Here I am sitting around at 22 years, being dogshiet at this game :D
24 and i suck at this game. Team Silver rank hahaha
@@jasonchua4001 Ouch thats rough :D
😅
Yeah I started playing cs when I was 17, 23 now. Got roughly 5k hours and I feel like my prime was like a year or two ago, I am a lot smarter now but my aim isn't what it used to be
@@PsFlux That's because you've been practicing less then or other circumstances ;p Hell that's the main reason 'older' gamers decline so fast. ''Life'' gets in the way of practicing hours and hours and hours a day and then they can't keep up and quit the (semi-) pro levels of play.
Getting global is extremely difficult with all these hackers, without a team it becomes even more arduous.
I hope you can take my word for this. I can tell you now, it is possible to reach global as a solo player within 1 week if you're capable.
If you're not, just try to focus on yourself. Blame yourself for everything that goes wrong, and you will notice big improvements.
Matchmaking is unplayable right now but global is pretty easy to reach with a decent level. You don't even need to be that good
I refuse to play ranked untill they develop an invasive anti cheat, like every other big esport game. Only pros get a reasonable experience with ESEA etc. Not everyone wants to be an esport pro and grinding through the current system doesn't feel rewarding.
Play Faceit or ESEA then and you are not gonna get a team out of nowhere. Play some Faceit, ESEA, find some players who are as good and as passionate as you (and have a mic lol), they would love to play with good players too.
That's how you make a team. You might get lucky by finding a team of 4 others in Faceit MM and they need a 5th and you are a perfect fit for that
MM is a waste of time just play Faceit.
your channel is really underrated
I'm glad a lot of insight got put into this, I'm also glad that a person with experience in the esports world can give the fans an inside look at the players perspective and what they go through and what they want us to hear.
Extremely helpful, thank you for setting a goal for me in simpler terms, I've just turned 16 a few days ago and thought it was over but hopefully with consistent habits i'll reach my goal. Started with Kovaaks a year ago and has been an essential warmup ever since as well as hand excercises to prevent carpal and cubital tunnel symptoms due to bad ergonomics.
Practice more to improve your aim. People love insane kills, crazy kills. So just go for it no matter what, and later you will feel who you are and where you have to go.
Biodecay what routine do you use for kovaaks?
How are you doing rn 2 years later?
Would've been very interesting to interview Brollan, he is a top-tier young incredible Fnatic
Great video with concrete goals to strive towards for anyone trying to go pro, more like this please!
Nice quality rambo! Love the video’s
yo i appreciate the amazing video rambo. im 17 and this just motivates me to grind even more, keep up the great content :)
4:26 that transition was lit
The animations on point as usual
Really appreciate this type of vids :)
How tf do you not have more subs this is the content I've been searching for my entire life lmao.
love ur videos keep uploading 👍👍
Great video man thank you
Love ur videos and u so much
This was seriously really really interesting to watch
6:00 fair enough but I'd say global elite is FAR from the top 1000 in the world in CSGO, maybe top 50,000 or something
Creepatnight yeah something like that, global is nowhere near top 1000 for sure
@Creepatnight Level 7 is also a bit high for global. A lot of globals I know are around lvl 5-6. But this is selected from the few people that I know which are playing both mm and faceit. But generally speaking youre right with lvl 7. I think these people are "good" globals to and not average.
he talked about 3 games: LoL, CS:GO, DOTA2. he isn't wrong about the others
@@stibohoehne really? Ive always found matchmaking cancer so whenever I play I'm around dmg/le. But I'm lvl 10 and 2400 elo on faceit (NA). Id say I definitely get more kills in mm but it doesn't feel that different haha maybe I just play against too many cheaters
When I played I was level 9 faceit and Supreme MM, but went down to DMG/LE because I didn’t care about mm anymore and just queued with all my gold nova friends, imo it’s more fun to play faceit for competitive play and just use MM as a fun 5v5 mode to play with your friends / warmup
very nice video idea!!:)
This video helped alot with my motivation i have been feeling really unmotivated recently because of how many hours and hours i have practiced but these tips from people i look up to really helped
Amazing video.!!
