- There are several places to eat in Maggie Valley NC. We stopped at J Arthur's for an early dinner and enjoyed or meal. Their family has been in the restaurant business for over 80 years (Manero’s on the east coast and Manero’s in Palm City, FL) and they are into their fourth generation of family members providing excellence in food, service, and hospitality to their guests of all ages. We have great memories of visiting Maggie Valley growing up. Maggie Valley, situated in North Carolina's stunning Great Smoky Mountains, is known for its unrivaled location and friendly, small-town character. Do you. remember Ghost Town in the Sky? Now the closed down Ghost Town Village. Nearby, the forested Great Smoky Mountains National Park is home to wildflowers and black bears. Paths include the Deep Creek Trail, which passes waterfalls. Cataloochee Ski Area has slopes and trails. The Wheels Through Time Museum has vintage motorcycles and rare cars. Those cheese "sticks " we're a bit too large to dip so you be ad to cut them .I would rather have have smaller thinner ones you could dip into the sauce like a French fry

Thanks for visiting our home town! We used to eat there often, but haven’t been in a while. The food is a bit pricey as you noted, and the food just ok. Next time you’re over this way, drive the extra 10 minutes to Waynesville and eat at The Sweet Onion.

Thanks for the review! Next time over the mountain we’ll try it. The last two times we were in Maggie Valley we ate at Butts on the Creek. Beautiful screened in porch dining, great food and service, and really reasonable prices.

Thanks for the review. We actually tried to have dinner here, for the first time, this past Saturday. But there was a sign by the door that said there was an hour wait if you didn't have a reservation, so we went elsewhere.

We were just in Maggie Valley on Sunday and went to the stores you had reviewed. Maggie Mountaineer Crafts was our favorite! The ones with the outhouse by a old truck with all the fall decorations. It was a nice trip! Thanks for the time you take to do the reviews and sharing them.

This looks like a nice place. I have to agree about the cheese sticks they would be easier to eat if they were thinner. The chicken and fries looked really good. You would think that a salad or coleslaw would come with the meal instead of being extra.

A really great place! I prefer to dine on the left side where the fireplace is much better. I especially love to go in the fall with all the fall decorations.The decor is world class!🍁🌾🌰🍂🎃

That was a Twinkie sized cheese stick and i don’t mean today’s Twinkie size I’m referring to the big ones of the 70’s. A cheese stick that size is right up our alley.
