Hey Raxx, I am severely disabled, Ive had to stop playing so many games because my hands are so bad now it makes playing impossible. You mentioned this spec a few days ago and I gave it a go. I've been playing it ever since and having a huge amount of fun. Also been playing typhon hydra/blizzard, which is also easy to play and also a ton of fun. Thank you, I never played a Wizard before.
@@finn4435 I always played a necro before, pet spec or bone armour, as few buttons as possible. I havent played for 3 seasons or so as even that was getting a bit much to play for longer periods.

how do you stay alive with this build reliably? sometimes I tp into pack and get oneshotted before getting charges with explosive blast, or just get oneshotted in general, it has to be my skill issue, but dunno how to improve this aspect :D ty for the great build!
HI, Raxx. Thanks for all you do. I'm 75 and housebound; I began playing the original Diablo with my about 25 years ago, and we both graduated to D2, then D3. Then I ported over to WOW and played that for a few years, but when I became housebound I came back to D3 and have pitched my tent there. The first Wizard I played was Firebird, but I kind of stalled with it. Tried Necro and got along but realizedd that Wizard is my home. I very much like your Meteor build, though I am still progressing and don't have everything yet. I am at GR 21 and P245, so not bad for an old codger. I have the full Typhon set (Haedrig's Gift) with a diamond in the helm; II use Halo of Karini (w/ Storm Armor) and Stone of Jordan (no socket yet), Grand Vizier (also no socket yet) and Flame Hydra instead of Explosive Blast, partly because I'm comfortable with Hydras, they give me a lot of flexibility, and synergize well with Meteor/Comet. Plus they have no latency and no cooldown so I can throw both repeatedly. I have Primordial Soul, Magistrate and Golden Gorget of Leoric (nothing better yet) in the Cube. I can only play about 3-4 hours a day because of my back, haven't taken any equipment damage for about 7 hours so there you are. Your vids, especially this one, have brought me a lot of new enjoyment, so thank you again. If you have any suggestions or comments I would welcome them. If not, keep on keeping on.
I literally started two days ago, and am already pushing high rifts. Now I see this build and think back to all the ancient items I’ve salvaged that are all needed here 😂
I don't know if anyone else has said but the reason you keep getting stuck and not teleporting is that you're getting stuck on small map parts and it's trying unsuccessfully to teleport you to a place you can't get to. Last season I did basically the same movement build as this but with the Monk's Dashing Strike, and it worked the same way. When you have a wide open space you fly through it in fractions of a second, but as soon as you hit a map with bends and turns you can Teleport/Dashing Strike half a dozen times into a wall or a small, untraversable part of the map and waste a few seconds. I've noticed that when you're moving that fast it's really hard to turn, so if you hit a curvy area you're basically guaranteed to waste your entire In Geom because trying to move that fast while curving is a fool's errand. Moving your cursor really close to your character so your teleports are really close together helps a bit, but since you're going so fast it doesn't really do that much.
Wow, I'll be honest I usually am great with coming up with speed variants on my own for wizard and saving to your Maxroll planner - infact used what's now only becoming popular in Thunder Crash variant like day 1 on PTR for S27 but this combo completely skipped my experimenting radar so props to Rob and you for highlighting this, super satisfyingly sick speed! *Mind-blown*

Amazing build, really fun, fast paced and powerful, so kudos to Rob for designing it, and thanks to you for presenting it! :) Quick question.. since this is meant to deal damage mainly at close range (in fact we switched to Audacity instead of Power Hungry), and since you said it does benefit from more CDR, would it not make sense to switch Zei's to Gogok? Or is the damage bonus from Zei's for even that short distance still better? Thanks Raxx and keep up the great content! :)
So I read that even at melee range - Zei's will still round up, so the damage is higher than you think! Of course for t16 if you dont need the damage you can always run something else!

Was using Wudijos Guardians/Aughilds/TR setup to speedfarm GRs in 60seconds.. this does it in the same time but with 1/4 of the effort. Such a nice build. I also like the beat of the chain reaction goin boom-boom-boom the whole time :D
I got my D4 Sorc to 100 today and I didn’t have any fun doing it or much fun after as endgame Sorcs are very dull. I went back to D3 and I am attempting this build and having so much fun. Blizzard bring back fun to Diablo.
im glad this popped up. way back when I played a EB talrasha build that was my favorite farming build ever. I was considering coming back to the game for this season(its been prob 10 seasons) so seeing this takes alot of the worry about optimizing it with everything that has changed since then
If you don't have In Geom, Messerschmidt's Reaver is a potential alternative until you can get one. I have used it on my monk and the Dashing Strike teleport spam was real. Not sure if it will work as well for this build though as it is a 2-handed axe and you would need to sacrifice using that off-hand.
Great video and thx. Only problem I have with In-Geom is that there are too many rifts and greater rifts with few elites far apart from each other and too many poor maps with long, winding corridors etc. So i end up using a speed build with Aether Walker instead.