It's pretty hard to be amongst the best in any form of competition, but having a roadmap to pro like this, it lightens up a bit on what direction we should be facing. Thank you for doing this.
Just a little sidenote, the highest division in LoL is Challanger like you said,
but you showed the Master Icon.
And for Overwatch, its not Grandmaster, it's Top-500 also wrong icon.
Good video keep it up!
editing was good
1:23, 16 years old, and he's that wise...
oBo was born in my hometown and ive always followed him, my favorite player.
1:23 "keep a balance" says the kid that went home right off school and played for 12 hours straight. If I am not mistaken he dropped of school as well.
Ok
Thats y he said it
Vasilen Velikov yeah bro thats why he said u should keep it balanced between both. read and understand something before you start commenting. hes on a pro team now, what about you?
Here Im playing with no personal computer and dreaming of becoming pro.
Always makes me feel weird knowing that even though I'm still pretty young and taking my first steps from amateur to pro, there are kids younger than me who've already made it
@Raiyum 18 and CS:GO
Even worse when ur 23 and really tried to get within two years of playing, only to become average
Raiyum yea, playing with better players genrally. I was talking more of my dexterity/eye-hand coordination beeing on my maximum potential even after trying to improve it for countless hours of training.
Love all the content in these videos. One thing I do wish this had was some advice and information for people who are older. I am almost 23 and I haven't had the time to put in enough consistent effort to improve. Is it too late for me? I was faced with the same issue in my swimming career and often felt discouraged when people said I was "past the point". Is there any time or point in which you recommend reaching for pro? Obviously sooner is better but am I "late to the party"?
Hi - I'm a little old to go pro (39!) but am using your videos to try and learn a few new skills so that I can enjoy my game in different ways. I'm currently playing BFV but am also going to back to BF4, Hardline and BF1 (which is probably my favourite). My K/D is about 1.50, which I'm happy with, and I always PTFO, but is there anything else I could think about practicing that might improve my skills and let me have more fun?
I love this vid
3:08 wait what RAMBO
oh its sOm
OK so I'm 16 right now and the release of valorant has got me thinking of actually taking it seriously and aiming for the top. The only problem is that the only game I'm good at is rocket league. I'm already starting to learn valorant pretty quickly and might be willing to put in the time especially with the whole quarantine, but is it really feasible for me to try to go pro when there's already so many people who are miles and miles ahead of me?
1 year later hows it going what rank are you?
Very insightful and helpful. I have one question though - how does one move up in this competitive world if you country doesn't really have much interest/population that partakes in competitive games? I live in Croatia, I play Siege, and there are barely any competitive tournaments besides CSGO and League. Esports community is developing pretty slowly and poorly here
They have good gaming chair😉
PROFFESIONAL VIDEO (QUAILTY CONTENT)
gracias
Man, I remember when counter strike came out, I thought it was sweet but had no idea it would become what it has.. it blows my mind.
oBo is the bro
One day!!☝️
As a former semipro CS player i can relate :) attitude, being humble and friendly means more then raw skill.
oBo he,s very impressive, poizon's good support for him
well this video aged well for tenz
Oof, gonna be 27 this year, and I still haven't reached my skill goals after all this time aim is still inconsistent and seeing pros this young does make me a tiny bit jealous haha, I wonder who the oldest pro player is, and is it too late for me to be any better than my current skill level.
Oldest pros are 32 and 31 I believe, but they started young and are still playing
Get an fk2 best mouse men
@@RonRamboKim I didn't start taking a shooter seriously until I was around 18, when I was playing tf2. I think in the end what stunted my growth was lack of direction. Playing aim trainers and mods only go so far I think.
I wish climbing faceit was easier but I'm putting the time into it.
Im 13 and started playing csgo 2 months ago, I play deathmatch 2 hours a day good progress so far.
Good luck bro
I got introduced to this game at 20 . Started playing seriously from Jan ' 2019 with absolutely no knowledge of competitive csgo . First Rank - Silver 1 . I will be 22 this year and my rank is now Silver Elite .
I know I will never be a pro but I will keep learning this game , grind mm and faceit . Maybe consider streaming if not a pro career .
