Those who are asking whether they can switch to 60Hz - the answer is no. I have other lenovo gaming laptops and they can, so I got mixed up. But do note, all high refresh rate displays can be downclocked to 60Hz, but it's not straight forward.
I got MSI Bravo 15 B7ED with Ryzen 5 7535hs (Zen 3+) and Radeon rx 6550m 4GB GPU, 8GB DDR5 4800mhz RAM, 512GB Gen 4 ssd for just 45490rs. The processor is very much better than ryzen 5 5500h and also rx6550m absolutely beats rtx 2050 in gaming. In MSI afterburner and Rivatuner statistics, My gpu alone withdraws 65watts of power and the cpu withdraws around 90-95 watts. (Maybe Because of AMD SAM). Radeon rx6550m beats lower tgp rtx 3050 's. Clearly the processor, gpu, RAM and SSD are far better than the laptop featured in the video. And also this one is also the same price. There is literally no reason to buy lenovo instead of MSI.... Also while purchasing, I didn't use any card offer or anything :) Also the cooling is phenomenal. The MSI bravo rtx 4060 variant also uses the same chassis and cooling as the rx6550m model.
95W is combined CPU + GPU draw (60-65W for GPU+35W for CPU). It's a bug. I know because I have reviewed RX 5500M (MSI Bravo/Victus) and RX 5600M (Dell G5 SE) before. You've got a good pick. I have detailed review on 5500M and it also has hw encoders which are missing from the 6500m/6550m. 5500M also plays better with PCIe 3.0 platforms like Ryzen 5000 due to having 8 lanes. Personally I don't openly recommend MSI laptops anymore due to terrible after sales. And NVIDIA RTX 2050 is better suited for productivity. Plus the MSI Bravo is hard to find, so there are reasons to get the Ideapad.

I was planning to buy a asus creator series laptop with r7 5800hs and 4gb 3050 (50W) which weights just 1.8 kg as I need to Carry around in college. The price hovers around 58-62 k . I also thought of loq but I don't think so buying a 2.2 kg loq and 700 g brick would be an optimal choice. But the main concern is the thermals can 1.8kg laptop chasis manage the thermals if I run maybe cyberpunk or rdr?

In today's day and age, thermals are not a concern. Laptop CPUs are built to sustain 100C and just throttle. CPU will maintain max clock speeds possible to stay at or under 100C (95C or 97C or 101C depending on brand).

Brought it 1 month ago for 39000 and upgraded the ram to 16gb and ssd to 1 tb but the bad thing about this laptop is that in most of sites its written hexa core but in real it has quad core and the ssd slots are also misleading because in flipkart its written it have gen4 ssd but in real it have gen3 ssd slot which make game loading slower but I recommend this laptop for budget having 40 to 45k If you have a budget of 50k go with asus tuf f15 it have hexa core and more efficient laptop
Game loading speed speed difference between Gen 3 vs Gen 4 is just a couple of seconds. Infact it's same for Sata vs Pcie gen 4. So that's not the issue. May be you are more limited by the CPU in terms of game loading. Ryzen '5xxx' laptop CPUs itself do not support PCIE Gen 4. So Gen 4 SSDs will run in Gen 3 speeds.
If you’re from the UK then I suggest somewhere like Argos as it’s a lot cheaper than places like curry’s. Amazon dealers can be slightly dodgy so make sure to check the reviews and if it only has 2 or so then be very careful. Hope this helps

Your budget is already too low. You need RTX GPU and for that on laptops you'll get RTX 2050 and on desktops if you are very stringent and lucky, you can fit an RTX 3060 and manage the rest of components by opting for cheaper parts. GPU is most important for your work. (No budget left for monitor, mouse and keyboard, buy these 2nd hand)

It's not the end of the world bro. After all it's only 45k-47k. I personally found the CPU specs shocking as it's named a "Ryzen 5 5500H" but is far worse than similarly named "Ryzen 5 5600H". But don't worry too much, at the end of the day, it's good enough for the config and price.
I would say anyone looking for a laptop just buy this one and when you start earning money build a pc because a pc of 50k will always perform better than a laptop of more price also the life capacity of a pc is unmatched laptops give many problems after 2-3 years of regular usage .

