When my friend first told me that a boss from Einhander was in this game, i couldn't believe it. but after he showed me the secret trophy (the only thing i've been spoiled on this game so far and the one spoiler i'm 100% happy with) and seeing this video is just....oh man, in all my years never would i think an Einhander reference would make it into a Square game after so many years since it's release, also i want that Thermosphere remix, so goooooood
I expected just the Endymion gummy ship, but also got a Schwarzgeist boss battle with remixed Thermosphere theme, and even the small "jellyfish" drone that was a secret bonus in the original Einhänder, with also its original battle theme... I fucking love you, S-E!!!
Damnit, game...you forced me to custom build a Gummi Ship. Seriously, I got careless and blown up just as I was on the last energy bar and I ranted and raged and raved...before I forgot I had installed Auto-Life. (Phew)
There was no need for that, the game does give you a ship for free, that any skilled pilot can use to easily defeat this thing, if you know where to look. _(I'm talking about the constellation that awards you the Endymion ship.)_
Yes, yes it is. Same dev team was hired to design the gummi ship components, so they were allowed to put in some elements from their prior work. Neat, huh?
Maybe that's the problem. You kill it so fast and you don't get the points of many enemies protecting the ship. You need certain amount of points to get an A.
@@xordyy I spent hours trying to just destroy the components that act as a shield for it. I wouldn't even shoot unless they were there so that I wouldn't damage the boss much, yet even then I spent nearly 20 minutes doing just that in one attempt... I gave up on this days ago. I did 100% of everything else this game had to offer, but this...
@@Virtual_Vex In fact, I haven't tried to get an A. I got a B first time I killed it, and once I got the golden highwind, didn't try again and I went for Omega to finally obtain the last orichalchum+ I needed in order to get the platinum trophy. It's a hard boss indeed. But I recommend to create a miniship with just 4 gumi squares, a meteo gun, and a piro++.
Sailor Mercury try this auto life if you need it and build a ship that has 200 speed and use only orange weapons for damage since they are the most accurate also try to keep at least 20 power so you deal some damage if not get your gummi level to max and make an OP ship

I completely lost it when this boss showed up. I was so damn happy.
This boss requires a Speed rating of 200, in case you're wondering why you can't access it.

Do you have to beat the game 1st I have a speed of 214 and there is a wall stopping me from Reaching the boss
any idea why I cant get through with 250 speed? I've beaten the game and my ship is lvl 51.