Like 'Boerboel Mummy', though from sounds of it not as bad, I have difficulty playing too being 70. Soon as I saw your title 'brain dead' I just had to give it a go! I am a tad slow off the mark and fingers full of arthritis, they can get quite sore. This is a wonderful build and have been enjoying my Wizard flying around the place like a pro and so enjoy seeing the mobs dieing when all the meteors land and my fingers not getting sore at all. Thanks so much! My partner and I have been keen gamers for many years and it's getting harder now but refuse to stop until we can't see the screen anymore lol.
Thank Raxx. I was using similiar version but instead of stone of jordan was using rorg to squeeze guardian set( i did put squirt in cube and i'm wearing set neck) and using tp wand. Been smashing 100-110 close to 90-120s. It might be better for lower paragons since guardian is op(have like 1k paragon and few augs). But i'm getting to like your braindead version. just tried this build. Damage is amazing, and once you get it going its a lot of fun. But before that, it is frustrating as hell as I keep dying all over the place. edit: nvm, key thing is to increase your health to about 800k or over.
At aprox.8:00, I'm assuming Raxx misspoke, as the meteor casts don't need to hit anything to reset the Teleport (teleport in the place where the floor is lava, aka a town, and mash meteor. Won't hit anything, but Tele gets it's reset proccs). Great vid, and a fun build, though 😁
Aether Walker pretty much accomplish the same thing. Except you can start spamming teleport the moment you enter the rift and doesn’t rely on elites hunting
90% sure you need the in-geom for spamming explosive blast, which is why this does so well. AW's probably better for bounties, but IG definitely feels like the best option for GRs. Also AW has a longer teleport max recast than IG does, and takes resources which IG doesn't.
@@AtomicArtumas idk, I can get gr 110 done in about 2-2:30 depending on the map with only 1k p using the AW build. Seems just as fast and a bit easier to play. But i will give this build a try and see for myself
I play AE and it feels really fast an chill. I just hold down right mouse button (for meteors) and spam 3 (teleport) For ressources I use the helm in cube that gives 30% rcr (forgot the name). P1000 and can do 110s in 1.5-2m consistently and only press one button aswell
yea, AW lightning build with cubed squirt does this way better. equip aguhild helm/shoulder and guardian belt/bracer. way less effort, even more dmg then this clunky explo blast , relying on Ingeom :p
This is nice, but I don’t like relying on the elite packs. Aerher Walker gives infinite teleports and with the resource on crit this season + some other resource saving add-ons you can do the same thing at the very start of the rift.
This is EXACTLY what I needed bro. I just finally got my Tal's complete and it's slow. I was just on my way over to Maxroll to see if I should be using Aether Walker or something, but I checked my bells and you had a new video out and it just so happened to be for my character. Could've have came at a better time :D
Been doing tals all season so far. Finally got around to doing the T10 in 45 seconds with just the regular gear and paragon 750ish. It's doing GR100's in about 2.5 minutes from the seasonal stuff. All in all a very OP set.
thx for sharing, this is a really fun build! It works even with junk gear! Will greatly help speed farming keys. Like you said and showed: kill elite, hold 1 and 2 and spam 3 sometimes throw a meteor if needed and hope to find another elite before the cooldown resets go away. I even forgot to swap out Karini for SoJ too lol.
Thanks! Great stuff Raxx. Rolling this and trying it on now. The Maxroll link shows a Zei's (range) in the build. Are you using an Esoteric or maybe BoS instead? It doesn't seem so squishy it requires Esoteric.
I am a first responder and a vet. I have fellow veteran friends that have disabilities with their hands...or their hands are totally missing and they have prosthetic hands. This build actually lets them play with their good hand with a gaming mouse! In fact. I would challenge Maxroll to try and come up with more builds like this for other characters. They use one hand and use the Numlock trick with the other abilities :-) No one has really ever tried to come up with a library of literally one handed builds! Basically optimized the best they can be to play with one hand. Obviously they might not be top tier, but pretty close :-) Its not that players are lazy, there is a wide range Diablo 3 base (soon D4) audience that are disabled....including veterans. Food for thought :-)
This reminds me of Bombsader before Bliz nerfed them. You could get your cooldown to almost zero and be bombarding the map constantly, it was my favorite Crusader and favorite class while I lasted.
Neat. I started this build up last night. Well the previous video’s build in maxroll. I had already swapped in the ring change. I don’t like CoE so just the SoJ. And it has been much better. I’ll have to try the lightning rune route as well.
