My heart goes out to Mr Ruggiano, especially when he spoke about being torn between cooperating and keeping the oath. Brought a tear to my eye. Great advice on this show for the young people. I grew up on the street and was heading towards that bottomless pit back in the 70's (I'm 64) it was only through sheer luck and circumstance that I was able to get away. I had an accident and injured myself which required months of convalescing. Basically the crew I was hanging out with forgot about me. When I recovered I got a full time job and also got into music and acting. Had I not had that accident, I don't know if I would be here typing this comment right now. Thank you Michael Franzese for Sharing these stories and your life with us. Although I sometimes disagree with you, I always find myself coming back to listen to what you have to say. Looking forward to the next sit down.

@@antoniom.1321 With all due respect to your comment, how do you know I'm not a murderer? I had a rough past and I was able to lift myself out of it. I never hid my past either. If it hadn't been for the compassion, empathy and kindness of good people I probably would have gone back to that life. People do change. But only if given a chance. Isn't that what rehabilitation is about? I also know there are some people who will never change and are evil and need to be put away forever. But for those who sincerely want to change and can make a difference for our youth of the future, we must put aside our judgements and criticisms and give a helping hand. Otherwise we're just going around in a vicious circle.

Great interview. I grew up in the life here in Canada which is hugely infested in Organized Crime not only me but all my friends I grew up with had someone in their family that was in the Mafia. If your young and have these friends or your running a crew get out the life cause prison sucks. Love this Show
There needs to be an organized Seminar / Interview in Las Vegas, where a selected group of ex Wiseguys sit , talk, and answer questions properly done by a celebrity host. The people that purchase a ticket to see this get an authentic Italian dinner with wine, homemade bread, pasta. etc. They could even get a New York , New Jersey, or Chicago Comedian open up the show. Guys like Dice, Sebastian Maniscalco, Mike Marino, or Vic Dibitetto being a part of it - I'm telling ya, this would be HUGE.

What a great sit-down this is so good for young people involved in wayward ways to look at two old Wise guys that at one point in time were very serious players and to see the emotion especially the raw emotion from Anthony when he speaks about his father, you guys are people too and we only have one life and I come in both these men for making it through and being able to spread the word.
Haven’t finished watching this yet, but I don’t want it to end! Compelling viewing, very real. No pretension of being top dog and bragging, just telling it as it was.

It makes me happy seeing Michael's face light up when speaking to someone from the past. I can see that he is happy to still see them doing better and out of the life.
Something I notice with the real ex-wiseguys as opposed to the wannabes and never-weres: these guys have so many smiles and laughs when they talk. Often just the mention of somebody's name will bring on a bunch of smiles and good memories. The other guys spend so much time trying convince how tough and close to the inside they were but never have a good thing to say or an intimate funny story about anyone they supposedly knew.

Mr Franzese, thank you very much you have wonderful content and I wish you continued success I was in the Marine Corps for 6 years as an infantry machine gunner I even did some time in Beirut. When I got out I started working at a bar it's a bouncer I believe it was a mob bar the owner I'm in by the name of Bobby fusco took a liking to me, I kept my mouth shut I was very respectful did what I told to do and I had some skills from the Marine Corps he had a crew of guys that hung around another bar he owned they started taking me out on small jobs legitimate jobs nothing illegal I think they might have been trying to groom me to join them but I got away from them I knew it was coming
You guys definitely deserve a good life and a happy life I know some bad was done or whatever but you know damn well y’all are the rarest of exceptions because there’s only a handful of people with your caliber left in the world and you are obviously here for some reason and it’s got to be for a positive reason and I hope you guys prosper with your second chances in life and I thank you both for your honesty
The absolute best interview, it was like we sat in on a one on one dinner talk between these guys. Needed more time and a couple stories told are definitely received in sopranos … like Pauly walnuts seeing carmine and he says “ya father got ran over by a trolly” just like his grandfather was.

Anthony Great Guy helped me to get clean when i spent my time in florida. Was there about 3yrs totally got to know him pretty well and at one point was my counselor and then eventually i got a job at that rehab.

With so much drama on social media which is unappealing its so fascinating and appealing to see this 2 gentleman talk about their lives from a negative time to how far they have come and the tug of war between what they knew growing up and was instilled in them to the changes of life choices into what they become today. One thing i was always told by my own father when my decisions were negative and im sure Michael can relate...when your not right with God nothing works out, when you get right with him your life will prosper.

Mr Franzese, thank you very much you have wonderful content and I wish you continued success I was in the Marine Corps for 6 years as an infantry machine gunner I even did some time in Beirut. When I got out I started working at a bar it's a bouncer I believe it was a mob bar the owner I'm in by the name of Bobby fusco took a liking to me, I kept my mouth shut I was very respectful did what I told to do and I had some skills from the Marine Corps he had a crew of guys that hung around another bar he owned they started taking me out on small jobs legitimate jobs nothing illegal I think they might have been trying to groom me to join them but I got away from them I knew it was coming

I grew up in PA. Just over from New Jersey. We loved hearing these guys talk and even back then, these guys, they were "larger than life"!!

The absolute best interview, it was like we sat in on a one on one dinner talk between these guys. Needed more time and a couple stories told are definitely received in sopranos … like Pauly walnuts seeing carmine and he says “ya father got ran over by a trolly” just like his grandfather was.

Anthony Great Guy helped me to get clean when i spent my time in florida. Was there about 3yrs totally got to know him pretty well and at one point was my counselor and then eventually i got a job at that rehab.

With so much drama on social media which is unappealing its so fascinating and appealing to see this 2 gentleman talk about their lives from a negative time to how far they have come and the tug of war between what they knew growing up and was instilled in them to the changes of life choices into what they become today. One thing i was always told by my own father when my decisions were negative and im sure Michael can relate...when your not right with God nothing works out, when you get right with him your life will prosper.
