weights at the front of the combine with the head. bigger wheels take the weight better and lower ground pressure. smaller tires on the back have less weight so easier to turn and less weight means less rooting of the ground
Cannot fathom why the muppet at 0:18 has the nose of the car sticking out into the road, when it is clearly, obviously a bay for lengthwise car parking. Jeez.
not to mention that if you put wet grain in the store it'll go rotten and your be worth nothing or get rejected at the mills. That and not every farm has grain driers, and even if they do its bloody expensive to run them all the time
Wet grain will not flow through the rotor and thresher system well, and transport augers will have a hard time moving the grain. Dry grain in the rotor, and it separates correctly. Wet grain won't separate, it just sticks to the crop stalk and mashes up to the point where it is useless.
david cahill why, they are driving large vehicles the only thing the people clue should be doing is giving them an escort! Idiot, these guys grow most of the food that you eat. Give them a break!
stagmite11 RS Towing limit for that truck would be about 3 tonnes. Combine header and trolley would be quite a bit more. Anything towed by a car over 750kg should be braked, header trailers usually aren't.
Awesome, even in rural areas motorists don't know the width of their own vehicle!!
I'm loving these tractor videos, you get some great footage, subbed!
You make great videos. Please keep them coming.
Great video buddy! Didn't think some of them would move at one point. :-)
there's allot of radiation where you live! :P
micheals1992 XD
Sorry for the delay but great comment
Nice video.
Good to see your in Bedfordshire, And at SW college
Now that we do, we use a ute as well to escort the combine! Bloody small roads haha
Great vid😀😀😀
Using a truck to pull the header is so much easier than a tractor I reckon
Billy Riddell just use the combine works for us on Dartmoor
Toyota gets the job done every time!!
CAT DIESEL POWER wish it was gmc though lol
is there a hilux that is pulling the header?
In Germany they never make room ....
super Video
You must have big machinery
police didn't seem to mind MR health and safety
+kenneth alcorn What do you mean ?
Why do the combines only have rear steering?
better manoverablity and more space for turning
weights at the front of the combine with the head. bigger wheels take the weight better and lower ground pressure. smaller tires on the back have less weight so easier to turn and less weight means less rooting of the ground
Micheal O'Donovan its also that the combine can make shorter turns
the farm your taking that too is kings hill farm and Brian is the farm manager how do you guys know him ?
Where they have taken it to is a collage
Where they have taken it to is a collage
it will be awesome if you have like a gopro on your head
which city in UK?
It's Scotland and England
Fatih akgün and wales
why he drive left side on the road?
j0hny because it's the law
And its in the UK, they drive always on the left
j0hny because in the UK you drive on the left but where I live in America you drive on the right
Because we drive on the left side of the road which is right and you drive on the right side of the road which is wrong!
@@gibbo9089 Right is Right obviously. Left = liberal which NONE of us need to be
how the fuck did I wind up here watching this..
Cannot fathom why the muppet at 0:18 has the nose of the car sticking out into the road, when it is clearly, obviously a bay for lengthwise car parking. Jeez.
Why can't you harvest when it rains?
Jorgen_ 021 the crop gets wet and gets stuck in the pips and that
Ah, okay. That makes sence.
Jorgen_ 021 yeah it gets all jammed up in the harvested and you can sometimes lose grain

Is it just me, or did the white car flash its' headlights at the truck? How rude.
why dont you just attach the trailer to the combine? just a thought
Tom Forrest iTS saver like this on small roads
Can't turn on the corners, the trailer & header would clip hedges and fences etc.
Plus, with rear stearing on the combine it could potentially jackhammer the trailer and header on sharp turns.
jacknife...
i mean what did you expect lol its usauly not to far behind the head
u have full control of the road in the combine.
Don't think pulling the header behind a truck is legal unless it's braked. Surprised that copper didn't pull you in.
helimad100 iTS legal its actually recemeded on those small country roads
lol
Why call it Escorting the Combine, WHEN THERE ISN'T A ESCORT!?!
the police should have pull you over your driving
david cahill why, they are driving large vehicles the only thing the people clue should be doing is giving them an escort! Idiot, these guys grow most of the food that you eat. Give them a break!
Oliver Stimson exactly
Why?
Don't think pulling the header behind a truck is legal unless it's braked. Surprised that copper didn't pull you in.
helimad100 why is it illegal. It's mostly to do with the power to weight ratio

The big ones in Europe often are. Most of the Time they use an overrun brake.
Who the fuck cares, do you want to tow 8 meters header with combine and do you want to be stuck behind it? Exactly no, so shut up and do your work
