“Sweats” don’t want to play ranked. They want the easiest lobbies possible like anyone else. The interpretation of the lobbies being easier is probably just a placebo effect. Just my opinion, obviously Z is far more informed on CoD than me.
This part. My ranked lobbies are less sweaty than my pub lobbies. I’ve had a rough go in pubs the last few weeks; but in ranked I’m racking in 10+ kills and making it to end zone / winning way more
Na, you’re just playing people in YOUR rank so it seems a bit better. Pub lobbies you’re still going against some demons here and there. To say ranked is easier than pub is pretty funny, but it DOES make sense if you’re more comfortable playing people at your level.

Although Z seems to think it is related to ranked but it isn't. The truth is I know for a fact that Activision changed their sbmm algorithm which has leveled out the completely noob lobbies and super sweat lobbies
4.7 kd player here and i can also say with confidence that the casual big map is much easier now that ranked is out. yes you’re correct, us sweats want easier lobbies. but it isnt proportional to the amount of us sweats that want to play ranked. once we hit Iri, you will see us filter back into the casual big map mode
Mine are the opposite. Pubs are more sweaty than ranked tbh

Is there any such thing as SBMM anymore? I've just been playing regular BR modes and it's the sweatiest I've ever encountered. I don't stand a chance in most fights I have, it's just not fun anymore

Idk about the lobby theory, im plat 2 and i swear my core lobbies are sweatier then my ranked lobbies still lol
Lol goodbye plat 2. Id say don't log in till this new problem is fixed that's occurred in the last hour. Everyone has been completely reset to level 1 and I mean completely reset. No camos weapons locked can't even get on zombies everyone's running default skins in mp and people have already started leveling up to 3 or 4 by now shits fucked BAD

Important detail Z: the ranked mode needs to be accepted by the sweat community! So the devs need to stay on top of it to make the most competitive experience.

I use the taq 56 or whatever it’s called. What you lack in damage you make up in accuracy with that gun. It’s good if you don’t have a chronus

For some reason my lobbies feel like they got even sweattier since ranked is in the game. May be a coincidence, but it's true. I really think I improve in multiple ways all the time. But the rate that my average lobby and my opponents improve seems to be at double my rate. It's tiring at this point. Every single lobby feels the same, when you can't play 10 hours a day and can only play at "the usual" game time it is just sweatting non stop and trying to survive. There's almost no room for aggressiveness, it's become more and more rare. SBMM needs to get dialed down a bit and ranked needs to do its thing. Then it might get better and not as tiring. I get why there's SBMM, but it's way to strong ifI get slammed in ways I couldn't even peak to do the same.

6:11 I do it the other way around, equip tempered and than pick up a medic vest, because they seem way more common, and if I’m not mistaking the medic vest gives you quick fix, I think they changed that from wz2 to 3. let me know tho
This is exactly how i understand it and the same reasoning why i run tempered. That said the healing bonus does make more sense to have that earlier. Frankly it's nothing to have two loadouts setup, one for each and just play it based on what you find as you go. I frequently have access to multiple loadout drops throughout most games so it's kind of a non issue.
its the opposite for me since ranked came out ...normal resurgence is crazy sweaty and ranked isnt its weird i get more wins in ranked than normal mode

The games are sweaty because of the sweaty streamers. Everyone watches clips off youtube, insta, tiktok, etc. Then you have twitch and other streaming platforms. Everyone thinks they are a pro and they learn how to be sweaty af through streamers

EVERYONE GOT RESET TO LEVEL 1?? I'd advise against logging in till it is addressed and fixed. It's 7:18am central standard time and this happened within the past hour and a half. All camos gone. All unlocked weapons locked complete reset including events progress amd zombies isn't even accessible
I’ve noticed that too especially this last weekend. My squad and I will go 3 wins in a row without sweating my ass off. And get 6 wins easy in 2 hours.

Console kids complain about pc kids so now the aim assist is so strong it takes 0 skill to kill anyone from the 0-25m range. Now you add guns like that with no recoil full auto for +25M shot.....
Your idea about all the sweats being in ranked is wrong.
I play about 5 hours a day because I am off work right now.
Pre ranked I would have maybe 4/10 bot lobbies and enjoy myself...Now its sweat lobbies 24/7.
Cod needs to stop catering to the average console player. Without a keyboard your game would not even have been made.
I have not picked up a controller since black ops 1... and Im able to grab a controller and slide cancel my ass off and shoot across map with no recoil if I have good guns?

Exactly. The game feels different every time I play it, and as soon as the server feels more crisp and my shots CONNECTS LIKE IT SHOULD BE, which is like 20% of the time, I could be considered like a fking elite player because I do insane plays (that's what my teammate says when it happens) but 80% of the time if I was meeting myself in gunfights, I would consider myself a legit bot. Because I know I'm winning these gunfights but the game has a different agenda and I end up dying in the most mysterious, pathetic ways, wanting to punch my monitor very hard. But the times I have great gameplay makes my dopamine level go up so I feel like I want to play the game even more just to hit a wall the very next game because it's so atrociously random.