This build crushes GRs. After I finished the Alter (not all the potions yet) I'm running with an Aether build at GR-11O just to farm primals. So fast and satisfying to do sub 2 min rifts (except the part where I still don't have a primal after 10+). RNG!!!
Rax I PM you ingame about the Zei Stone. Is it still relevant in this build or would be better replaced by a different Legendary Gem? By the way thanks a lot for all the things you do for D3 community.
This reminds me of the Firebird Explosive Blast build from a few years back. I run Wizard only and am cleanly GR 125 with Tal Rasha now. I've got to try this one
Still prefer the GoD for speeds, but I made my comet wizard and already have a 134 clear, that's like 15 tiers higher than ever before. Only two augs so far. In the back of my mind I assumed 150 was actually out of reach, but with one week of progress, I think I can actually do it. Thanks for the inspiring content brother, keep blasting!
Hi Raxx... just went back to playing DIablo 3 on the PC after years on the console, been a bit of a mind melt since I started with diablo on PC years ago. I love my wizards, even when Blizz treats us like crap. Love your work!
talked me into it, building a wizard later because that looks fun and spin to win farming gets old after a while, so some variety in my farming builds will help keep me playing already 100 para short of my best a week into season
Yes this is pretty strong and very fast but warning this build lacks damage compared to normal tal setup so don't expect to just one shot everything on GR 110. Raxx wipes whole rift in 1,5 minute because he has very high rolls and high paragon. So if you are casual then I'd actually test this first and with paragon calculator actually check if this is even worth it for you. I'd recommend to either primal the ingeom or just try to roll very high damage ancient ingeom.
Didn’t see anyone mention this but if you do the num lock trick on explosive blast and diamonds skin, you only need to press the teleport skill. To do the num lock trick, have num lock turned on, press and hold the number of the skill you want then press num lock again. The skill will auto cast for you now except when you use click to move
I tried last season with an explosive blast Tal Rasha meteor farming build that was very close. It was mostly effective but wasn't as quite as fast or durable as I'd have liked. So crazy the only differences from my build last season and this are SoJ and Diamond Skin. But I can see how those 2 simple changes completely change the effectiveness of the build. Good stuff
@@wojciech9001 somewhat but both the SoJ and the use of Diamond Skin instead of whatever I was trying in that skill slot (I legit don't remember what it was at this point any more) explain my damage and durability problems last season
Thanks for another informative video Rax. I'm finishing off season 28 looking back at this older video with this wizard build. Looks amazing and I'll try your variant. You know though after all the builds I've tried, you still can't beat a specced out UE DH sorry. Blizzard can fart with other builds but for sheer speed, maneuverability and killing (when cranked because they nerfed and left UE for so long) the DH still plays the best imho.
thank god you did the 110 with this because that first run on 100 was normal speed for my tal rasha wiz with only 900 paragon with no primals and lvl 90 gems on the normal build
As a lazy person, I'm so happy to see this build. Basically feels like I'm playing Inna water with ingeom dashing around lmao but my dmg isn't nerfed! It's also heartwarming to see people who have real disability have a great time with your builds. using electrocute in place of ice armor as I build up the set, got 4 piece bonus but found out (on PS5 at least) if you tap electrocute instead of holding, you get endless meteorites
Thx for the guide :) One question: are other players also experiencing a very poor drop rate for Primals, after they unlock the Primal free drop at the Altar? I've farmed almost 1,500 legs by now since the last Primal dropped for me; that's three times the official drop rate of 1:500 for Primals.
Love your videos. Just wondering why you also take familiar sparkflint? Wouldn't magic weapon "Force weapon" be better since you don't need sparkflint for the fire proc with explosive blast? Just wondering if maybe there is a synergy there that i'm not seeing. I'm a casual btw so if i'm missing something obvious cut me some slack.
Saw your video ... got excited ... tried the build ... insane as every time you come up with those builds .) GR 115 in 4 minutes ... no augs. Its insanely powerfull. Keep up the good work.
Replace stone of jordan with obsidian ring of the zodiac, massively fixes the builds severe downtime and lack of survivability if you dont run into elite packs, makes the build way easier to play
I did finally clear gr150 for the first time. Hardest part was the insane lag caused by the build. Rubberbanding back to aoe and dying. Thankfully it stopped during night so I could finish it. Good thing I wasn't playing hc char because that was pretty horrible.

