It first happened to me when I was alone in prayer and it was powerful. I have had many small humbling's but I had no idea one like this was possible. I had never seen any of these holy spirit meeting videos or seen more than someone breaking out in tongues with a interpretation that I knew was the Lord. I was seeking him in my heart. I do it in worship and he hits me every day with joy unspeakable. I know it's him because I get the download. I get the message and call to serve. Being Holy Spirit filled can make others manifest their demons of they have them.
I am used to experiencing the Lord every day from the minute I wake. He wakes me. He does things so I know it's him making me sing hymns the moment I wake. I wake up with the song in my head. Let teh Lord lead you. He touches you so you will follow him. He is showing you things all the time if you pay attention. Be faithful and trust him when you know it is him. Soon you will never have any doubt when it is or is not. Keep your heart clean and remember Jesus' greatest commandment Mathew 22 34 to 40. If we carry sins like unforgiveness we can not help but walk blind. If we have our resentments for some we deliberately give ourselves permission to disobey the Lord and it's dangerous for us also. If we gossip about the boss or neighbor or our sister in law we make petition ion our hearts against them like a prayer against them. It makes our hearts darkened and the spirits hear us. Salvation is not on works but there are gifts to serve and share his Glory that we can grow and step up into. Seek his holiness.

Do you even know what an alter is ??? it's a place where things die.
Years ago when my brother was dying I went forward for prayer. I remember that my heart was broken and feeling that I had no strength to go on. When those that surrounded me began to pray the power of God washed over me. My tears turned to joyous laughter and my legs felt like rubber. Those that held me up were hit with the same power. I remember my clothing being drenched clear through and being so weak that my husband almost had to carry me back to my seat.
I agree, the fact we don’t die when we’re touched by Holy Spirit is a miracle of the cross. God should be allowed to move how he wants to move. Manifestations, miracles, signs and wonders are present in the Bible, present in every awakening recorded in history and during local revival. All those events changed the world and brought salvation. Manifestation or no manifestation “you shall know them by their fruit.” and ultimately by agape love. If love is present, there's the answer. After all isn't Jesus rising from the dead just a tad weird? But we’d be a bit stuffed if he hadn’t.

When I was 14 I remember praying in my room and I was in a dark place going through stuff at school. I remember I felt this wave of shivers/tingles coursing through my body, I could feel it from my toes moving up to my head and it was like my bones were shivering, it actually hurt and I was overwhelmed by what was happening. I remember I asked God to stop whatever was taking place as my spine felt a shock and it was somehow painful. As I spoke those words the wave of shivers stopped and to this day I am still trying to understand what that meant, whether it was cleansing me from demons or is its just the holy spirit upon me. Either way I am thankful I had this experience because it reaffirmed how much I believe and trust in the Lord. Even in my lifetime when I did go through phases of atheism I could never truly not believe because of what I'd experienced, maybe thats why it happened and happens to others, so that when we do stray from faith we come back to those encounters and remember to trust in the Lord.
I do cry and loose balance at times, when the Holy spirit touches me
28 minutes in know he won't let you down if you act in faith in serving him. We can have a vision bigger than what we should expect of our own selves with his help. Many of the revival churches from 40 years ago are still growing strong and I mean growing and spreading across the globe with healings and in some cases thousands saved at a time. Incredible anointing is available for those who are able to step up in faith to serve when called. i know the 3 week wear out after going 1000mph on the spirit alone. I wrote 2 novels in a few days and recorded more sermons than I can go through yet. It's taking me longer to put it all together on the bigger scale but there is everyday service also. He calls my time and I never know what I will be into next when it comes to helping others or giving the gospel to strangers. I don't think these up. He gives me the ideas and a compulsion to go talk to someone so I obey him even when I don't know what to say. I can not take credit for what he has done to my heart but he wants to do it to all of us that we fear the world no more.
In 1985 as a new Christian I got water baptized in a swimming pool at somebody’s house. The church I was attending and who was holding this event were hardcore cessationists. They didn’t believe in the sign gifts being active today and certainly didn’t believe in any of the manifestations mentioned in this talk. And this was all before the Toronto outpouring. What was peculiar is that in the moments leading up to my baptism as I shared my testimony I began experiencing these muscle spasms that increased in intensity which I found difficult to control and thought a little embarrassing. I figured perhaps I must be shivering (even though it wasn’t cold). It only happened to me out of the many baptized that day. I was surprised when the two elders who were going to dunk me noticed this they didn’t miss a beat. Instead they grabbed me really hard as if they figured, ‘Oh one of these!’ I finished my testimony and couldn’t control myself and boom! Into the water I went. Later at the reception that followed one of the men said to me, ‘It felt as if you were being jolted with pulses of electric currents!’ They weren’t surprised and didn’t make much mention of it.
I think it also takes humility to receive from the Father. And allowing him to do what he wants. That simple. Childlike.