Unless you're 12 and already at the top level you're not going to go pro, most likely. Not in these kinds of games anyway. You're almost more likely to win the lottery even then. EDIT: just to add to that: you can still easily go Global in CSGO even if you're 40 and just starting out, as long as you've got a history of at least consistently playing shooters. It just depends... do you, like the teens grinding ranked, have 4+ hours a day to practice? You'll probably need it. Just saying: It can be done. I plan on being a living example of that in a few years lmao
@@KindOldRaven agree even 30 y old can go pro if he dont need to make money for living and can play up to 5+ hour a day. But the real problem is most of us after graduating high school we need to make a choice going to college, get a job or going pro or whateverr
This upcoming generation of gamers is going to be insane.
Biggest difference imo between pros and casual players is the training. As a casual player you would typically train aim and nades and then play mm or faceit. Pro players do a lot of team training, drilling executes and stuff like that.
Yes, pros dedicate most their waking hours to training and development
Obo started to play FPS games at 12 and just became instantly good? What kind of freaky natural talent is that?
What Happend when I play 8-10 hours a Day and I dont go Outside Maybe 2 hours a Week?
Pog
I'm not a PC-Player, so becoming a Pro is basically off the Table, for that Matter in particular.
...but:
I just want to know what makes a professional.
I want to know how they think and operate so i can learn, adapt and improve on myself.
Another interesting Thing to know would be:
What exactly makes a "pro"?
Is it something you only can be from game to game, or something you can be in general?
Is it Skill? Statistics? Experience? Character? Mindset? Being original? (most likely all combined)
Long Story short:
Is there some sort of "secret", or comes it just down to pushing your boundaries over and over again, by training and improving?
Almost 22 now. I've been really putting in the time prepping for valorant to grind at much as possible. You think it's still possible to go pro or is it too late?
22, its possible
How about 33?
The only tip young players need is to stick with one game. Don't care what it is. Most young players I meet are all cracked and with dedication and hard work you all can make it. But it is hard work, you aren't doing better than me because I put in 2 hours of training to my 6 hours of gaming. Keep up the hard work and it will all pay off for you one day!!
I understand most people (not just former and current pros) say to get global before playing pugs, but I've also heard from other streamers, former pros who now stream, and current pros that it's better to just do free FaceIt until you learn the game at a high level cuz there's so many closet cheaters in MM. Fl0m said himself, "MM is way harder. Cuz 90% of the time someone is walling me anyway."
I agree. You can skip MM and go straight to esea or faceit
You really have to play the game for fun at first, then only you can become better if it becomes a passion. Yet with all that, it's a lot easier to play at the highest level if you start super young. So by the time you start playing comp, you already have the basics down.
Still I believe the skill ceiling for current cs is at the lowest it's been. A professional today will probably be main a decade ago in css. Maybe im in 1.6
"open to constructive criticism" lol alright tenz
I’m at a case of “Better Late than Never” - I’m at 32 years old - to be up in Splatoon 2 - but I’ve got problems
How can i find my res i rly dont know i can play with everything but i cant stand on it. thx for answer or video.
Experience.
Best thing I can tell you after almost 4k hours is to play with what's comfortable and be honest whether you like something or not. For example, I used to stick on 2.2 sens 400 dpi because I typically had better aim but was not comfortable on that sens due to me primarily being an arm player. I decided to switch to 1.7 and while my aim for the moment at least isn't as good I am a lot more comfortable and am able to be more consistent. Basically just find what's comfortable for your playstyle and for you personally. One last bit of advice is if you do plan on changing your sensitivity to something maybe a good amount lower or higher jump right into that sensitivity. I've seen a lot of posts saying you should slowly increase or decrease until you get to your desired sens, which is horrible advice considering you're going to be building up muscle memory for a sensitivity just to change it a week or two later.
TLDR: Play with what is comfortable and if you want to change your sens go straight to the sens you want without slowly increasing/decreasing. Lastly make sure once you found something you're comfortable with DO NOT CHANGE IT NO MATTER WHAT.
