Can't stop laughing about the cinnamon 😂 lets just pretend for a couple of mins that this could work for some, cinnamon, tick, blowing it in your door to bring things in, tick. Maybe, with the right intention. I work on the rule you do you, boo. However, I put that wirchcraft documentary on a few months ago and the in the opening credits she was blowing cinnamon out of the door. I rolled my eyes and turned it off 😂
You can always sprinkle turmeric on your doormat if you fancy having a bright yellow doormat.
I feel this counts as a "life hack". (Also, laughing quite a lot here!)
I've been dyeing my naturally dirty blond hair dark brown/black for years now and your tip of making sure to color your eyebrows to match gave me a good laugh! I actually dye my hair to match my very heavy, very black eyebrows haha
Mine are so pale I look like a Harkonnen from the new Dune movie! Not a good look. I love the idea of paler hair and darker brows - I have friends with that combination and it looks fab! I bet you look great!
I always said Terry knew more about real witches than many who have written books on the Craft. I give off more Granny Ogg vibes, sans the drinking, but I am Granny Weatherwax at heart.
I've always said the same. I was lucky enough to have met him a few times, and we shared some mutual friends who characters were based on. I knew one of the original sources for Granny, and she was a very impressive person!
Now, i do overall agree with what you are saying, especially on the memes, but i do actually gift spices to the folk on occasion, precisely because they are not from here, they are something that are precious to me. Sprinkling it on the floor for luck?... Yeah not so much😁

That makes absolute sense! You are gifting something precious with intent. That is perfect. Blowing it all over the floor with no understanding because FB tells people to is the thing that winds me up! I often gift the Fair Folk dried fruit in winter because it is more scarce in a natural landscape - which seems to be exactly the same thing :-). So I 100% agree!
I agree with you 100% but maybe in historic times, they put locally grown wild herbs on the floor to freshen and prevent insects, and now that cinnamon is common and smells very nice, it has been substituted? Or maybe someone just made it up😂
Strewing herbs were not ritually-significant, they were there to sweeten the loose reeds that acted as floor coverings. It's impossible to find mention of the cinnamon thing any earlier than 20 years or so ago - however, I'd be fascinated if people found information I didn't have!
Are we really surprised there are people who rely in fb memes given so many today are disinclined to read anything longer than a Tweet? Back in the 90s, there were "IRABs" (I Read A Book), i.e. those who had read whatever was the latest pop culture soft cover fluff from Llewellyn and now were venerable masters of ancient wisdom. In hindsight, I tip my sorting hat to them - at least they were willing to read something meatier than a gif. 😂
IRAB!?! I'd never heard that! i adore it! Because it's spot on. Bloody cinnamon over bloody doorways. FFS. Drives me insane. Llewellyn are all well and good, but one "Pagan Portal" book does not make someone Doreen Valiente. (Having said that, I bought a Kerry Wisner book at the weekend that I can't wait to start, so I probably fall into the "IRAB" group to some degree.....)

Thank you for sharing your path. On my path I was strongly influenced by housemates in a shared place where one was "born again Christian" and one as "born again Pagan." I decided that I despised proselytizing in any form and was turned off by the politics in Wicca at that time. To that end I respect my Wiccan friends but that will never be my path.
I hate that preachy tone, no matter where it is applied. We are all free to find our own truths. And honestly, one of the Nazarene's teachings that did actually stay with me was, "There are many rooms in my Father's house", which I've always interpreted as "all faiths are paths to a true and unknowable Divinity." That being said, chucking cinnamon over your doorstep is still bollocks.
I never comment on videos, but this one popped up in my recommended and I've just got to say I'm loving your personality, humour and down-to-earth vibe! You have another subscriber, and deserve many more :)

They are not the same in fat content but there are dryer lipliners that are annoyingly dry! And those are good for brows.
I use hair dye on my brows and it’s very nice when you are a redhead. My best advice there is go for gradient on you brow color. So the color on the brow on the tails are a bit darker than the “head” or “chest”. It lifts the brow and you look even more awake 👻🍄🐌🖤
Anything that makes me look more awake is good....
My otherwise excellent husband regularly sprinkles precious things like cinnamon and lavender tea on our floor - not magic, just incompetence... He is as unimpressed as I am, and yes, sweeping it up is a pain 😂
Just think how VERY PROTECTED YOU ARE! I manage to regularly throw my dinner down the front of any clean shirt I'm wearing, so maybe I'm doing some kind of unwitting spellwork with my bolognaise sauce?