He doesn’t need mankind to allow Him to do anything.

Yes! Exactly. Having worked with children for over 40 years, I understand why Jesus encourages us to be "childlike", NOT religious, as the Pharisees.
I want to go to your school in California... the Lord has been very good to me as of late, I've seen Lord Jesus twice during visions. Hes shown me an angelic message, as well as showing me my grandparents receiving their crown in heaven. Praise God glory be in the highest!!!! God bless you Bethel church, amen.

Had a manifestation of shaking in my recliner one Saturday (actually called my husband to observe). After an hour, it stopped. The next day, it began again, during worship in z church service. The pastor recognized it was Holy Spirit and allowed me to move about in the congregation and impart this manifestation to others. That was several years ago. I haven't ever been used in that way again. It was strange, but very exciting and a true blessing to be used to minister to others. 😁
That actually sounds demonic. It the disciples or Jesus didn’t do it or teach it, I wouldn’t buy it.

How did it minister to others?
I have come to describe the manifestation physically as our human bodies being overwhelmed by Grace. In the beginning I just hit the floor unable to even stand. From the start through today, Holy Spirit has been increasing and conditioning my body to with /stand the Grace, to act as a conduit for the restorative / miracle making Grace . We need to be to be able to stand up to colabor with God.

@@dancolvin3268 It's all over scripture. This is definitely the same experience millions of others have had when anointed. You can read the most important word on getting anointed with the Holy Spirit is from Jesus in Matthew 22 34 to 40 the greatest commandment. Being humbled by the Lord is the most powerful thing a human being can experience in their lifetime. There is no mistake that it is God doing it to us. He fills you up with perfect peace and you can have no contempt for another human being or will inside you to sin in any way or tell any white lie. There is no fear of the world to want to tell a white lie. Only God can help us repent in full and cast out all our resentments and anxieties. True freedom from the enemy and it comes with a compulsion to share the gospel of Jesus and then doing so successfully.
When I ministered to people at conferences when I was in ministry school, I told people who I could tell were being touched by the peace of God to not write off the peacefulness and receive it and sit in it. I wonder if sometimes people aren’t able to receive because they’re comparing their manifestation that is seemingly small and not tuning into it because they’re watching everyone else receive something bigger.
Yes, sometimes we don't feel something and assume others are faking it. To me it's like the spirit of the pharisees or their line of thinking. They wanted what Jesus had for their own gain or power and would jump to criticize him at every moment because they couldn't stand confronting their own guilt and became jealous and bitter.
I am so thankful for the adoration of God and the wisdom of Holy Spirit that flows thru you two in these talks. God bless you and all who love our Lord Jesus.

Yeah I know someone who esteems people who have great experiences then finds someone to esteem greater and boast in them as if that somehow attributes to their own experiences. And I think that is weird and prideful. Whatever God gives us in small or great degree just be thankful for it and cherish it, because the journey does not end there if we continue seeking. Be humble about it too

Those standing in judgement do so in a religious spirit much like the pharisees did when challenging Christ at each miracle he performed. I did not seek out powerful miracles, signs and wonders. One day I was thrust into being attacked by someone possessed by a demonic spirit. I did not know it was even there, the sheer presence of God angered it and brought it to the surface. I had no choice but to rely on Jesus Christ to save me, I did not have more faith than these men in this video, as a matter of fact I feel I had very little faith, but through believing in Him God made that all okay. The Lord answered and delivered the "Lord of the darkness" (as self admitted by the demonic spirit itself) out of the person who I began to pray for once I realized the Lord had detained it from being able to harm me. Bill is 100% correct that your senses become trained to discern. Sometimes we can make mistakes but I have had multiple encounters with evil spirits since. Sometimes the hair on the back of your neck stands up, sometimes a person's pupils become large and black when they look at you and sometimes you'll feel cold. When it comes to discernment it's very simple with practice, and of course for those still drinking milk they still need practice and that's okay!

