Maverick can you make a tutorial about lighting, like explain while you're setting up the lights that would be very helpful, but I know it's hard so I'll understand if you can't. Great work btw
Did you teach yourself how to create things in Unreal Engine? I want to start making games so badly but I don't know where to begin. If you could guide me in the right direction I would be eternally grateful master! Great video!
I don't want to be the guy that says, "Wow, You're Great At This", But there are no other words to use, so. You are probably the best Unreal Engine Designer in the world.
Months of research and asset creation, long before opening Unreal, and it shows. As a carpenter I can appreciate the mellowing of the timbers and the craftsmanship.
@Maverick please make a course on how to learn such modelling and lighting! This is true art at it's finest. I'm very willing to pay up to 1000$ to learn something like this from you
Thanks for letting me know. UA-cam is a mess. The link broke on like 70% of my videos which lead to some other random dude. God knows how long it's been that way. Ridiculous.
U work so hard to design a single level and it takes so much time that's why u deserve millions of likes and Subscribers I hope one day u will have millions of Subscribers Lots of love from India
Are all those building materials such as: door, table, chairs made by you step by step or are they purchased? If they are bought, where are they from? And one more thing: how does the end of the project look like a video from minute 14:55 to minute 16:38? Thanks!
Hello! This is amazing work. Congratulations :) I have recently finished a master's program on 3D design, in which we covered modeling with Maya, textures with substance painter and photoshop, Zbrush for sculpture, and finally UE4, but some basic notions - for around a month. My favourite part of it all is level/environment creation, and it is actually great I can make my own assets for it, however, I do lack knowledge on how to properly light a scene, and how to give the right effect with post-pro. Would you recommend any tutorials or sites where I can broaden my knowledge in those areas? On a last question: any recommendations for a source of good assets at an affortable price like this one? I can make it all on my own, but any small project takes fooooorever then! :) Been following your youtube channel for long, and it actually encouraged me to study what I just finished. Thank you so much!
Daylight is very pale. Sunshine not brightens just first collision point. Sunshine brightens all collision point with fading transition. Except that, map is nice.
Do you start from a picture, or like make a scratch on paper, or you have like the entire scene in your mind or just start and adjust depending on how it goes?
I started with a concept from this video here. ua-cam.com/video/20XE6GM7xWo/v-deo.html Afterwords I just mirrored the room sort of and built it based on the assets I had available. Little more complicated then that but that is how it all started.
This is very great. I am actually getting into unreal myself finally after messing with unity 3d for a while. I tried to do some light mapping in unity....it almost destroyed my PC
I was waiting for your video since you posted your scene on Artstation. I'm now please to see it in a speed design. I dont think you linked the good Artstation btw, or you may have changed a lot
I'm curious, when it comes to game design (Not triple A studios) is it usually normal for people to purchase models from someone/off a website then implement them into your game?
Hi,there.your job is awesome.and I have a quetion, did you make all the assets by yourself or buy them from other webside?i am really curious about how you get the assets.i will be glad if you could tell me.
Thank you for the amazing video. Can you please tell how did you make the fluid walkthrough camera actor? Is it implemented in unreal or did you make the actor from scratch?
One question Maveric. Where did you get these cool Assets from ? From the Assetstore or are they all Handmade by your self? If this is the case, wich Programs do you use for the Textures/Materials? Substance suite or only Photoshop and a Normal map Program? I love your scenes and you inspired me to keep up doing self made stuff in UE4. Thanks a lot!
does ue4 end up cleaning up the massively duplicated geometry, merging verts automatically, etc, or does it leave in lots of clusters of overlapping faces?
did you buy the models? i want to start with level design word, but i can't afford the price of those models :/ so i practice online in paper and in my mind.
Everything is perfect in this... the asset, the design, the music and the final post process
Nothing is ever perfect in this line of work. But we can get close! Appreciate it. Thanks.
Ma chi si vede ;)
If its too perfect it won't look real enough, only fabricated. Excellent work.
They closed it with Skyrim music so of course it's perfect
Business boasting each other
。
commendatory term
hhahahha~~~
Final product at 14:55. Please check the description for links to assets and music list.

