- Duskmourn has fully revived Boros Pia with some fantastic new upgrades like Painters Studio, Norin, Enduring Courage and MORE!
I ended up getting a 7-3 record with this deck for a nice 70% winrate!

I've tried this a bit and really enjoy it. A few cards I've considered, the new betrayers bargain for removal. Pia has a ton of enchantments/tokens running about for you to sacrifice for it, even a room in a pinch.
This is the Deck Ash needs, impulse draw away the lands, and play cards that have mana sinks for when she floods anyways. W

This is honestly the best the deck has felt in a long time imo! Deck feels strong even if you don't get Pia which is what I struggled with often in the past

Favorite room is easily Demon Time. Both sides are amazing alone, and unfairly good together. And it's one of the few rooms that get exponentially better the more of them you draw.

Man I of course don’t have a list set but I’ve been playing izzet prowess a lot with some of the burns and buff spells because oh boy thundercatch mentor is a beast! I’ve also played golgari cookies which I adore as well but the otter prowess is really great. However I’m also wondering if maybe you could build an abzan deck 🤔? It’d be interesting to see the route you take with the current set of cards in standard and with the unique colors abzan has

8:00 I really wonder about the matchmaking algorithm in arena. I just play casually in unranked. But it feels like more than half the time I cue up with a new deck idea, in my first matchup I get paired against a deck with either a really similar strategy or a counter strategy. I mean it could just be random chance/bad luck. But considering the amount of times its happened, in concert with the fact that I'm usually playing unpopular jank strategies since I'm exclusively free to play and have to get creative with what I have at my disposal, I really have a sneaking suspicion that there's something to the matchmaking algorithms with arena.
Ash's first words are why I can't play a deck like this. It leans so heavily on Pia and then if you don't draw her or she dies, everything just feels bad. You're just playing suboptimal stuff. Though I do think Orcish Oriflamme with card draw is an underrated card atm.
I liked this deck better than most pia lists I've played in the past cause there are a bunch of other cool engines that you can set up that can also win you the game.. but yea nothing better than a Pia that manages to stick though😓
What about soul partition on your own stuff to protect from removal?
lowkey i think Charred Foyer / Warped Space would be an infinitely better upgrade over Painter's Studio because....Foyer procs every turn for just one more mana. And if you choose to add Virtue of Loyalty (we already in Boros) you can get the Virtue for free with Warped Space unlocked even if ur top deck exile isnt that great. Probs more a midrange choice over an aggressive one but i have been LOVING foyer
