Greta job. I found a SFL in my room mates basement and it's been providing some great writing, and after a bunch of Smith-Coronas its my first time with such a different feeling, European machine. It's in amazing condition, I cannot believe how good of a condition it is.
@@TypewriterMinutes May I know why you call it hefty for Olympia SF? I saw a Olympia SF listed up for auction in my country, but I have no idea what feeling it has when typing, do you know that? what different between it and Splendid series?
Different feel than an SM3. It feels “taut” so I recommend putting the tension adjustment on the weakest setting. If you like the feel of a Sky-Riter, the SF may not be for you. Try one out before buying if possible.
Hey guys, I have an Electra 110 (Smith corona) but it has black keys and I can’t seem to find any with black keys! It’s puzzleing but hope you guys might know the answer
Very interesting! I don’t recall seeing black keys on Smith Coronas since the black round ones on the 1940s machines. Sounds like you may have an uncommon typewriter that you need to hang onto. :)
Finally find this same with mine because I can’t find this ver just know is Olympia brand but not the same. so sad because is too many years no maintain but is still can use
You play Bavarian music (southernmost part of Germany) to a product that is from northern Germany and this music is not played there! Bavaria is almost 1,000 kilometers from Wilhelmshaven, where the typewriter was built. These are two completely different cultures. Come on!

Nicest sample I’ve seen (including the case). Those things are heavy for such a small footprint.

A tabulator would've made these machines perfect. So far only the perfect ultraportable is the Olivetti Lettera 32.