Have a look at the Razer Tartarus, with it you can make a macro to spam 1+2+Q, freeing you up to just press teleport

I absolutely love tal meteor. There's so many different viable builds in ways to be creative
agree ive used just about all them , if you play 1000s of rifts youll come up with a build you like, i run speed walker , and a push shield build.

speaking of killing minions, i noticed you need to kill them for the extra progression orb from the altar too.
This is so much fun! Definitely the build to use if you're just looking to get a bunch of gear and potential primals.
how do you sustain aracne? i keep running out. i have the arcane on crit and 15% resource cost reduction but i still constantly run out

This. I got an ancient with 8 seconds and it didn't work at all. A normal with 10s was much better (upgraded to primal because why not this season)
At aprox.8:00, I'm assuming Raxx misspoke, as the meteor casts don't need to hit anything to reset the Teleport (teleport in the place where the floor is lava, aka a town, and mash meteor. Won't hit anything, but Tele gets it's reset proccs). Great vid, and a fun build, though 😁
Shouldn't you replace Zei's as well? Or is the stun necessary for smoothness?

This is what I needed. You the man. I just had a primal ingeom drop last night. I can put it to good use since I don't play monk.
Aether Walker pretty much accomplish the same thing. Except you can start spamming teleport the moment you enter the rift and doesn’t rely on elites hunting
90% sure you need the in-geom for spamming explosive blast, which is why this does so well.
AW's probably better for bounties, but IG definitely feels like the best option for GRs.
Also AW has a longer teleport max recast than IG does, and takes resources which IG doesn't.
@@AtomicArtumas idk, I can get gr 110 done in about 2-2:30 depending on the map with only 1k p using the AW build. Seems just as fast and a bit easier to play. But i will give this build a try and see for myself
I play AE and it feels really fast an chill. I just hold down right mouse button (for meteors) and spam 3 (teleport)
For ressources I use the helm in cube that gives 30% rcr (forgot the name). P1000 and can do 110s in 1.5-2m consistently and only press one button aswell
yea, AW lightning build with cubed squirt does this way better. equip aguhild helm/shoulder and guardian belt/bracer. way less effort, even more dmg then this clunky explo blast , relying on Ingeom :p

This is nice, but I don’t like relying on the elite packs. Aerher Walker gives infinite teleports and with the resource on crit this season + some other resource saving add-ons you can do the same thing at the very start of the rift.
This is EXACTLY what I needed bro. I just finally got my Tal's complete and it's slow. I was just on my way over to Maxroll to see if I should be using Aether Walker or something, but I checked my bells and you had a new video out and it just so happened to be for my character. Could've have came at a better time :D

I built this, even with default gear (not upgrades and such) its been able to clear 110s long before the timer. 10/10 build.
Been doing tals all season so far. Finally got around to doing the T10 in 45 seconds with just the regular gear and paragon 750ish. It's doing GR100's in about 2.5 minutes from the seasonal stuff. All in all a very OP set.
thx for sharing, this is a really fun build! It works even with junk gear! Will greatly help speed farming keys. Like you said and showed: kill elite, hold 1 and 2 and spam 3 sometimes throw a meteor if needed and hope to find another elite before the cooldown resets go away. I even forgot to swap out Karini for SoJ too lol.

This works exactly the same as the wand of woh build from back in the day, same items even. Only 100x stronger lol.

Thanks! Great stuff Raxx. Rolling this and trying it on now. The Maxroll link shows a Zei's (range) in the build. Are you using an Esoteric or maybe BoS instead? It doesn't seem so squishy it requires Esoteric.

Update. zeis on avg. knocked a full 2 1/2 minutes off the run.
I am a first responder and a vet. I have fellow veteran friends that have disabilities with their hands...or their hands are totally missing and they have prosthetic hands. This build actually lets them play with their good hand with a gaming mouse! In fact. I would challenge Maxroll to try and come up with more builds like this for other characters. They use one hand and use the Numlock trick with the other abilities :-)
No one has really ever tried to come up with a library of literally one handed builds! Basically optimized the best they can be to play with one hand. Obviously they might not be top tier, but pretty close :-)
Its not that players are lazy, there is a wide range Diablo 3 base (soon D4) audience that are disabled....including veterans. Food for thought :-)

This reminds me of Bombsader before Bliz nerfed them. You could get your cooldown to almost zero and be bombarding the map constantly, it was my favorite Crusader and favorite class while I lasted.
The one where you explode as crusadser? That was my first ever build, like season 14 or something

Neat. I started this build up last night. Well the previous video’s build in maxroll. I had already swapped in the ring change. I don’t like CoE so just the SoJ. And it has been much better. I’ll have to try the lightning rune route as well.
This build crushes GRs. After I finished the Alter (not all the potions yet) I'm running with an Aether build at GR-11O just to farm primals. So fast and satisfying to do sub 2 min rifts (except the part where I still don't have a primal after 10+). RNG!!!
Rax I PM you ingame about the Zei Stone. Is it still relevant in this build or would be better replaced by a different Legendary Gem?
By the way thanks a lot for all the things you do for D3 community.

