- Trip Machine are a group of motorcycle addicts that design and produce handmade leather accessories from their atelier in New Delhi. From braided key chains to beautifully finished helmet and jacket hangers, these guys make high quality stuff at the right price. We're happy to be their sole UK retailer and even happier they've chosen to partner with us in designing some unique leather motorcycle accessories for 2021.

Unfortunately the extra fees one has to pay because of Brexit are enormous. Buying anything from my beloved UR is almost out of the question now..
Never thought about that up until now... Will there be significant price changes in the future?
@@thomasche as for the products per se, I wouldn't know. But for an EU customer the additional fees in importing anything from the UK are discouraging to say the least. I believe though that the extra cost varies from country to country, as the EU is not that "united".
Hi Thomas & Christos. The fun of Brexit hey. Thanks Mr. Cameron! Regarding pricing it can be summarised roughly as follows: you will see prices 20% cheaper than before (except helmets) as you don't have to pay UK VAT anymore. So the price you pay us will actually be substantially lower at the Checkout. You will then pay your country's VAT on import which will be around the same amount. Duties are often not as bad as people think; helmets for example can be as little as 2% import duty. Bear in mind many of the deals we have are exclusive to us and lower than you can find anywhere else so you'll still be getting many products cheaper than elsewhere in Europe. We're working on introducing something that makes it crystal clear on the product page what the import fees will be for each territory and hopefully you'll see it's not as bad as it sounds! @@UrbanRiderlondon thanx for the update. However import duty differs from country to country. As it turns out - and this is based on my own experience 3 days ago - DHL charges you an additional amount for custom clearence services - you do have the option to decline and go to the airport yourself with a custom's employee you might know and let him do the paperwork etc. All and all I ended up paying €120 (local VAT, import duty, DHL custom services) which is quite substantial and discouraging. Looking forward for your calculator as UR is personally my main motorcycle gear and apparel sponsor! Stay safe and ride safer, guys!
