A Bronx Tale is a classic.
it's based on Chazz Palminteri's life. He wrote it himself.
True American masterpiece

One can't help but be reminded of that iconic line in A Bronx Tale. "The saddest thing in life is wasted talent." I wish him the best...

He didn’t listen to his reel dad & went the wrong way. 😕

My favorite scene is the end scene where he is saying his goodbyes to Sonny, looks down on him, touches his forehead, and says, “Wasted talent.”
That’s such a powerful scene. Great movie. Saw it yesterday for the first time.
I get the vibe that he's being as honest as he can with Michael, here. It makes me respect him, cause he ain't trying to make excuses, only explain himself. I wish him the best going forward

Everyone edits the version of their own lives into the ground. Unavoidable.
Yep cop killer but it shows you the power of celebrity, people are willing to overlook even cold blooded murderers, his career is over he has no choice to pretend to go straight and change his old ways.
Me too. He's so humble.
“Now yous can’t leave” 👊💥 ... so satisfying 😌
Facts 💯 that line was powerful
Incredible line
@@jds3068 very true. Was a great scene lol
Chazz Palmintieri is, in my humble opinion, the heart and soul of "A Bronx Tale". The whole movie revolves around him and his personality is beyond dynamic. He plays his role, the good and bad of it, so convincingly that it draws you into it. He's such a cool guy.
Okay 🙄. That’s like saying Joe Pesci is the heart and soul of Goodfellas.
@@franklopez7019 "in his humble opinion" Opinions are subjective and chazz did play a pivotal role in the film, so, childish emojis aside, the actor WAS the heart and soul of that movie, for him. Why have adults been reduced to using cartoon like symbols in place of words? It's so fucking retarded.
I agree. Chaz is an absolute legend & a total gentleman.
@@franklopez7019 Not really, in Goodfellas Joe didn't bring any charisma and likability to the table, and Chazz did that with Bronx Tale.
It's chazz story he wrote it. It's ALL him.
The scene where Chazz (Sonny) drives backward to the club is the best scene ever. There are actually a lot of scenes in this movie that I love.
That was real Bronx Italian Gangster stuff back then
They were 1 way streets. Rather than go around the block we would all back up to get down the block more quickly.

too bad he is more than just a drug addict. He's also a cop killer. He should still be locked up
You can tell he has a big heart.
His actions got a cop killed.
Lillo carries it like a Man. We all fall at some point in our life, it's about how we get up & dust ourselves off and move forward.
Lillo is an impressive guy & genuine. Bona Fortuna, Lillo.
We all fall but we don't get involved in the death of an off duty cop
I was so obsessed with Bronx tale that I started questioning girls I was with at the time if they didn’t unlock my door hahaha.. for real ✌️
Nice to see recovery in action, well done lillo
Love that, door scene it stuck with me
But now what needs to happen is A Bronx tale 2 what became of the characters today stay married to decorate a separate ways. It'll be interesting storyline
MIXTA-B MARVELOUS MIC, I actually had that happen to me in real life. I was giving a platonic female friend a ride. Went to the passenger side of the car and unlocked and opened the door for her. Went around the back and saw her unlock my door, because of the movie. When I got in, we talked about it. I told her she should share that with her buddy, my wife at the time. Common courtesy is lacking in this society and this country. Another female I was randomly talking to said, " My grandfather told me it doesn't cost anything to be kind." What a STATEMENT!! I said to her that her grandfather is a wise man. God bless all.
Me and my friends did as well... jokingly of course. We had watched the movie on DVD at my house on my 46" projection TV when we were probably about 18 years old. We'd use "the move" to test chicks... I wanna say at least 1 of them passed if I remember correctly. I went on a date and she opened my door. Didn't marry her, still single at 41 by choice, but it's a fun memory.

Me and my cousins were crushed when we knew that Lillo was put in jail. Since we see him in "A Bronx tale" we considered him as a one of our own. I'm so happy to see him back.
When Dinero tells young "C" that the hard working dad is the tough guy, gets up everyday and works for his family, it broke my heart.. his son was too young to understand the underworld he inevitably dives into..slaps him and then hugs him...thought of my son who is only 6...Bravo to that scene and movie overrall!
“Ya gotta hide me Richie, I’m wit you now”
I'll HELP you!!⚾️🏏
"WHO TOLD YOU TO DO THAT?!"
LOOOL I think that's the funniest scene in Sopranos.
What's funny is that his character could have easily avoided death by simply blaming his friend who shot at Christopher (who Christopher killed).
His was the one who started shooting, he could have just said that he started shooting back too when Christopher kept shooting simply out of fear and that he did not know that his friend was planing to shoot Christopher. And just reacted out of fear of Christopher when he kept running.
Christopher might have coroborated his story afterwards, since he also saw that it was the other guy who started shooting, and Christopher could have said that he might have been right, since he kept shooting at both of them once the bullets started flying :P
@lockstam Exactly. The Skip never would've bought that story. Haha
"Now you's can't leave." Great scene.
My Mama loved "A Bronx Tale" and empathized with the Gangster and the father because they both taught Cologero about life and how harsh it can be if you don't make the right choices. She cried for Lilo!

Thats kind of sad. You like a movie but don’t agree with someone’s opinions on anything (politics aside) and now that movie isn’t good to you. You can’t enjoy it?? Hahaha that’s pathetic.
I’m a Yankees fan and love Paul O’Neil and he’s a Trump supporter. And I don’t like Trump and still like O’Neil and it doesn’t affect my feelings on the Yankees teams and championships he was a part of.
Those who let politics affect their opinion on anything outside of that is just weak , sad, pathetic, and doesn’t make sense.
And honestly, those who let it, usually fall into a specific mindset and follow a specific party. The one that claims everyone else is triggered easily not offended easily and then get all up in their feelings over an entertainers view points and how that ruins movies they’ve liked. That seems triggered. That seems to offensive. And again it’s sad.
