This dude epitomized the phrase "the real fuckin' deal". As raw and natural a blues talent if ever there was one. It's like an Otis Rush meets Albert & Freddie King meets Fats Domino meets Joe Cocker meets T-Bone Walker meets ... whoever. A truly reflective lover of the blues. I get on these Sean Costello kicks for days, and I can't seem to avoid the feeling of sorrow. Because he left us with what he have us. And what he gave us was the desire to hear more.
Sean was truly the real deal. I actually avoid listening because of the same feeling. Every once in a while I have to listen because it's so damn good. Huge loss when he died.

Mr Pearson, guitar players are interested in the technique of a great player: that's why we are interested in the way he used his right hand. He was amazing and I can't comprehend that I wasn't aware of a talent of this magnitude.
