The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attend a multi-faith event at the base of Grenfell Tower in London, marking five years since the fire that saw 72 lives lost in 2017.
William and Kate greet survivors and loved ones of those lost before joining members of the bereaved families in a 72-second silence.

All the land and property given to the royals has been nothing other than theft of what belongs to the British public. This alone would help more people. I like to think that today Prince William and Duchess of Cambridge, represent not only themselves by being there, but the people of the United Kingdom who can't. Whether it is today at Grenfell or tomorrow in another country - they represent the people. Elected government officials, change or can change every few years. The Royal Family provide continuity. It's that simple.

So whats he going to do about it?
He can raise awareness of the situation ,work with charities and government agencies to support survivors, and show sympathy and empathy for the people themselves.
In the long run though, it is the governments job to decide on what action is required and find funding to get it done. The government must sort out the problems and delays not only here but in all the high rise towers with unsafe cladding.
The Races at Ascot are an annual event which raises millions of pounds a year. It supports the sport but also the tourism and hospitality industries. The Royal Family are there for the nation in bad times and good. They attend many sporting events. There will be a Royal presence at the Commonwealth Games in a few weeks and they’ll be cheering our participants as usual.

Princess Diana would be so proud of William, and would have loved Kate. They are charming, show concern for social issues, and are capable of engaging in conversations with people wherever they may be.

Duchess of Sussex was there 5yrs. ago from the beginning and made cookbook with the women who were affected by this tragedy to help feed many of people who needed the help. All the proceeds went to all the victims.
No, she wasn't. What planet are you living on. The Queen and Prince William were the first to get there. Then William came back to help. The women of the tower put their recipes in a book and Megain swooped in and put her name on the book which the women did not want. The proceeds then disappeared along with MeGain. How do I know this? I had relatives in that building.

I think you need to look more closely at the lifetimes work of Prince Charles. He is the one who stated many,many years ago that"Diversity is our nation's greatest strength. It is the" Prince's Trust" and his father's Duke of Edingburgh's Awards that have given opportunities to countless young people from diverse backgrounds.
They were doing these things long before Diana appeared on the scene. Diana because of her looks and glamour always had cameras following her so a lot more of what she did was recorded.
