Another idea: don't tell people about your plans. Just telling people gives enough satisfaction to stop your progress because it feels like you've already reached some form of closure (for me at least). Just be quiet about it and be consistent, eventually the results will speak for themselves.
I’ve had this. Changing it to be more of making a commitment to somebody can be helpful for some tho. Def don’t go walking around telling everybody that you’re getting fit kinda thing thi
Good idea , plus it can make you feel like a failure failure if you’ve not kept up whatever you said you were going to do whether that be hit in the gym doing some natural activity and movement at home and eating more carefully.
@@KITKATHEROMe too! It’s really exciting and motivating to speak to those same people about the small wins + silly mistakes! Also really awesome to get different insights into some of my struggles along the journey. 😊
Being patient is key. Fat loss or muscle growth doesn’t just take a few weeks, it takes months. I’m currently on a cut with 6-7 weeks to go. Let’s do it fellas! Consistency is key. Edit: I was on a cut for 4 months and then I paused. I'm now going to restart the cutt again. Let's get to 10 percent bodyfat!
My journey has been SLOW. I started last year with 35%ish body fat and finally am down to around 25% body fat. What works for me is sticking to a schedule of gym AT LEAST 4 times a week, two of those sessions full body lifting, two being intense cardio. On top of that, because of my past with disordered eating - I really only focus on two things “am I roughly eating enough protein” and “am I full” With those two things, I’m down 25lbs and have SO MUCH more muscle than when I started. Thank you as always for your amazing advice and tips!
It takes more than 2 months to build a habit. Have that in mind when you create your gym plan and the consistency will form. I was able to do it around my 80 hr work week as a physician by waking up at 5am. After the first few weeks, I couldn’t wait to wake up and start my work out as part of the start of my day
This is very true, thank you for this video. I find the workout where I go at the same time to the gym every week is the one I never skip. The one where I add it into my schedule whenever I see a gap is the one I skip immediately when something else comes up or I feel busy. It doesn't feel non-negotiable yet.
More Seoul vlogs and daily life videos please. Maybe some workout walkthrough videos as well such as goong through the free training routines and showing how you do them
When you said “prioritize, optimize, minimize, systematize and strategize” I was like “oh this man spitting 🤯” you need a record deal for that 🤣 GREAT VIDEO!
@Wanhee 완희 Can you talk about chest muscles in the next videos? Specifically: is the incline bench press enough to build aesthetic chest muscles, especially the lower section so that the muscles do not look flat? Currently my pecs have no definition and I wonder if it's because I have too much body fat and if as I burn fat they will still look as flat as they do now or if they will gain more definition.
Hi Wanhee, I have a basic question: when your current weight training routine starts to become easier, do you increase the weight or the reps? I’m a woman, and my goal by the end of 2024, is to look “aesthetically pleasing” not muscular. I’m asking YOU because I want to make sure I get the right answer. Thanks!
Right I’m hitting the gym I know I can move at home but I get motivated in the gym and will be mindful of what I eat. I know what to do just don’t do it 😅 eat too many sugary rubbish junk food when stressed blowing all the beautiful tasty home cooked food. PS S Korea lovely country you make sense like many channels in India too
This journey of minimalistic training is similar to that of HIT (High Intensity Training). Mike Mentzer and Dorian Yates are the most famous that i know off, but definitely do your own research and find your own styles of training.
I changed gym and the instructor doesn't let me go on with my exercises! He wants me to do endless small exercises and most of them I don't even like. Some are okay but I feel I'm getting weaker and losing all I've had worked for e.e
I've been weight lifting for fitness for a while. Been very consistent over the last year and a half and seeing gains and weight loss. Earlier in life I was a runner/cardio guy. Now, when I see a fat runner out there I laugh. I don't intent to be critical but I wish I could go convince these people to take up weight lifting. They all don't get how cardio doesn't necessarily equal getting lean. If I had a dime for every skinny fat long distance runner I saw, I'd be rich!
the same info as in the previous videos 😂 nothing new, you just need to send a link on your previous content and not create the same new video but overall your content is great, no offence
Man you're getting lazy or something. All your new videos are extremely similar and with minimal content besides your talking to the camera. With all love and respect
Not at all. Last year, I decided to work out 3 days per week, and for the year did 150 workouts. It’s simply self discipline. After each workout, I review results and plan the next. In my life, I have set and achieved goals.
Go in a 500-1000 calories deficit (intermittent fasting, walking 10k steps a day, cutting processed foods can help) and make sure you consume 0.8-1g of protein per pound of body weight, you’ll build muscle while cutting
Last year, September 25 i as 20kg over my ideal weight. I lost 15 kg until the end of the year. But now things seems a bit harder. I've never been this long in a caloric defict. Cutting may be hard, but is best to start loosing fat, and them build muscle on top of that.
Another idea: don't tell people about your plans. Just telling people gives enough satisfaction to stop your progress because it feels like you've already reached some form of closure (for me at least). Just be quiet about it and be consistent, eventually the results will speak for themselves.
Completely agree, I knew this but I'd never verbalised or thought about it concisely before.

Yeah, idk i use it as accountability. If a few people know my plans, they check in on me and also it shows them at the end that I do what I say I will

Lets go my fellow minimalist trainers, 2024 will be a great year of training, health and growth
1. Self awareness.
2. Pattern recognition.
My melancholic self turning pain

Great work man, hope you keep seeing the progression 💪
This is the year I'll get aesthetic. Thanks for all the help Wanhee, let's do this!

Having a planned workout and planned workout days has helped me so much in the gym

Yeah the decision fatigue bit was really spot on. You're off to a great start in 2024. \o/
This is true 10000%
Excellent way of reasoning. It's very intelligent. It's an art of leaving. Thank you Wanhee 👍👍👍
love the structure and simplicity within your videos.
Consistency is EVERYTHING

There are some things that just are not meant to be changed, your body is not one of them.
This journey of minimalistic training is similar to that of HIT (High Intensity Training). Mike Mentzer and Dorian Yates are the most famous that i know off, but definitely do your own research and find your own styles of training.
Really love your videos man keep going!
thanks

I changed gym and the instructor doesn't let me go on with my exercises! He wants me to do endless small exercises and most of them I don't even like. Some are okay but I feel I'm getting weaker and losing all I've had worked for e.e
This is gonna be me this year

I would never go back to being twenty again.

That cat really loves you, heh? Consistency / boring and predictable strategies and consequent actions are the way to get results.
Marry me!

Become aesthetic huh? 😅
Bro channel is dying
What if you're starting out like 20kg overweight? Should the first goal be to eat more to build muscle? Or just start by cutting?
Go in a 500-1000 calories deficit (intermittent fasting, walking 10k steps a day, cutting processed foods can help) and make sure you consume 0.8-1g of protein per pound of body weight, you’ll build muscle while cutting

This Guy is just amazing, genuine, no BS at all and I love how he puts his videos so simple and Absolutely understandable concept🫴🏻🤍
