Pickup driver issued careless driving ticket in crash on highway 75

Driver of pickup truck issued careless driving ticket in crash with semi truck:
On July 19/24 around 1:40 pm, St Pierre Jolys rcmp responded to a collision involving a pickup truck and a semi at the intersection of highway 75 and 210.
A black pickup was seen in the northbound ditch of highway 75 at 210, and a loaded semi t truck was flipped on its side blocking all lanes of northbound highway 75.
Police say that the pickup truck was making a left turn on 210 from 75 and was struck by the northbound semi.
No serious injuries occurred. Manitoba hydro was called out to the scene to fix a hydro pole that was dangling by the hydro lines from the collision.
The semi truck was carrying flammable products and Manitoba environmental attended to assist with the cleanup.
Dr hook was also called out to help tow the vehicles away and clean up the spill.
The driver of the pickup truck was issued a ticket under the highway traffic act for careless driving. A fine resulted in $672.
