I'm using alot of Rob Papen's instruments,they are all very nice and sounding great !!
I get an email form APD about BIT 2.0 and the opening paragraph went like this " Get ready to be blown away by the sonic possibilities of Rob Papen's BIT 2.0 synthesizer! We just created a super fun (and informative!) video that dives deep into this powerhouse synth, and we think you'll love it. I think the marketing folks over at APD need to lay off the red bull. This video was nothing more than me having to endure an annoying melody and maybe brief highlights. There is more to offer than what was presented here so to use the words deep dive and informative is an overstatement.
Is this a continuation of their old synth Albino?
Not really. BIT 2.0 leans more towards wavetable synthesis and complex sound design capabilities, while Albino is known for its focus on classic analog subtractive synthesis.
