- Machacandole un poco al control, hice tiempo para que el Schwarzgeist sacara todo lo que puede hacer y con la finalidad de mostrarle a mis amigos el mejor Jefe que mas me gusta en los videojuegos, espero les guste, es del juego Einhander.

I came here for the nostalgia...to remember a fight that haunted me as a kid because I could NEVER beat it (had to get my brother to do it). Imagine my horror when, sixteen years later, I'm going for my platinum run on KH3 when this guy pops up! I wasn't expecting this guy to come back into my life the way he did...but damn it was a good time.
This was our Dark Souls back in the day. The dopamine hit when I finally beat this one was insane.

It's so good that this game wasn't forgotten. I had to pause it when it popped up in Kingdom Hearts 3 and rejoice that one of my favourite games still lives on in the hearts of Square employees. And with the same appearance AND music AND same attack patterns. All exactly the same. Thank you Square. The people who comment in certain videos on UA-cam are the people I want to meet, like this video for example. Only true Square fans would have played KH3 and been surprised when the Schwartzgeist popped up with the same appearance, same music, same moves, and then come here to listen to the original trade. These are the people I want to meet but we're all behind computer screens
RIP Final Fantasy characters, tho.
Dude I got so excited when I saw Hyperion in KH3 (Hyperion, Schwartzgeist...we all have our preferences). They did it justice with the attacks AND THE FREAKING MUSIC! Oh and the difficulty -_-

I played Einhander almost daily in highschool. When I unlocked the special ships on my no hit run I was floored. I just wanted to listen to the soundtrack the whole way through without stopping. I got all the S bonuses and unlocked every weapon. I never unlocked the whole gallery somehow. It was my favorite game on the system. Now games are just a way to get subscriptions and microtransactions. It's sad that even videogames have run their course. Maybe there is hope in the indie scene.
I'd never even heard of this game until Kingdom Hearts 3. I think it's cool that Square decided to add in something from an extremely obscure title.

@@afriking256 it's an optional boss, and getting the ship based off the Einhander is very easy if you know what to do

The thing I love about this battle is at this moment, the battle between einhander and the strategm weapon, it's a fight between THEM. Even though both their location is the moon, einhander is fighting to protect and prevent the weapon from destroying everything. And the strategm sees einhander as a threat rather than a thorn in its side. It's salvation vs permanent destruction
2:10 - 2:19 was my favorite part, really showed how much skill was involved, even dodging the rotating wing of the ship.

You get two ships from this guy if you beat him in Kingdom Hearts III: the Schwartzgeist itself, which packs an incredible offense, though severely lacks in defense and the Golden Highwind, a larger, stronger and faster version of the Highwind Peak.
I want more Square title references in KH games. I don't care where or how. Surprise me 😂

I beat this thing on KH3 yesterday. I only realised today it was from an original PS1 game.

nah, this ain't to bad, i would almost throw my controller on the sub-boss submarine section to get a S-Bonus Point and that tiny sh*t does a bulletstorm and he is a micro-juno. So frustrating lol

This game looks real fun, but...also near impossible.
I highly recommend it if you can find it. Easy difficulty isn't too bad, Medium is challenging, and well this video is a good representation of Hard difficulty

@@Naitoraven951 i remember when i played Einhander, Granade was the weapon to stagger boss and do heavy damage, to bad it was very slow to shoot, a excellent all-rounder weapon but also very rare is Juno, very fast very powerful, but a boss finisher is Cannon or Granade. This is literally my favourite game, between all i've encountered, i very good reminder that 80s and 90s games aren't for the faint of heart and the difficulty sometimes are punishing

jajajaj pero asi no se puede disfrutar el momento!! la música!!! creo q me emocioné mucho cuando apareció y me kedaba admirando al miniboss....recuerdo q lo deje disparar mucho...por suerte lo derroté ...sólo una vez me ha salido ese bonus.

@Thermosphere13 buen punto, en mis intentos por conseguir la nave selene, siempre usé el unknown fighter type I, xq como sabrás, llegando al nivel 20 el modo de disparo es útil e ilimitado, el problema sq siempre perdia n el nivel 5, y como el disparo de nivel 1 está bien cajeta, pues terminaba perdiendo más vida, ahorita tengo un play 2 q no sé xq no quiere agarrar el disco, pero cuando pueda, definitivamente volveré a intentarlo, gracias x la aclaración

@jeabl Einhander es el mejor shooter que he visto y marco mi vida jaja, en especial la musica, compre el ost por inter en japon, cheka el album "ARRANGED" que subi en mi canal, saludos, gracias por tu comentario. Ah y para combatir con esa otra nave tienes que vencer al Satellite justo cuando habre uno de los compartimientos de arriba, a mi me salio de suerte.

Ese jefe era mi mas grande pesadilla en todo el juego tenia que tener extremo cuidado si quería durar en es batalla y aun me costaba trabajo vencerlo es mas tenia que destruirle la cabeza para no enfrentarme a esa medusa espacial pero tu lo haces parecer muy fácil

Thermosphere ( el tema xD ) es muy bueno, esa batalla me encanta también. Sobretodo pork yo también logré eso, que al derrotar al jefe salga algo más para combatir y una nueva música !!....aunk no sé exactamente cómo lo hice, fue en normal, y recuerdo q ese minijefe no era tan sencillo como en el video xD...o será q yo sólo tenía vulcan. Einhänder es belleza pura.
I know square still remembers einhander, he showed up in kingdom hearts 3 and also was a boss fight in World of Final Fantasy Maxima
To bad they don't make a second Einhander or a remake, because this game deserve a graphic overhaul instead of a new installment. This game was perfect and short, so the replayability was encouraged to get more ships and more weapons

Did you know?: after you beat the Schwarzgeist is KH3 you can get the following gumi-ships: Golden Highwind and...... THE SCHWARZGEIST ITS SELF!!!!! PLUS THE EINHANDER AS A MINI-SHIP!!!!! (the ship you play as is mini ship just incase you didn't know what i was talkin about.) Its like winning the lottery

Charles Urban from what I remember it was something like that. The people in the moon didn’t want you to realize the ones on earth weren’t so different from them. They didn’t expect you to survive for so long.

Because the Einhander team were the ones who worked on the Gummi Ship section of the game.
@@argetlam350 Einhänder is an obscure game for the PS1. With this guy appearing in a popular franchise I bet the game will have more attention.
You can use a Gummi Ship based on the Endymion. At that point, it'd be criminal if they didn't add this boss. Hell, if you use the Endymion to fight Schwartzgeist, this exact version of Thermosphere plays, and not the KH remix of it.

nunca pude conseguir la nave selene, siempre perdia en el quinto nivel, nunca entendí exactamente como se saca; no se puede perder un continue o no se puede perder ni una vida???

After such a perfect fight it's still a 0 for the boss repulse time? How could you possibly win even faster than that?
Considering the difficulty he's on and the fact that he's using one of the weakest weapons in the game he sure took a long time. Presumably to allow for the theme to play as long as possible. You can down this thing in seconds with the proper loadout.
Took so long to kill this thing.
In this and KH3..
The Barrier is an excellent choice for fighting this guy. It wards off its missiles, multiple cannons and the protective Shield Lasers it occasionally activates. The only thing it doesn't block is the curtain-like lasers that appear in fixed positions.

He’s using the hidden ship Astraea MkII. It gives 9999 ammo on equipped weapons. In order to unlock it you need finish the game on Hard without using more than 3 continues.
