This was my favorite era of Vince Carter. He was more explosive in Toronto but he developed into a much better overall basketball player in New Jersey.
His very first or even two years in New Jersey he was equally explosive IMO. He was only 27 when traded to NJ, and still had not lost neither velocity nor jump. 27 is an age of physical prime. That explains why he still could average 27 points per game or so his first 2 seasons with NJ, un Toronto he never averaged more ppitns per game.
Bro I'm a big VC fan since I was a younging. When he was in the nets he got better in all and versatile. Beast mode
His numbers say otherwise
@@jameswalker6864 shut up kid go research his stats 😂😂😂he never had 27 a game as a bet he had 28 a game as a raptor
To the blind people who are disagreeing with VC being less explosive with New Jersey. Point to one footage where his head at or above the rim like it was with Toronto
Vince Carter as a Net was my favorite player of all time. He still is my favorite player, but my favorite VC was of him as a Net. Unbelievable highlight plays, dunks and clutch shots. DID YOU SEE VVVV CCCCCCC!!!!
Are you still a nets fan 🔥
This is how many times Alonzo Mourning got dunked on
⬇️
He dunked on him only 3 times though
Kawaii_ Trap it’s a joke smh
Mourning is considered the best shot blocker in the NBA of that era. It was very hard to dunk on him. Even after kidney transplant caused him to come off the bench, he was still always among the league leaders in block shots despite limited minutes.
LoL
@Complete Ultra Instinct Broly good one
Legend! Who else agrees 💯💯💯
So u the famous tiktoker now atleast you kept it real here
Everyone clowns this guy for being in the league for 4 different decades and no rings, you can dominate in so many different ways. Carter is testimony to that 🐐
I have not seen any of this clowning you speak of.
Shit, not everyone wins a title, just the way it is.
Stephen Carmickle ikr
Stephen Carmickle IG Twitter they ruthless there
FYI, you know what decade means? 1 decade is equivalet for 10 years and VC is just 40 something, dont tell me that VC is already playing basketball inside the womb of her mother, commom sense bruh. Stfu 4 decades
Jerome Giangan why you so hurt bro, I’m tryna give props to the man
How many times did this dude dunk on Alonzo mourning lmao
He was the only center that contested him and it didn't work out for him ever
Chrisanity no it wasn’t
@@kingtkillla67 him and mutombo
You can say the same exact thing about Grant Hill lmao Mourning stays getting dunked on. Respect to him because he tried and he's great player
I read this for the first time and the same play he dunks on Alonzo Mourning 😂
Alonzo got posterized a lot here 😂
Angel Lou Poyaoan I was just about to say that
If I'm not not mistaken... He is the most posterized player in NBA history
At first I thought it was Shaq.
Notorious B.I.Z. Not mount mutombo?
@@notoriousb.i.z.5342 I thought that would be Shawn Bradley, the dude got baptized by everyone!
Little known fact, Vince Carter is one of the 5-6 players in NBA history with most game winners.
He was clutch!
Joe Johnson definitely on that list
a lot of spectacular plays from his nets days are missing here...for me still the most video game type of player...huge fan
Vince got loads of clutch shots I just realised
31 game winner for whole career (3rd place in history after kobe and larry bird)
@@SemJ42 Just do not hide that Kobe had 140 FGA to get 36 FGM game winners, the worst % in entire league history
@@SemJ42 where is you take this stats?
more game winners then kobe
Egregious Value Forever Alone nigga who else go take the shot? Nick young? Fisher? Smush Parker? Marcelo Huertas?
The greatest dunker in the history of the NBA!!!~
Matuscara
No. He wasn’t.
Matuscara stop the nonsense
Matuscara you gon tell me after Vince throws down a reverse alley oop like that at 1:35 , Dominique is better? Oh stop it
@Matuscara so you are saying that this 1:35 isn't in game?
🌟🌟Condoooos🌟🌟blusdelacabana
My face is sore from smiling for 9min!
V.C will be a legend soon ,
Blessed to still witness.
Zo is a legend, Period.
