Is there a way to dye your beard w/o touching the skin,I mean I started having irritation under my sideburns after my third time getting my facial hair dyed?
Use Vaseline on skin edge... Makes it easier to wipe off and keep your skin dye free.
My goatee is trimmed low. That dye burned the hell out of my chin and caused my skin on my chin to be irritated and white out.

@@misterlexx2721 no problem, i noticed this stuff kind of burnt my chin also while putting it on but not too bad, sometimes thats gonna happen regardless but for sure outline your beard with vaseline so it dont irritate skin or dye it

Awesome tutorial. This just for men stuff is the truth. I made a mistake applying it my first time without reading the instructions. I thought the dye was going to turn the grey hairs black immediately, and was disappointed there was no immediate change when I was brushing it in. So I laid it on THICK. I didn't know I had to wash it off later, so I went to dinner with the fam. When I got home, I looked in the mirror and it appeared that someone had gone crazy with a black magic marker all over my goatee. LOL. Literally looked like someone spray painted my face. I guess my fam decided to be nice and not say anything during dinner because it was super obvious. Luckily I was able to blot most of the excess dye away with wet toilet paper...blotting it off.
Just a tip: a little goes a LONG way. A box should last someone a full year, if not longer. Stuff is absolutely awesome.

For me I find it better if leave the product to turn black first before applying. Then I apply it, wait 5 minutes and rinse off. Lasts way longer this way.
I actually started doing that too, lot of trial and error with this product 😂

You’re welcome. You can only use in the spots you have grays. It depends how much you use and how often but it can last over 2 months

all beard dyes made my beard look unnaturally dark so I ended up bleaching my beard for 5 mins before applying the dye and the result looks perfectly natural

I am bald on top and just have hair on the sides, but I have long sideburns that go down to the bottom of my ear lobes, then jut out toward my mouth. Can I use the hair dye for my side hair AND the burns? Or beard dye on the burns AND side hair? Or do I just have to "bite the bullet" and buy buy a box of dye just for the hair and a separate box of beard dye for the sideburns?

For me around 4-5 days but if you have more greys and if it’s shorter you might have to use more often

I did shed a good amount but it luckily grew back. Thanks for asking.

I don’t wash my face after applying. I apply the minoxidil and that’s it, no washing.

What do you think of products like Control GX? I use it for the hair but I’ve seen a lot of new products that are similar rinse off shampoos that gradually darken the beard

Do you know why it doesn't do anything for me? Is it only meant for grey hairs? I'm not going grey but I want it to be a bit lighter so I tried the light Brown one but it doesn't do anything? I've tried it twice on separate occasions

Use both equally but have it in your beard for less time.

Thank you for the video. I got a cheaper brand of beard dye however this brand only offers black and dark brown ... I was wondering what happens if when combining the color base and color developer I make a mix of 60% color developer and 40% color base (or vice versa) would this cause a dark brown dye to become light brown dye? thank you.
Hello New, as this guy is apparently too rude to answer you I will help you out. Beard dye, no matter which brand comes in two parts, the peroxide (white thick liquid) and the colourant (the colour), usually the peroxide comes in different strengths when you colour your hair 3,6,9 and 12% but the one in beard dyes will be the same strength regardless of the brand. Feel free to mix and match, the peroxide can be mixed with any other colourant it just depends on what colour you want 😊 good luck 😀
P.s also just regarding quantities, always mix equal amounts! 50/50 ☺

@@Dah42 No problem at all 😀 Well thank you very much! ☺ One thing I forgot to mention was don't forget to do the patch test if you're using a new colour brand for the first time, I'm sure you're aware of this but mix a tiny amount of colour up and dab it on the crease of your arm, leave for 24/48 hours and if you have no reaction to the colour you're good to go (google 'beard dye patch test' if unsure)

The less product you use the better. Wash less often.

What if I have my beard trimmed very low, due to lack of patches and things like that, can I still apply carefully without it dying my skin making look totally unnatural? Can I carefully apply to my beard with a light touch with brush hitting the tips of the hairs so I won’t hit skin?
it won't dye your skin if you leave it on for the 5 mins and then you wash your face or take a shower...........

I can't stress enough to do a patch test first with these products. Fortunately I did, because I came out in a hellish itchy rash that lasted over a week.
I tried it but it doesn't make any difference, I've tried 2 bottle now and it looks exactly the same as before. I tried the eyebrowl and beard one which didn't work also

Hey I have some questions... I have full bear that connect but it’s no dense I can still see my skin .. would monoxidil help me get a full dense beard ? And would monoxidil result will stay only as long as you keep using it meaning if you stop results will go away ?
Minoxidil does work on marking beards thicker but the decision is yours. The trick is to use it for more than a year so you can keep all the gains you get. I’ve been using for 1.5 years n I’m now stopping and making a video about it. I’ll let everyone know if I got to keep all the gains or not.

I've been using this product for the past 6 months or so it's just for my goatee and mustache area I take everything out of the box and after I put equal amounts from each tube into the tray I tighten the caps on both tubes to save for the next time
But it never works the next time at all
so I end up throwing it away and getting a new box which works great the first time and I go to try it for the second time about a month later and again it does nothing 😕
Used this product for many years easy to use put it on 5min later jump in the shower you are done. However recently I have developed a strong adverse reaction and I'm not sure but I think they have changed the formula. Now I'm on the search for a non alergic product. To bad because jfm was so simple and they have great colors. Thanks for the video all good except the beard washing.
My husband wants to do his beard, he's a brunet with random read patches in his beard. Only issue is his hair is so coarse he can't give up washing nightly so the color last 😩 we dunno what to do.
P:s and when I say it's COARSE, its to the point he will break out badly with puffy read irritated skin if he doesn't do his routine...

Just a few corrections, Just For Men says to do the skin test area on the inside of your elbow, and it also says in bold that you start the timer after you're done applying, and you can leave it in for up to 10 minutes. Also DO NOT use soap to wash your beard out.

Not really. It’s tough to have a short goatee and keep it died.

I usually don’t make a mess in the sink.

Yes you can use multiple time. It depends on how much you use but over 10 times at least for me.

The thing is, I use this product myself, first day it will look like you colored it, second day as well, but third day it will be natural looking. Make sure your hair on the face is not short.
I only have grey hair on my chin is it ok to only dye the chin or do I dye the whole beard?
You can only dye the chin if you want. It blends pretty nicely

One question - why did you spot test on your forearm instead of your foot or your thigh where the black stain won't be visible?
It’s all up to you on where you want to test but for video purposes the arm was pretty easy
