I mean their vocals aren't the best but this is one hell of a hype song
They are so fun. And can't stop telling this: Marko 47 and Remo is 53, and they are doing K-Pop worthy dance routine 😅 Fun fact they actually brought a vocal coach with them for pre-ESC week 😂. That did not help much, but it doesn't matter.

Out of all the performances, and videos, Eesti Laul national final was the best. All the camera angles, they captured exactly right person's face who was singing at the right moment. No mics were off, no weird footage of dark silouets, in front of dark background, when all the action is going on elsewhere. Spot on. We don't appreciate enough our own video, sound and technical crew.
But, as it turnes out, ESC team has pretty good excuse: they all were dancing the Veisson dance 😅 while 5Miinust and Puuluup were performing.
5Miinust is a rap group and Puuluup is a folk group with instruments.
I love their collaboration so much! Also the rest of the album(s)!

This was my favourite eurovision-style performance. Rap in Estonian with traditional music elements is SO eurovision. They may not always place high but they are essential!
I saw this live at the final in Malmö and the vibe was just AMAZING in the arena, everyone was so hyped! Even the ones who worked at the arena danced and it was so much fun. Maybe not the best song but they really bring the vibe and joy!

That dance is a very traditional folk dance from the Estonian island of Vormsi. It derives from the Viking age, when the men of the village would perform this dance for good luck before going hunting or fishing.
I'd add to this that it almost died out but was basically reborn thanks to Marko Veisson (the Vsauce looking guy).

Balkan people drink rakija. Its double-distilled fruit brandy, typically plums and grapes. But you can use other fruits also. Its a strog drink. And evrebody loves it.

Finland - Long drink or lonkero as we say in Finland. The original version tastes like grapefruit soda with gin and last summer they made a pineapple gin version that became insanely popular.

After Nemo, this was my favourite, because all the fun they brought. And as a female, I really liked that more male performance than Eurovision usual. As somebody called it, cavemen performance.

The studio version ive listened to a ton, its great fun, the national final in estonia was alot better, something happened with the audio on the grand final idk

I was a bit disappointed that this song worked better as a studio cut. They still gave it their all live, but the staging was the lacking part. Shame, but it’s still in my top 5.
I will have to disappoint you and tell you that if you had Carlsberg in Germany, you didn't have german beer xD It's Danish and their headquarters are in Copenhagen. Here in denmark they have a few very popular local beer brands like Carlsberg, Tuborg and Albani and for strong liqour they have Aquavit. In my home country of Iceland I would say that the local beer brands most drunk would be Víking and Einstök and for liqour we have our national Brennivín which pretty much translates into Burnt Wine, it's really strong. Though liqourice shots are always popular with the nordic countries :D

We have pretty decent beer in Estonia! Traditional dessert is Kama. Tareq Taylor tried it in the Estonian Episode of his show. Couple of years ago. We also claim to invent the marzipan.
And Estonian own drink is Vana Tallinn - it is a liquer, similar to Bayleys, traditionally added to coffee.
According to newest report the most popular alkohol in Poland is beer. Almost 40% of drinking people choose beer. Second choice is wine and 3rd vodka. Young generations don't drink vodka so often.
I'm swedish, know zero estonien but it is great for rap like this and for more.. house rap esk. Try the artist Nublu, songs like tmt, V6sa, croissantid or universum. Somehow the sort of "square" way the language sounds fits so well. sort of rythmic! Highley recommend! These two bands also make music, but it's often more of a "joke", like Erootika pood (sex shop) even though they have more serious songs too. 5Miinust in particular, like trenazöör or even Tsirkus where puuluup is collaborating with them!

So many things to say - First, these guys are legends, when we were asking for interviews they mostly just suggested going for beers. Secondly, this song carved a very special place in the heart of so many fans, but didn't really seem to reach the wider public. There's a piece in Estonian TV of people doing the dance around Europe and I took one of a friend of mine doing it in Brussels, and it's the final one in the clip. Oh, and the song is called 'I (really) know nothing about (those) drugs' in English translation. And in the first verse they sing about Roheine Lays, or Lays Crisps, as you may know them (Dunno if that brand exists in the US).
Then, a few weeks ago I took the Helsinki to Tallinn ferry - so comfortable, very nice - highly recommend. You'll have a great time.
And as an Irish guy, I don't like whisky or beer. I could take a Baileys. But mostly I just drink red wine and gin and tonic (But I'm an outlier). As for dessert, we definitely have deserts. I think Apple pie is probably the preffered one, but a lot have taken over from other parts of Europe. Profiteroles, Pavlova, Sticky Toffee Pudding (wait, that's Irish) etc.
In Sweden we drink Carlsberg and Norrlands guld beer. Akvavit during summer.

So lonkero is a drink made of grape fruit juice and gin. It's real name is long drink and finnish people call it lonkero= octopus arms 🤷. Salmiakkikossu is salted liquorice and vodka.

Am I the only one who is regularly getting culture shocks watching Eurovision? I mean, I grew up with this, but still.....Haha, okay: this is a typical song with the mindset: we want to rock the house but in the same time make sure we are not going to win this , we cannot afford to be hosting this next year..I have been to Tallinn /Estonia -very pretty medieval city and very nice people. The popular drink there was some kind of liquorice schnaps..The thing really everybody in Europe drinks right now is Aperol Spritz, it is everywhere!

The most popular alcoholic drink in Ukraine is horilka, but it's really tough to drink especially during the hot summer. The second popular is vyshnivka which is basically cherry liquor.