Honest question here. How can you arbitrarily say that anyone who disagrees is a Pharisee? How do you know for a fact that they are not being Bereans? Pretty sweeping conclusion.
@@sdgtrlvr6922 when a sign or miracle happens people instantly want to know whether it's from God or an evil spirit or simply fake. If we give glory to God in all things then the entire premise for distinguishing such becomes moot. On multiple occasions Jesus became angry with the disciples AND the pharisees for standing in judgement arbitrating who and what is from God and who is allowed to do such things. So-called believers are literally arguing over whether shiny speckles in the air as if this is important. If people believe in Jesus Christ as their Lord and savior it doesn't matter whether it is fake or not. We are saved by our belief and faith in God, not by works. The apostle Paul wrote that belief in Him is credited to us as righteousness. So to say "it is God" or "it is not God" again doesn't matter so long as we worship God and not the miracle or sign itself. Bill and the leadership of Bethel is very clear that we should all keep their focus on God and it is okay to marvel at a sign or wonder that one believes in their heart is from God. If you have a vision or dream from the God or see something that cannot be explained and feel it is from God that's perfectly acceptable to experience and in accordance with the Bible.

Where in the Bible did people shake when “touched” by the Holy Spirit? And when did people fall over back wards? When judgment came when people worshipped they alway fell on their knees forwards at bethel they fall over backwards ...
Falling over back wards happens in many many churches, i have had it for 40years. Not all the time. It is the power of God, manifested. THE HOLY SPIRIT.

The lie that satan creates is that he owns something... he owns nothing. All the keys were given back to us by Jesus and what He did at the cross. God is good.

@Marlene Holloway I’ve watched a few of these now with an open heart and not once have these people opened up the bible that has been placed purely as a prop right next to them each time. I would have loved for them to open up and read what they where loosely referring to. They have not. So I have constantly paused and checked for myself just as the example is given by the Bereans in Acts 17:11. All I found the whole time is either lies or complete twisting of scripture and it’s contexts to justify themselves.
@@marleneholloway7775 They allow women to preach outlandish things (check out UA-cam video “narcissistic women of bethel”) They do fire tunnels and promote Heidi Baker who comes on stage moaning and falling over, they “decreed and declared” baby Olive WILL live and she died (prayer is humbly asking and surrendering to thy will be done not decreeing God to do what you say) They bop people on the heads with a prophetic puppet (child’s toy) during their pagan fire tunnel sessions, the women pastors preach with no fear of God, no reference talking about the Holy Spirit being like a genie in Aladdin and farts (yes abbi stomvall is on stage crudely talking about farts and other childish nasty things. They sell jewelry that have prophetic words printed on them for the buyer and they “sell” how to learn to prophecy at their school….the Bible says that Simon the sorcerer was REBUKED for trying to buy the Holy Spirit. NO, Bethel is dangerous and is worshipping a different god.

How many times does Bill touch the Bible but never read it once 🤔? Read the word of God for yourselves people and be a member of Christ Jesus centre church not man's.
Personal testimony of mine. I used to attend Bethel many years ago and Bill is the one who inspired me as a young believer to read the bible. I've never been the same since reading God's word daily and praying.

I'm telling my own personal experience. I didn't realize it's required I back it up with a verse.
It is 'Word and Spirit'. If either are missing in a meeting it is more or less likely to be the thoughts of men. We have a will and we should expertise this at all times, we cannot in any circumstances allow our 'feelings' to rule us. Difficult in a crowd where there is a lot of 'emotion' around, such as a party, ball game etc, and even some 'church' meetings. You should pastor the people not the 'environment'!
That was a pretty mainline conversation. I guess rumors of the honey pot, gold dust, head jercking, were not touched upon.

