I caught Bill’s appearance on The Breakfast Club, on UA-cam. Of course, it was great. I always let the other podcasters know that I will watch anything with Bill Burr in it. Because Bill always delivers. It’s how I found out about at least a half a dozen other podcast that I now watch Frequently, if not regularly.
Please tell me you have watched him twice on Dr. Phil Live! I may rewatch it now... laughing so hard is a guarantee. LMK!

Easter dates back to the Roman Empire and the Council of Nicaea. Christianity was illegal... than it wasn't... than it became the prominent religion. In an attempt to get the pesky Germanic pagans into they fold, they began overwriting their holiday's with Christian ones. Easter was the spring solstice, when rebirth of the world was celebrated. Days got longer, warmer weather yada yada. The Christians came along and said..."You guys are close, but your wrong. Its a celebration of the rebirth of Christ you idiots." So they put Easter on the first Sunday after the Spring solstice to get these heathens to come to church. No where in the bible is Easter mentioned nor any dates of resurrection. They just made it up. Kinda like Christmas. Btw, the easter bunny comes from an old Germanic fairy tale where a Goddess whose name sounds a lot like Easter, helped a bird by transfoming it into a bunny. But not completely. The bunny laid her some eggs in a showing of gratitude. Rabbits and eggs have been tied to fertility all over the world for thousands of years. Or, it is April 1st, so maybe i made all this up.

With all due respect, AAA asks where you’re calling from because they need to know where they’re sending the tow truck so they need to know which towing service they might have to reach out to. My biggest complaint with AAA is that all too often the waiting time is far too long.
He probably doesn’t have his AAA linked to his home address and didn’t want to give out his home address because he’s pretty famous. When you put the pretense of “are you calling from your home address?” And then you tell them or home address… well… you know the rest.

I lived on snared rabbit for 7 or so months living wild in Scotland when I was 15. I almost starved on rabbit.
Fucking 10 plus points for passing that info on dude. That and "If you start to feel warmth on the cold air its hypothermia and you need to fucking move now" are my two most passed on bits of info from those years.
On Ohtani and his interpreter, they were very close friends, it is kinda against his MO being so private to bet with a run of the mill bookie. What I believe was he paid for his friend’s debt but did not know it was illegal to do it.
That's the most likely explanation. People who are familiar with Ohtani's beginings in highschool and the NPB know that the guy's life revolves around baseball he even lived at the team's dorms and gave his salary to his mom. I think he paid off his friends debt and later his lawyer asked him to change his story because it doesn't look good.
Still don't use self checkouts if there's a register open, I don't work there.