As a New Jersey native this was the best version of vince for me 😢
The reason I watched New Jersey Nets game. As a Knicks fan from Jersey, this man was SPECIAL. Congrats on the legendary career, VC. 💪🏼❤️🐐
This should be titled: Alonzo mourning lowlights
Haaaaaaaaaa good one. LOL!!
No one:
No one at all:
Vince Carter: 🤾🏾♂️
Nope,
Everyone: trying to block
VC: dunks
Nicholas Garcia :(((((( poor sarcasm
I miss J.Kidd running the break.. he made everyone around him better
Unpopular opinion: Nets Vince Carter > Raptors Vince Carter
It sucks he didn’t get the recognition he deserved with the Nets. I think the league basically wrote him off once the Toronto stuff went down. It’s unbelievable that Vince only made all NBA two times in his career, pretty sure the voters held the Toronto stuff against him because his numbers were worthy several more times. Raps Vince will always be my favorite but he was an exciting players even into his years with Memphis.
There’s a reason that’s unpopular
VC’s dunk on ALONZO Mourning my god that was just unbelievable still to this day , absolute MONSTER
@@ShukreeRashed23 I think the first one
One of the greatest offensive players of all time. What could he not do?
Well, he's not just an all star, he's a generational talent, and international idol athlete.
Imagine what went through Zo's mind every time he knew they were playing against NJ the next night 😬
He's mentally preparing himself for a new poster.
Vince Carter a human highlight. Simply one of the best in the NBA.
Vince Carter is a certified legend
9:21 "That's why he's an all star." ... you mean that's why he's a Legend!
2:20 that was a sick spin move
I remember seeing that a million times on the intro to 2k6 lmao
2:42 was even cleaner! Jumped from the left and banked it smoothly on the right!
Thats some demar derozan shit
Even the Lakers announcers were “woo-ing” 🤣
@@memetown4369 No, that's some Vince Carter shit
0:48 are we just going to ignore how Kobe tripped like that? 😂 😂 😂
I'm actually crying lmao😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂
like a penguin bro
I'm dying
Yes we are
DID YOUUUUU Seeeeeeeee VC!!!!!! 🐐🔥
Lol that announcer was so enthusiastic anytime Vince Carter shoot. VC!!!!!!!!
One of the all time greats, in terms of his impact on the game and the fan base
Exactly, took my words.
Vince might've been the strongest 2 guard in the league.
Jumper so smooth 👌🏽💧
This is how many seconds he had when he's on air
⬇️
The Master 360 Spin move... VC 👍👍👍
Now this is how you start a Vince Carter reel!!! 💯
Despite his all time great dunks this man just much more to offer. Love this man since 2000
This man deserves at least one ring before he retires... every single nba fan has been excited about seeing his artistic plays over two decades
Most entertaining player ever! Feel sorry for people that didn't get to watch every game
Half-Man Half-Amazing!!!! Thanks for the memories, Vince
Kidd and Carter duo is so dangerous
3:05 That had to be one the most beautiful and fluid shooting form 💯 it looks like Rudy Gays shooting form from 2K11.
Most beautiful shooting form
VINCE CARTER WAS IN CYBORG MODE WITH THE NETS AND FOR THE 22 YEARS OF WITNESSING THE MOST AMAZINGLY FLEETS OF HUMAN BODY ATHLETICISM FROM ANOTHER GREAT GALAXY OF ONE THE MOST ENTERTAINING NBA PLAYERS,,, NBA HALL OF FAMER VINCE CARTER IS AN HONOR 🎖
I was watching the Nets vs. Hawks game, so happy to still see him on the court shooting 3s, love how everyone was cheering for him lol
a lot of people don't talk about Nets Vince Carter aka Half Man Half Amazing this is the best version of VInce Carter
2:40. jesus a 360 layup from one side to the other. that was insane
This right here is the reason why I’m a basketball fan and why I’m a nets fan! Thank you for this! Brings back so much memories! Thank u again 🙏
Thank you VC for all those moments!
The legend!
He better be one of those special all stars like dirk and d wade
He was so clutch
I loved Nets era Vince Carter! Jason Kidd made the game easier for him.
"DID YOU SEE ? VC ?"
VVVVVVVVVCCCCCCCCCC THHHHREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Ppl forget he wasn’t just a great dunker. He was a great all around player, but the real know
I can watch his highlights all day, thanks NBA!
