We always see big guys (6 ft plus) who are excellent golfers trying out these clubs. Which is fine per se, but would also like to see a 8-12 HC hitting these balls and sharing their feedback about these clubs. Thanks for the video.
@@TylerAustin123 of course not, thats not humanly possible. but maybe invite a friend who has that handicap to swing the clubs and share additional feedback. If most of the audience are 8-12 HC, then it should be more tailored to them.
I ended up going with the 3 and 5 wood of the STEALTH 2 HD.....love them...easy to hit..straight and high.. shortened 5 wood to a 7 wood length ( love it )....cheers from Canada
Hi Mike. Just wanted to give a shout out for the PXG 0211 Fairway Wood. I picked up a 7 wood for £149.00 new from PXG and it's a cheat club.... Super easy to launch and uber forgiving.
I was recently fitted and the Stealth 2 is what I ended up with. The G430 tested close. Callaway didn't fair well. That's why I will always get fit because I probably would have bought Callaway if I hadn't been fitted.
Callaway looks and performs awesome. But price point is for the rich to own only. I’d like to see the Cobra, Tour Edge and Wilson Dynapower fairways tested also. I’ll be able to afford a Paradym in about 10 years after they depreciate a bit.
Playing the g430 this year, definitely a lower profile than the stealth I had last year, not sure it’s as much a bomber, but it’s easy to hit off deck for sure. Would love to see the Srixon mark 2 fairway in the comparison here as I’ve heard good things. Finally Mike any chance of a review of the JPX923 forged and tour irons. I’m dying to see your thoughts and review! Cheers Mike
Always appreciate and enjoy your reviews; however, I often wonder about results (distance/grouping/etc) when a high handicapper test the same with off center hits (as most average golfers experience). Perhaps you can introduce a high handicapper to test?
Michael, another great video; my only comment is that the Avrege golfer has a different much different club head speed. using the 3 wood is were this much change the feeling. For me HCP20 w 7 iron club head speed at 75mph, I judge a wood just based on consistency and ball flight *7 wood is the real max i can hit(.
I ended up with the TSR2 after hitting the shit out of all 4. I wanted to like the Cally, as I have the driver, but the TSR2 was the easiest for me to hit with the best distance and dispersion.
I get 15-20 yards extra over my Mavrik - not rich but sold back clubs in the loft I’d never use again; bet you’ve got some too! 5 woods brilliant draw club… go part exchange - many online shops doing this. I got 25 percent extra on an offer!
I had Sim Max 3 and 5 metals and with their deep faces it was a total crap shoot off the turf. Recently sold them a few months ago and ordered Rouge ST MAX from Callaway pre-owned. By far the easiest to hit off the turf with their low profile faces. Flat sole. Best is they weren’t even pre-Owned. They still had new stickers on the soles. Basically about $100 off each model How does the Callaway compare to TSR2 ?
Agree on the Sim 3 wood - I use the Stealth 3 wood, easy for me to hit. The Sim 5 wood is outstanding for me, along w/the 7 wood. Will keep them in my bag for a long time.
I have the stealth 2 hd 7 wood and went to pick up the hd 3 wood today but they only had a senior flex in righty and a lefty. If the damn shaft was adjustable I could have just had them switch the shafts and I could have gotten it. But because they didn’t, I ended up with the paradym hl. I’m excited because I have the option to drop it to a more traditional 15.5, leave it at 16.5 or obviously bring it up +1 or +2, which now makes it essentially a 3,4, or a string 5 wood. Excited to get out there and really see what it can do for me
just watched your review of the callaway utility wood in 19 degrees... your carry with that club was over 250.... your hitting the 19 degree utility wood further than any 3 wood review ive seen of yours? am I missing something? can't imagine how far you would hit the 17 degree utility...
Great comparison. Pretty much what I found with distances when I tried them all. Not as long as your though but in terms of the ping being a lot shorter and that noise 🙈 settled on the Paradym but not a lot between that and the stealth for me just preferred the shallower face
I have the TSR2 driver in 10°, I wound up with the Paradym 3H at 18°, I’m hoping I don’t end up with a third brand for my 3 wood 😂 head covers all over the place
Your review seemed kinda biased towards the Callaway from the way you talked about it to how you swung it compared to the other 2 also keeping it last to hit like your mind was already set from worst to best. Don't get me wrong the paradym are good clubs it just seemed to me you tried to make it stand out more. Thanks for the review!
I’m a 17 handicap and only one round with the Callaway but many with PXG Gen 4 XF. Off the deck the max I have hit my PXG 3 wood was 225 I struggled to be consistent though. First round with the Callaway was a 242 yard shot off the deck with the Paradym 3 wood lofted up a degree and dead straight.
Now you can get used around $150 usd depending on conditions. Makes me think always better to get clubs few years later, especially ones we dont use as much. t using
callaway seems gimmicky, ?obviously 100% subjective, well made club with forward low weight giving lower spin and penetrating flight, hardly a gimmick ,

Do you expect him to take this feedback, become both shorter and worse at golf and then make a new video for your benefit?

I'm curious how you went from height to handicap ..... What's the height have to do with his handicap
Dropped my 5 wood for a Callaway Apex Utility Wood (UW) at 17 degrees. What a club!
Same, except I went for a 19 degree one, he also uses one as well
Simliar to the Cleveland Hywood?
I’ve got both the Paradym Triple Diamond 3 wood and the Stealth 2 Plus 3 wood. Paradym all day. Better dispersion and so easy to hit off the deck.

Hi,
Can you tell me if the G430 Max 5 Wood has scoring lines on the face or is the face flat smooth? I see there’s two versions online when I google.

They're all good picks, but I prefer the Stealth OG
Hi Michael, I have a cobra max red draw offset 3w small thin head that I can hit well but its not going that far . shaft is about 22g regular . paul
Torn between the Ping and Calloway. Still hitting the Ping K15'S and time to upgrade. Just got the Ping G430 irons and they're amazing.
Would like to see a review on the low spin 3 woods too. I like to hit 3 wood off the tee do the Callaway gets the nod.
Curious how Titleist would match up against these 3!?! Future video?

bad move. callaway is built like cheap tin

awaiting my Callaway paradym 3 wood , Can never seem to understand the lack of adjustability in the Taylormade.
Yeah makes zero sense considering the adjustability of all woods and hybrids now

How about going back to a down the line view for ballflight?
I went with PING G430 SFT 5-wood.
Did the SFT(slice fight) help with your shot dispersion?
Still with Cobra...F9 3 wood.

Who cares! Buy what works for each club my man!!
I prefer my hybrid off fairway
And 3w and 5w off low tee
No Srixon?
Aerojet...you really should include it.
I hit the Stealth on the button most of the time.
The Callaway looks more closed to me than the Ping so I went with Ping.

The ping for me due to the spin cheers Mike

Stealth absolutely smokes!!! I hit driver 290 carry and can hit Stealth 3 wood 275+. I’ve hit it 305
Isnt the big three Titleist, Taylormade & Callaway? Middle three would be Cobra, Mizuno & Ping..
I’d go Titleist and mizuno. However I’m a 20 year mizuno iron player so might be bias
Tested them found cobra the easiest to hit and get the distance

Probably availability from Titty...
That’s pretty opinionated. Either way, there are plenty of Titleist videos out there you can search as well.
Which 3 wood is easiest to hit and half the price of these is the Cleveland Launcher XL Halo 3 wood ……
Cobra
Pxg would beat all of them
Given that none of them are made of wood….

Useless for mid to high hcp as most of these reviews.
Mr. Newton... Tour Exotics series with Diamond Face tech is as good as all of them and $200 cheaper.
