The police station in Westdyke, Alderney sometimes has a cop with a rifle and a security guard next to the gate. If you try to push the security guard from the other side of the barriers, he'll fight you, if you pull out a gun he'll do the same and the cop with the rifle will mow him down.

I remember being amazed when I first saw this detail. I was actually looking for pigeons when I bumped into an npc and didn’t realized they got agro and was fought of guard when they started punching me and heard the sirens turn on and was confused why my wanted level didn’t activate and that’s when I saw the cops running up guns drawn to arrest was the npc and actually got into the squad car. I did it several more times especially with the Russians in hove beach shooting back and seeing more cops coming if the shooter doesn’t die immediately kinda like they have their own wanted level meter
👮♂️Cops in GTA IV: 🍔 *Fat cops:* Running so sluggishly they can barely keep up. Niko can just run to lose wanted level easily. 🏃♂️ *Slim cops:* Running as fast as they can that they easily catch up with Niko while sprinting. You need a car to lose wanted level.
In GTA 4, in case Niko doesn't get wanted level, when the pedestrian commits a crime, especially to punch someone or Niko, the cops will have NPC the same way Niko was arrested. It's one of the most realistic so far.

I remember being amazed when I first saw this detail. I was actually looking for pigeons when I bumped into an npc and didn’t realized they got agro and was fought of guard when they started punching me and heard the sirens turn on and was confused why my wanted level didn’t activate and that’s when I saw the cops running up guns drawn to arrest was the npc and actually got into the squad car. I did it several more times especially with the Russians in hove beach shooting back and seeing more cops coming if the shooter doesn’t die immediately kinda like they have their own wanted level meter