It looks like these two are afraid to open up that bible to prove what they are doing is right.
The Holy Spirits presence Himself in physical form everyday. The Holy Spirit has shown Himself as a Dove, as a Roar of Wind, The Father has shown Himself as A Burning Bush. Christians do not dispute these claims in Scripture. Jesus, as He said, shows Himself everyday in the form of Bread and Wine. Jesus is not bread and bread is not Jesus but once consecrated it becomes His Body and His Blood.
If You don't feel God in the church. HE'S not there!

Did any of you hyper critical religious spirit driven folk even listen to what these two men discussed? These two guys have probably forgotten more of the bible than many of you claim you know as they have years of extensive training in the scriptures through various bible colleges in the past.

I really dont quite by this self releasing and explaining away all thes strangenes and bad doctrine and what not. Compair this manifestations with the elaborate NDE storys and you also there wil se see satan posing as God or Christ without people understanding that they are decived. Please be careful here people. You are aloud to be very suspicius about strange manifestations. I really dont think God wil be angry if we try to test theese things, quite oposite.

It’s healthy to have a dialogue. This format allows questions that we might have, as Bill is speaking, to be answered.
It’s not just you. I find him overtaking the conversation a lot and not leaving space for the other person
In the book when heaven invades earth Bill Johnson teaches that Jesus was an obedient man who God gave his holy spirit to and not the Incarnate Son of God. Anyone who truly had a relationship with the Holy Spirt would say something so erroneous.

If you watch the first episode of this series he explains how this was misunderstood in his book. He clearly states that Jesus was fully man and fully God in his book and in multiple sermons.
There was no misunderstanding. I do not have to watch anything further. That is what He is quoted as saying in his book. Bill Johnson teaches that yes Jesus is fully man and fully God but by way of God giving His Spirit to the man Jesus at His baptism and not because He is incarnate Son of God.
3 But I am afraid that as the serpent deceived Eve by his cunning, your thoughts will be led astray from a sincere and pure devotion to Christ. 4 For if someone comes and proclaims another Jesus than the one we proclaimed, or if you receive a different spirit from the one you received, or if you accept a different gospel from the one you accepted, you put up with it readily enough.

The Holy Spirit is THE FATHER WHO IS A SPIRIT, not a third divine person.
You can see that Jesus speaks about TWO divine Persons over and over again : Father and Son, Son and Father...
But when He comes to the well-known "discussion on the two blasphemies" something happens: you have TWO divine Persons again, but the Father has been REPLACED by the Holy Spirit.
Well, it's actually by this statement that Jesus MAKES KNOWN that the HOLY SPIRIT IS THE FATHER! It would have been IMPOSSIBLE that Jesus had forgotten the Father in that speech. It is clear that Jesus cannot forget the Father, the swapping of names simply shows you that the name "Holy Spirit" is just ANOTHER WAY by which the Father can be called.
That is, Jesus has the Father who is a spirit "God is a spirit.", where that "Father who is a spirit" is called "FATHER" by Jesus. But inversely the "Spirit who is the Father" is called "HOLY SPIRIT" by Jesus, you can figure it out from the speech on the two blasphemies. Indeed, Jesus had to give a "personal name" to the "Spirit who is the Father" in order to distinguish Him from other spirits (e.g., the Spirit of truth). Therefore "HOLY SPIRIT" is simply a SECOND EQUIVALENT NAME of "FATHER," NOT a third divine person. The two EQUIVALENT NAMES are used interchangeably in the various events disclosed by the gospels (Mary's pregnancy, Jesus' baptism (the Father speaks and takes actions in heaven), help given to Jesus in his journey into the wilderness and in speaking, the 2 blasphemies...).
You also have proof that the name "Holy Spirit" identifies the Father: the Holy Spirit is with Jesus, but you know that THE FATHER is the ONLY ONE Person with Jesus "I am not alone because the Father is with me" (reiterated many times in all different ways). Therefore, the Holy Spirit with Jesus can only be the Father, the ONLY PERSON who is there with Him.
The Father is merely present here by his words and actions, but in reality NOBODY is here: this is why we say He is a spirit.The Father who is a spirit comes from the "normal Father" whom no one has ever seen or known. Only Jesus did it.