Beng it on Benga ! Priceless !
Alonzo Mourning: exists
Vince Carter: 🤾🏾♂️
I was in high school when he got traded to the nets. I’m from jersey and man was it a treat to go and see him play live. This nets team needs to. E appreciated more
Had more Explosiveness and Flashy Dunks with Toronto but got more buckets in NJY
My Favorite Player of All Time
Without a doubt, Carter was the most spectacular player in the history of basketball. He might not have been the best or the greatest, of course, but he was the ultimate showman with the most aesthetic and explosive moves. Complete, indeed. I think everyone wanted to be an MVP and a GOAT, to become billionaires, but the sheer number of breathtaking plays by VC is truly enviable.
As a Net Vince was REALLY in his bag. Watched every freakin game
Vince really developed some serious range on his jumper.
I think that sometimes people forget that Vince was also a clutch player ( in terms of game winners).
Them reverses and 360 layups were beautiful
Favorite Vince Carter era by far. He OWNED Alonzo Mourning during this time period 😂
Even though it didn't result to an NBA Finals appearance during this era, the Kidd-Carter era in Jersey is still one of the most exciting thing to the franchise other than the Dr. J era and the Kidd era itself. Despite being around in the middle of the pack in attendance during this era, the fans still came to see J-Kidd and Vinsanity play. It's a shame that the timing was wrong because this was around the time the Eastern Conference got better with LeBron James, Dwight Howard and Dwyane Wade turning their respective teams into contenders, the Detroit Pistons terrorizing the East and with Shaquille O'Neal joining the Miami Heat.
They had an amazing team that was built to win. It was just bad timing. Kobe and shaq were monsters
If only they traded Jefferson for a solid big man :-(
1:59 ref’s reaction is priceless
pure greatness .
I remember watching him play in the Nets era. A solid beast 💯💯💯💯
Nets Vince Carter was the goat
Helluva mix, damn!!
Forget Dominique, Vince Carter was the real 'Human Highlight Film".
Вижу Винса Картера жму лайк. Легенда мирового баскетбола!!!
I haven't seen that play at 8.35 for a long time, reverse finger roll - brilliant!!
Can watch his dunks 100 times...still wudnt get old
Half man, half amazing
!
LEGEND.
His ability to close with clutch shots, that's what we really need now on the Brooklyn Nets!!
When Vince Carter was on the nets we got a little bit of everything.
UNA BESTIA ESTE SEÑOR MIS RESPETO IMPARABLE UN CANGURO PARA SALTAR 👍😎
he is a legend
Love how more than half of his plays are assisted by Kidd. The bold men association is just delightful !
Still remember those days when we were both YOUNG!
Nothing less than a masterclass entertainer!
Sometimes I like these more than Toronto. Toronto was out of this world athleticism on display, greatest dunks ever, but this was like masterclass basketball things only he could do. Like these spin layups hanging for 10 seconds are insane...the clutch shots...the timely dunks. Just mastered the game offensively.
Once in a lifetime player!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Proud to be from NJ :D
Seeing this is helping me with depression. Makes me think to a better time in life. The height of VC's athleticism was fun to watch.
So this is how Kidd got all of his assists...
Athletic, big hands, crazy hops.
Living legend
wonderful!my favorite player! no.1 dunk artist! from japan
Mama, there goes that man. Lol
I think people forget how good Carter was. To me, he was the best dunker to play in the league.
That game when first went bac to Canada he was crazy clutch that was a crazy ass game
Underated clutch shooter.
Legendary
Vince Carter is the best in game dunker in the history of the NBA barnone.the goat.
One of the best trades in Nets history. Got a HOF in his prime for squat.
Damn…. He was even more athletic than Kobe and T mac… look at the way he jumped and moved in the air. Are you kidding me !!! Kobe and T-Mac were very athletic gifted players in our generation. But freaking VC took it to another level.
Definitely not. Kobe was far quicker and explosive. Carter was slow, but had a powerful leap
@@Antonio-ev4gx after the injury sadly but he was quick and explosive too especially his first step check his rookie year
Legend
carter will always be my bias
2:17 even the Lakers announcer was pumped up on that play. Wow!
