc.
Bro how are we supposed to know that nobody has played the finish build of the game yet we are waiting we haven’t had a TDU game in over 13yrs we have no idea how it’s going to feel upon launch but the handling is supposed to be sim arcade but leaning more towards sim if you ever played WRC generations it should look similar to that game handling but better because that game was mainly off-road but it had really good handling for a off-road game this game has more asphalt so like I said it would feel different from WRC generations because it’s more of a asphalt focused game
I used my moza r9 while testing and I have to say it's a much better experience than forza. The feedback feels good and smooth and you can feel it when you run over a curb in a low slung car. I never got a chance to fully delve in just drifting but by the few power slides I did while playing it's manageable
4:12 That classic Ferrari wasn’t a Dino (pronounced Dee-no) but it looked to be a 308 GTS, which is even better
The 308 GTS absolutely HAVE TO BE in the game. It was my favorite car to cruise in back in TDU1. With a slight engine upgrade and hardcore mode on ofc. Wow! I will cherish those memories forever
Any word about wheel support on console? It's a decider for me as to which one I get it on. And yes, I'm gonna go all out on the Gold Edition. I just want to know which console I'll be getting it on as my wheel only works on Xbox, yet the DualSense is my preferred controller if there is no real wheel support (PS2 version of the original didn't have any and it was pretty bad on 2).
I also intend on having wheel and controller plugged in so that I can still walk about when inside buildings

and if not that kinda sucks. then it's kinda like FH4 where you have too pay for car passes for some cars(from what I rememberd), but if you can, then I will just take the standard as what I liked about Tdu 1 and 2 was starting with a basic car slowly upgrading your collection with each car purcheas being a special experince.

I love this, I wanna pre-order the game but I have a question regarding the gameplay. Will we be able to play it offline and have access to everything as regular or is it an always online type of game? I don’t want to pre-order the game and then be stranded not playing it if ever my xbox live expires to then not be able to actually own and play the game. I would like to play it like fh3 where I buy the DLCs without worrying about buying an online subscription to be able to take advantage of the gameplays.

They also have the deluxe editions available now for pre order on console for anyone after the physical copy. Apart from a pretty nice steel case I don't see the difference? and you don't get early access with it. Thought it may be worth mentioning. Stay strong brother! Not long now!

As soon as they release the PC system requirements I'm definitely going to preorder. It's hard to drop cash without knowing how the game will run. The trailers look great, but at what cost.

The steam pre-order prices are a little more forgiving but I'll probably have to wait until after release. Much after release until perhaps a great sale. But even then I don't know if I'll be able to run it on my laptop smoothly enough to enjoy it :(

That car 12 minutes in showing off the stickers which as you said doesn't look like a Supra, looks to me like an 86/BRZ, but even then, it's a generic side view graphic and I wouldn't take it as meaning anything, but an 86/BRZ would be VERY nice to have for streets

I think the cars are locked behind the version you get. A standard version will never have the cars post launch. I think the Ford gt is the only pre order bonus car. All other cars mentioned are for the versions and are still available post launch if you buy the version with the car. What I could imagine, that you could buy for real money the car and unlock it with the level. But for now if you want the SLS you need to buy the streets version and if you want the mc20 you need the gold and so on... But I don't think that this packages are just pre order time fixed. They will be also post launch buyable, like any other game in the industry. But then you pay nearly the same price like a preorder price, but lose the early access and the betas for consoles...
I think I will get the gold edition as I want to support the devs as much as possible in order to potentially get this game perfected.

Immediately pre-ordered gold edition. We've waited a long time for this and I believe in KT, especially with the communication and insider info we've gotten along the way, which speaks volumes to me. Including the delays to add, adjust, and hopefully polish the game before launching. Total roll of the dice as far as how launch goes. I'm in for the long haul regardless. Can't wait!t

I really hope not I hope you can still unlock these cars by grinding in game because that is a lot of cars locked behind DLC preorder packs like I’m cool if the liveries and outfits that come on those cars are exclusive to only those packs but they allow us to get those cars in game by grinding for them and getting them at base level no liveries are special outfits but if we can buy and sell cars to each other like the original TDU games then I’m okay with them being exclusive we can sell them to people in game

I’m excited about this game ngl, and I really hope that is going to be a good one. But I hate that without even releasing the game they already offer you future DLCs, a Battlepass and the way they lock content without paying more.
A nice DLC with more content is always welcome, but first finish the damn game, release it and then they’ll have time to add more content. But I’m not paying 100€ for a game.

Today was an awesome day for TDU fans. Awesome how cheap the game is. Gold edition is 80€ for me, I might actually get it, I can't wait for the game. I really hope that the bonus cars aren't exclusive to the pre-orders though, restricting those cars would be horrible
Preorder car is just the Ford gt. All over cars are for the versions. You will be able to buy the gold silver Editions also post launch. But the Ford gt you just get if you buy it before the release. If I'm correct you can buy it on 11.09 and still get the preorder bonus. But would lose the two or 7 days to play early.

No one has ever confirmed this but you have to pick a side (streets or sharps) but are you only able to buy the cars that fit the choice you make or is everything buyable whatever choice you make? Cause if half of the cars are blocked because of a choice you have to make on day 1, that would be a killer for me

So you can switch clans but your progress resets when you switch! :)
You can also switch clans at any time, no minimum or max level needed.