This reminds me of the Firebird Explosive Blast build from a few years back. I run Wizard only and am cleanly GR 125 with Tal Rasha now. I've got to try this one
Still prefer the GoD for speeds, but I made my comet wizard and already have a 134 clear, that's like 15 tiers higher than ever before. Only two augs so far. In the back of my mind I assumed 150 was actually out of reach, but with one week of progress, I think I can actually do it. Thanks for the inspiring content brother, keep blasting!

Hi Raxx... just went back to playing DIablo 3 on the PC after years on the console, been a bit of a mind melt since I started with diablo on PC years ago. I love my wizards, even when Blizz treats us like crap. Love your work!
I saw this combo, but I've missed the Jordan + Convention part, that's a really cool way to use Tal Rasha 4 elements !
jordan boost static damage, convention is "non-static", so you dont get 200% on all types at all times..

This is the exact thing I've been looking for. I didn't think about swapping my main hand to ingeom. Going to try this now!
Yes this is pretty strong and very fast but warning this build lacks damage compared to normal tal setup so don't expect to just one shot everything on GR 110. Raxx wipes whole rift in 1,5 minute because he has very high rolls and high paragon. So if you are casual then I'd actually test this first and with paragon calculator actually check if this is even worth it for you. I'd recommend to either primal the ingeom or just try to roll very high damage ancient ingeom.

Didn’t see anyone mention this but if you do the num lock trick on explosive blast and diamonds skin, you only need to press the teleport skill. To do the num lock trick, have num lock turned on, press and hold the number of the skill you want then press num lock again. The skill will auto cast for you now except when you use click to move
Really cool build tho one thing that I like about GoD more then this is that you are not in the rush to find elites when you get some terrible map.

I tried last season with an explosive blast Tal Rasha meteor farming build that was very close. It was mostly effective but wasn't as quite as fast or durable as I'd have liked. So crazy the only differences from my build last season and this are SoJ and Diamond Skin. But I can see how those 2 simple changes completely change the effectiveness of the build.

I think the Altar is also contributing a lot to this build build viable.
@@wojciech9001 somewhat but both the SoJ and the use of Diamond Skin instead of whatever I was trying in that skill slot (I legit don't remember what it was at this point any more) explain my damage and durability problems last season

Thanks for another informative video Rax. I'm finishing off season 28 looking back at this older video with this wizard build. Looks amazing and I'll try your variant. You know though after all the builds I've tried, you still can't beat a specced out UE DH sorry. Blizzard can fart with other builds but for sheer speed, maneuverability and killing (when cranked because they nerfed and left UE for so long) the DH still plays the best imho.

thank god you did the 110 with this because that first run on 100 was normal speed for my tal rasha wiz with only 900 paragon with no primals and lvl 90 gems on the normal build

using electrocute in place of ice armor as I build up the set, got 4 piece bonus but found out (on PS5 at least) if you tap electrocute instead of holding, you get endless meteorites

One question: are other players also experiencing a very poor drop rate for Primals, after they unlock the Primal free drop at the Altar? I've farmed almost 1,500 legs by now since the last Primal dropped for me; that's three times the official drop rate of 1:500 for Primals.
I am in the same boat. I have seen 1 Primal in 1k para solo. That 1 primal was the Gr 70 lolol.

Love your videos. Just wondering why you also take familiar sparkflint? Wouldn't magic weapon "Force weapon" be better since you don't need sparkflint for the fire proc with explosive blast? Just wondering if maybe there is a synergy there that i'm not seeing. I'm a casual btw so if i'm missing something obvious cut me some slack.

Replace stone of jordan with obsidian ring of the zodiac, massively fixes the builds severe downtime and lack of survivability if you dont run into elite packs, makes the build way easier to play
I did finally clear gr150 for the first time. Hardest part was the insane lag caused by the build. Rubberbanding back to aoe and dying. Thankfully it stopped during night so I could finish it. Good thing I wasn't playing hc char because that was pretty horrible.
Would you be able to do a guide on how to farm the specific items needed for the build? New to this game and my highest level character is lv 36 so don't really know where to start.
