He's got money and influence, any case against Trump really needs to be Ironclad and airtight. The justice department is really concerned action taken against a former president will look like political reprisal to a huge proportion of Americans, if that happens it will be very bad news. Stability is dependent upon citizens having confidence in their institutions. So I get why they are being very slow and cautious about officially charging Trump, there's no room for error here.

I have lived overseas and I loved my travels in the military, but I can tell you there is nowhere else in the world I would want to live except the USA. I don't get what is so difficult to understand an investigation of this magnitude requires time and all details must be thoroughly checked and rechecked. The witness lists are multiple pages and if you charge a person, especially high profile, before your case is totally solid you may not get a conviction. The United States is certainly not perfect but our democracy has held up since its inception and our heros from the Armed Forces have defended our flag many times before,and our flag is still flying. Our Jan 6th Committee has done and will continue to do an excellent job of putting all the pieces together. More is revealed each day and that is how you build a solid case. We are in a difficult time in the history of our country but we have had tough times before and we Americans are resilient. America has always been great and will continue to be, of that I have no doubt. Land of the free and home of the brave. 🇺🇸

They could have had this protest any day prior to 1/6. In fact if the goal was to peacefully protest and have the point about voter fraud would get greater impact on the politicians and the public if it was held a day or two prior to the 1/6 electoral college vote. They were there on 1/6 to stop things through any means. No one ever seems to question why the protest was on 1/6.