ABowlOfAwesome How can you download these scenarios? Or buy?
Did you teach yourself how to create things in Unreal Engine? I want to start making games so badly but I don't know where to begin. If you could guide me in the right direction I would be eternally grateful master! Great video!
Generally what type of lights are used in old libraries lyk dis? ND wht r dey called
I would love to see an entire game filled with levels designed by you, this is really beautiful stuff.
I don't want to be the guy that says, "Wow, You're Great At This", But there are no other words to use, so.
You are probably the best Unreal Engine Designer in the world.
1964 Lancia Fulvia Rally Car idk about that last part, probably a little too far but indeed very good design.
WHAT, new Upload from Maverick? Stopped everything else immediately :D
Nice work, as always!
My God...eye candy. You never cease to impress me, great job.
Thank you.
This is truly one of those channels that amazes me with every video they upload. THANK YOU Maverick!
Great looking scene - Lovely looking assets, quality lighting, and nice workflow.
Months of research and asset creation, long before opening Unreal, and it shows. As a carpenter I can appreciate the mellowing of the timbers and the craftsmanship.
@@eel900 I have no idea, I was commenting on the textures and craftsmanship.
I’m always so impressed by your lighting, it takes the scene above and beyond
@Maverick please make a course on how to learn such modelling and lighting! This is true art at it's finest. I'm very willing to pay up to 1000$ to learn something like this from you
looks like the library of "The Evil Within". it's lovely!
I am just now learning Unreal Engine. My first time has been hard but it is getting better. I hope to be able to do stuff like this one day.
Great job, Maverick! By the way, you probably should check an artstation link in your older videos, it leads to another artist.
Thanks for letting me know. UA-cam is a mess. The link broke on like 70% of my videos which lead to some other random dude. God knows how long it's been that way. Ridiculous.

Also fantastic musical choices
Amazing work ! Great job love the lighting ! Cant wait to work with unreal engine 4
God your scenes are so good. I want to learn your wizardry
Whaouuu Clap Clap !!! Amazing work man.
Completely amazing. The one drawback is that you have to pay for the assets. And some of them are very expensive
Are all those building materials such as: door, table, chairs made by you step by step or are they purchased? If they are bought, where are they from? And one more thing: how does the end of the project look like a video from minute 14:55 to minute 16:38? Thanks!
A game developer needs to hit this guy up
I'd kill for some of those resources in The Dark Mod. Awesome. :)
Hey there I have an idea for you why don't you do something in the metro 2033 style

Daylight is very pale. Sunshine not brightens just first collision point. Sunshine brightens all collision point with fading transition. Except that, map is nice.
Do you create everything in another program (tree bushes etc) and put them all in a program or copy them from google? Anyway fantastic!!
Wow. Extreme skills.
Absolute masterpiece
brooo more speedlvls i love them

Wow this looks awesome!
Awesome work and lighting! This makes me want to do a project of colonial-era Philippines:)
everything is perfect.
you should add a rust effect makes it seem older
stunning work
Absolutely fabulous!
Did you model everything yourself? Or did you buy everything as a package?
Great job at this, very inspiring.
I'm curious, when it comes to game design (Not triple A studios) is it usually normal for people to purchase models from someone/off a website then implement them into your game?
how we can integrate here green screen footage for example a singer for music video with camera tracking?
this is very beautiful, you are a very talented person, good luck😊💪🤝
"Minimum demand of cpu and gpu to run this game: When manufacturers release it."
you should make a tutorial video on where to get assets for level design, i want to start but dont have the assets to even try
Thats amazing! I wish i could do that too nice work.
This is what gods make.
Excellent work
Wow! It`s amazing!
Закохалася у Ваше відео! лайк, підписка, звісно))

Hey, I really really really want to relight this scene with UE5 xd
I think it would look stunning

Is there a way to download the map cause i really need it right now
I love your assets

that scenario can be used by some game? i mean, game scenarios and wallpaper scenarios is the same method?
OMG i really want to learn this. Can anyone recommend me a good book to start doing this?
does ue4 end up cleaning up the massively duplicated geometry, merging verts automatically, etc, or does it leave in lots of clusters of overlapping faces?
How long does this really takes you? Amazing btw
#maverick can you create a house on a fantasy styled mountain?
daaaaaaaammmmmnnnnnnnnnnnn~~~~~~~
That was awesome 👏!
Beautiful and amazing, as always. But one question... Did you manually place the books? one by one?
+Squall L Books have a blueprint to slide in each shelf. Still took a few hours which I cut out. Was tedious af.
Maverick Cool. Thanks for the answer :)
Am I the only graphics junky that thinks ambient occlusion and volumetric fog MADE this scene
Well done!
Bro do you mak all those 3D MESHES by your self if so i would really love to learn
Make it interactive! Make it a game! 👍
so the lightning is based on light process thing after it you just lighted everything with point spot sky and directional light
how can ı get this materials and textures?
What about an Orwell -1984-themed level design next time? :D
А вот за это прям спасибо, классно сделал)
A like for this fucking awesome work, cheers from France !
This is amazing.
did you buy the models? i want to start with level design word, but i can't afford the price of those models :/ so i practice online in paper and in my mind.
Do I have to use a special game programming device or not using a normal laptop?