Well after years of playing CSGO and taking breaks. I realized the res I'm most comfortable with is what I started with. (800x600 bb) I went to a lot of res changes but nothing stands out on what you were used to when u started. Experience too and what you prefer. I used to play with high sens too but years after years I went lower and now I'm on 400 @ 1.75 from 400 @ 3.6. Preference too for example, using accel since I used it when I started playing CS and I can't aim well when it's off but I don't recommend turning it on when u already had it off from the start.
Just use your preference and experience. Also, try to watch pro level games and analyzing a POV. It helps, there are tons of POV in UA-cam.
wow 'sudden attack' i play when i was 6, my old fav game Now. im 13
Would you be willing to do a video on how to spot and avoid bad contracts?
better off hiring a lawyer
@@RonRamboKim Understandable. Just thought it could be an interesting video and thought you'd have enough experience since you've been in the scene for quite a bit.
Next to impossible to get to global elite by solo queuing with randoms and against so many hackers.
Yeah in Csgo I'd recommend to get to LE atleast and then switch to esea or faceit.
I just need a friend who would tell me what i did wrong and what i can do better but all my friends just bully me 😅
I need a video of the opposite - are there people going pro while being "too old" and still making it? if so, how? Since I'm 27 I'd love hear some Infos about this kind of topic :)
Going pro is possible at any age as long as you have time atleast 5 hour+ a day and have money to make a living while grinding on game. If you arent then i recommend you to just work or be a streamer
Help I want to get better but I keep ketting rekt by rank dmg and above. I play on laptop with 50-60 fps do I need better computer to rank?
Computers with high FPS helps performance significantly
@@RonRamboKim It's tough to play high ranks with crappy rig, I can't just watch angles while holding still, I have to adadad becuase I will get insta headshotted XD.

hi ron, im 18 and i am very determined to go pro at this game, but watching this video i feel as though i started late ( only started 4 months ago) but in them four months i have played 500 hours and faceit level 4. i play CSGO do you think its too late to start thinking about going pro?
i think it's never too late, if you really are good and have a really good work ethic you definitely still can.
Gade somehow made it in his mid 20s in the most competitive country in the world atm. Anyone who has some natural talent for the game can make it, within reason.
Some people are extremely gifted however, and they tend to be the ones who make it at a professional level in all sports. If you don't have a lot talent for the game then it's best to keep your expectations realistic, you may still be able to make it but it would be very difficult in this situation.
Just being realistic don’t bother wasting your time. Not even 1% of players get to semi pro.
Now think about it this way. You’re turning 18 the ideal time to startup your future. But you’re considering playing an 8 year old competitive game seriously.
If you need more incentive not to go for it within 3 months of starting playing I had 400 hours reached mg and faceit lv.6
And I’m still dogshit.
You’re better off finding a newer game, developing a stream or better yet focus on ur future.
@@71mb0o mg and faceit lv6 interesting mix
@@cheyhey2170 how so?
You, I have always had this doubt, do you guys and Rambo think masturbating ruins your aim? I mean as it is connected to all your nerves that might affect you later, it's just an idea I have and it might sound dumb for some people but, I wanna know.

Why are there fake crowd noises edited in
Doesn't touch on the flaws of csgo public matchmaking and non existant anti cheat? In some regions gl trying to get GE without a group with the hacking problem the game has, maybe NA is less.
After reaching decent level of skill in my region the only meaningful progression is pug matches(OCE), low player pop + hackers
Overwatch has the same problem in OCE but instead of hackers you have win traders and overall small elite player base leading to lower quality matches, and thus learning experiences. Sucks for us out here :( , don't mind playing with Asian regions but there's a language barrier
Man me being in Australia sucks ass cause their is no good Esports scene ;(
@@Biodecay It does kinda suck all I wanted was a better experience at high levels. A select few make it out of here and props to them, what I've seen is they move to NA and can progress there way more effectively. Most of our domestic competition is a joke unfortunately, even though we have some brilliant individual talent here.
Even streamers have it tough in Aus as our tiny population means sniping is a breeze.
Just keeping it real as some youngsters might not understand why they feel stuck with all the quirks of our region.
