I've been trying to change that annoying setting where the gun turns on an angle if you accidentally press R3 in the middle of a gunfight for so long. I thought I had to live with it. I still don't know which one it was... but I changed all my settings to the same as this video and now it doesn't do it. So much better. Thank you big Z.

Z have you ever tried that exra setting by your response curve? So where you select Dynamic push square then you can adjust how responsive the dynamic curve is, from 1.00 to 0.00 ive played with 0.70 and 0.30 and definitely see a difference between those. Lets us know if ypu try it and if it feels better or worse🎉

Would just like to chime in on the "Slide Only" option. Since a recent update, the devs added a "hybrid" option which allows you to dive and slide without that delay. So sliding will be normal with the lowest input delay, and in order to dive you need to press your sprint key and crouch key at the same time whilst moving forward. That simultaneous key/button press will allow diving while also having the quickest slide speed. Diving is still important, especially when you want to jump off a building or rock to get that nice glide and momentum.
I tried hybrid and I did not like it. Slide only is the way to go. If you want to dolphins dive then just hold the stick in its simple
@@JohnyX333x False. The whole point of Hybrid is so that you get the lowest delay for sliding while also being able to still dive. If you do "tap to slide and hold to dive" your slide will have a delay.
Edit: If you have slide only on, you obviously can't dive...
I tried it and it didn't work for me eveyone has there own preference

Slide only will randomly dive for me, even after they tried to fix it..
Hybrid also randomly dives even when I'm using auto tactical sprint and not clicking the left stick.
Slide only is so broken aye I dive all the time
Set keep sprinting after sliding off that should fix it
Bumper Jumper Tactical is the best free option, Clawing CAN lead to issues down the line as its not the ergonomic way the controller is meant to be held especially for long hrs which can lead to problems.

After my scuff stopped working i remapped slide/jump to bumpers been working well for me
What I think is funny is the slide only option, I've had that set since day 1 and I can still dive. They said they fixed it but they didn't but it's saved my ass a few times so ig I can't complain.

Another way to keep your Fingers on the thumb stick is to use the “stick and move” controller settings. It’s a great way, if it’s uncomfortable using the claw. I’ve been using it for a couple of years now and it’s a great way to get somewhat of an average over your opponent. Change your Jump,Stand,Mantle to right click. And Change stance, slide, dive to B. Sprint, Tactical sprint, focus to Left click thumb stick

On your scuff controller which buttons do you have mapped to the paddles.
zlaner plays claw he doesnt use paddles but to answer your question most pros in cod that use paddles use only 2 and map them on A/X and B/Circle

The best functions to map to the paddles are Jump and Slide. That's all you need. 👌
I just got paddles but already have mapped clicking R3 to slide … I mapped 1 paddle for jump trying to think what to map the 2nd paddle to, maybe armour and switching guns
I havnt played for a week because I've been ill but last night I played and the game volume was so low and I had everything maxed out. Anyone else experiencing this?

They just need to be as low as possible without stick drift, every single person will need these setting to be different

@@TheFunkiedrunkie you can't. I just don't dive. Personally I've found that the benefit from diving comes so rarely in the game, it's not worth the 100 times I do it on accident and die between every moment that may keep me alive.
