Mr. Lucas has been providing game information for over 20 years I was watching him since ours I can’t even remember he should go down in the video game Hall of Fame him and tommy
Whoa! Until I watched this review I had completely forgotten that I played this game as a kid. Like a complete mental block but this video brought it all back. That was actually a really cool experience. Thanks!
Man, this takes me back. Remember playing it on my brother's GameBoy when I was 5 lol. This was the first game that I ever used the Contra Code....it works! Blew my mind you could put in a secret code to get all your life back.
I'll never forget when my buddy got tmnt arcade for the nes. We played that game for hours on end. I was blown away by the colors and animations at the time.
Vic, for the last 20+ years, you have been the only game reviewer/player I've ever implicitly trusted. Even when I disagree with you I still respect everything you do. You deserve your legendary status
Played this game as a kid and loved it. Not as good as TMNT 3 Radical Rescue (a Metroid-vania style Game Boy game from 1993) but still lots of fun. You never mentioned it so not sure if you found them but most levels have a “secret room” where you play a mini game and you can get health back if you do well.
This was a great game and one of the first games I was able to complete from start to finish as a kid. And Vic... you gotta hit the blocks back at the foot when they throw them at you. You’re taking it to the face in your gameplay! :P
I know you and Tommy reviewed the game in the past on Electric Playground, but it would be fun to revisit Activision’s Spider-Man, which game out 20 years ago. It was an awesome game, and Tommy Tallarico provides the music for it as well! The game also got a sequel a year later, Spider-Man 2: Enter Electro.
Hi, Vic. It’s awesome that you’ve expanded the series. Now I hope you review Batman: Return of the Joker for the original Game Boy. IMO it’s one of the best side scrolling superhero games.
Looking forward to Vic playing TMNT3: The Manhattan Project. Nobody every speaks of this game in the ssries and it is probably my favorite aside from Turtles In Time.
great video! love the content dude, keep it up! if you get a chance check out the third TMNT game on the Gameboy: Radical Rescue! it's the coolest one imo since it has more of an exploration castlevania/metroid vibe
I still have a loose cart of this myself. I’m pretty sure there were 3 TMNT games on the GameBoy. I’m curious if it was the team working on all 3? Also now is the perfect time to be a Turtles fan. First movie turned 30 (still my favorite movie), Rise of the TMNT is a breath of fresh air for the series, we have some solid games (I’d love to see the NES TMNT3 game updated with online co-op though), and the comics from IDW are super solid too.
Vic, these vids kick ass. Now that you have expanded to side scrollers. You gotta play the Pixel ripped vr series. I know im a broken record but i guarantee you'll dig it!
Fall of the Foot Clan is good, but, Back from the Sewers is very good, some + and - with both, but the sequel is better all in all I think, also much smoother. I played them when new, And I found my Game Boy again a couple years ago, and Game Boy games have really held up good and is still very fun actually. Atleast the ones I have. I wanted to buy Radical Rescue, since I am missing that one. And it is more MetroidVania-ish. It seems fun. Cowabunga!
This was a fun game. I ended up trading it to my brother for Super Mario Land haha. I've been meaning to pick it up again since it's cheap and easy to find.
Victor Lucas makes me happy.

I concur, sir!
was just thinking the same thing
Did a massive cull of all my UA-cam subscriptions. Went from about 150 to 15. Vic, your channel made the cut! Can't go without my EP! :-)
Man I loved this game back in the day.
I realize it is quite off topic but do anybody know of a good place to watch newly released movies online ?
@Casen Franco lately I have been using Flixzone. Just search on google for it =)
@Casen Franco try flixzone. You can find it on google =)

Easily one of my favourites. Kept me occupied during long bus rides and the doctors waiting room
One of my favorites from my childhood!
Youve helped my depression vic. Youre the fkn man.
I forgot about this game. I was in elementary!
Absolutely one of my most prized possessions as a kid. Musta played thru this a thousand times!
Whoa. Sudden flashbacks of being 10 years old playing this game.
This was the first game I got for my Game Boy back in Christmas of '91 that wasn't a pack-in title. Good times.
Great review as always Vic! I had this growing up and loved it. I still have my original copy!
Keep doing these videos. I love learning about old games ive never even heard of.

Wow I enjoyed this game a lot .. those were the good old days
I'll never forget when my buddy got tmnt arcade for the nes. We played that game for hours on end. I was blown away by the colors and animations at the time.
Still have mine! Love it to this day
Brings back memories when I would play this on my old grey Game Boy during car rides in the dark.
Thank goodness for street lights.
Vic, for the last 20+ years, you have been the only game reviewer/player I've ever implicitly trusted. Even when I disagree with you I still respect everything you do. You deserve your legendary status
Loved this game back then and still do!
Vic thanks for all these uploads. man it's awesome that we've had EP for all this time. Keep gaming brother
Vic lucas is the man! Thanks for reviewing these classics.
Holy, what a nostalgic memory for me. I remember playing the crap out of this game when I was a kid.
Have you ever done a game room tour? Love to see that Stay safe and thanks the all the entertainment 🇬🇧
That music *Swoons
Had this game on a multicard back then, loved it to bits.
This game was my game of choice going on car rides with my GBA as a kid
I replayed the intro maybe 15 times until I finally remembered it was from Maximum Carnage!
I picked it up in a time when big box stores sold previously played games. The game has a lot of replay value because it's short but solid.
awesome intro dude! love the series

Played this so much in the early 90’s! An early and amazing composition from Michiru Yamane!
i had this game as a kid and liked it a lot. was a solid short and simple game
I remember the music being great on this with headphones.
Worth a playthrough.
Back in the day, my cousin found a lost copy of this game while on a fishing trip and he gave it to me
This was a great game and one of the first games I was able to complete from start to finish as a kid. And Vic... you gotta hit the blocks back at the foot when they throw them at you. You’re taking it to the face in your gameplay! :P
I was wondering if you were going to expand your 16-bit Superhero series, Vic. And I remember friends in elementary school playing this.
Awesome! Can't wait for TMNT3 Radical Rescue. That game was SO hard. "Prepare for BUTTLE!"

This was nicely done for the portable Gameboy, I had it when it came out because it was the 90's :D
Great game, I played it back in the day

Back when we had good Ninja Turtles games. :)
Love this series!

Vic, we're gonna need a collection video at some point.
Looking forward to Vic playing TMNT3: The Manhattan Project. Nobody every speaks of this game in the ssries and it is probably my favorite aside from Turtles In Time.

Also, the developer Ana Ribeiro from ARVORE studios is a wonderful interview.

Great job
TMNT3 for the NES gets crap, but I liked it.
Do Batman for the Gameboy. Not the best looking game but it’s fun.
I played this as a kid, but we got a bootleg so all the dialogue was in Japanese lol
This game is boring.