I will recommend you to check out acer aspire 7 it has a nice design and 12th gen i5 rtx 16gb ram and I got it for 42k in card offers. The card offer was valid on any bank. Overall it offers descent performance and 12450h clocks to maximum single core and multi core(there is no under voting) The difference between 55w tgp(acer aspire 7) and 70w 2050 is approx negligible. Cause you won't see rtx 2050 crossing more than 57w mark. And last thing i5 12450h will handle any sort of 1080p editing with ease.

Yes depending on settings, you can. PUBG(BGMI is a mobile game), COD, Battlefield are all easier to run than Cyberpunk 2077. The CPU may hold you back a bit in games like Warzone but at medium settings, 60fps+ should be achievable.

Bro i am currently using Lenovo loq 15 i5 12450hx with rtx 4060. in a previous bios update they have replaced 115w tgp option from custom profile mode with 105w tgp mode for the gpu. they have also removed the old bios file from the support page. is there anyway where i can rollback to the previous bios or any other methods to enable 115w mode again?
Do some benchmark tests.. actually there is no difference between 105W and 115W.. I actually run mine undervolted and it only sips 90W max-91W max. RTX 4060 doesn't gain performance beyond 95W. I never upgrade BIOS because why should I, so I never face this kind of issues. Anyways there is a simple way to get back old BIOS. Just modify the bios download URL. Replace the BIOS number in the latest BIOS URL with the older BIOS number and hit enter 😁

It depends on the game level's requirements. You can try using 3rd party app like Ryzen controller and lock CPU TDP to 35W. But check your GPU usage, if that's over 95%, you are good. GPU usage is more important.

Brought it 1 month ago for 39000 and upgraded the ram to 16gb and ssd to 1 tb but the bad thing about this laptop is that in most of sites its written hexa core but in real it has quad core and the ssd slots are also misleading because in flipkart its written it have gen4 ssd but in real it have gen3 ssd slot which make game loading slower but I recommend this laptop for budget having 40 to 45k If you have a budget of 50k go with asus tuf f15 it have hexa core and more efficient laptop
Game loading speed speed difference between Gen 3 vs Gen 4 is just a couple of seconds. Infact it's same for Sata vs Pcie gen 4. So that's not the issue.
May be you are more limited by the CPU in terms of game loading.
Ryzen '5xxx' laptop CPUs itself do not support PCIE Gen 4. So Gen 4 SSDs will run in Gen 3 speeds.

Your budget is already too low.
You need RTX GPU and for that on laptops you'll get RTX 2050 and on desktops if you are very stringent and lucky, you can fit an RTX 3060 and manage the rest of components by opting for cheaper parts.
GPU is most important for your work.

It may happen, some sensors don't show in MSI Afterburner.
For that you can install HWinfo64 and add it's CPU temps into the RTSS.

I will recommend you to check out acer aspire 7 it has a nice design and 12th gen i5 rtx 16gb ram and I got it for 42k in card offers. The card offer was valid on any bank. Overall it offers descent performance and 12450h clocks to maximum single core and multi core(there is no under voting)
The difference between 55w tgp(acer aspire 7) and 70w 2050 is approx negligible. Cause you won't see rtx 2050 crossing more than 57w mark.
And last thing i5 12450h will handle any sort of 1080p editing with ease.
Or you can also go for other i5 12450h laptops but check if there is any factory downclocking first.
Ryzen 5500h is very weak in multicore.

The official spec says 2242, but to me it looked like 2230. Regardless you don't have to worry as the built in ssd is the smaller one - so you have the freedom to install a full length 2280 SSD.

Bro i am currently using Lenovo loq 15 i5 12450hx with rtx 4060. in a previous bios update they have replaced 115w tgp option from custom profile mode with 105w tgp mode for the gpu. they have also removed the old bios file from the support page. is there anyway where i can rollback to the previous bios or any other methods to enable 115w mode again?
Do some benchmark tests.. actually there is no difference between 105W and 115W.. I actually run mine undervolted and it only sips 90W max-91W max. RTX 4060 doesn't gain performance beyond 95W.
I never upgrade BIOS because why should I, so I never face this kind of issues.
Anyways there is a simple way to get back old BIOS. Just modify the bios download URL. Replace the BIOS number in the latest BIOS URL with the older BIOS number and hit enter 😁

You can try using 3rd party app like Ryzen controller and lock CPU TDP to 35W.
But check your GPU usage, if that's over 95%, you are good. GPU usage is more important.
