After switching from 4x84 to 3x110 I thought I would never go back to a smaller wheel setup...until I found the Endless 90. Super agile, stable, fast, words really don't do justice as how good they really are
Great review, man! Just as a side note regarding your experience with Powerslide frames and the tightening of axles you mentioned, in working with the Endless Blading Co. on the development of these frames, I learned the importance of tolerances between all the components of the frames, wheel cores, bearings, and spacers. All of these things work together in combination to create your rolling experience. When you have a frame that stops the wheels from rolling when you tighten the axles, the problem is likely a certain component of the combination I listed, rather than an issue with the frames alone. Finding that combination of frame/wheel/bearing/spacer is super important and when achieved should create a smoother and faster roll as the axles place more pressure on the frame and squeeze all the components together. Anyway, really appreciate hearing your input on these, especially given all the downhills, stair rides, and jumps you do in your videos. Really lends perspective on their stability and ride experience.
Thanks mate. Appreciate the feedback. I gotta say that what you have just said, makes a lot of sense now that I hear someone else say it. I have had some pretty bad setups over the years, and when you get a setup as good as endless blading frames, with there wheels and spacers pack they came out with, you feel unstoppable.
While I agree to some extent I have never had the issues with wheels binding or having to match spacers, bearings with wheel hubs etc when using Rollerblade frames or even the higher end speed frames from any manufacturer. I do have those issues with Powerslide Trinity frames. Don't get me wrong, my entire collection is biased to Powerslide as I absolutely love them. But, nevertheless, the quality control and precision of manufacture has something to be desired. Boots cracking has also been an issue. The Endless frames are a class above the regular PS trinity frames. Of course the pricing reflects that better quality as well.
@@BalaHormiga Hey man! Yeah I have definitely heard of these issues with Powerslide boot cracking. I’ve not personally had any issues with their stuff like that, thankfully. When I order only Powerslide parts I don’t have issues with the PS frames I have, but when I start trying to combine things with them that is when the issues pop up. I tried to use some light up wheels from them awhile back, but my Seba axles wouldn’t go through the spacers even though the PS ones would. Haha.
I just helped a friend who had a ‘wheel that wouldn’t spin’ so she didn’t tighten it all the way, and well, it fell out ! Told her she probably didn’t get the bearings all the way in , in that 1 wheel. New wheels have tighter hubs & sometimes you gotta muscle them in better!
Cool! I'm still waiting for mine, I hope they'll be arriving this week. Super stoked. I also ordered the Endless 90 (light version) and I'll be mounting them under my Next Burgundy Grey skates. That's gonna be a nice silvery setup, I guess. Epic stair rides by the way! 🙌
Great review! I have the same frames (not for trinity) and love them. You are really rocking the soft boot Phuzions. You must not mind the flex in them for urban skating. Your ankle strength and flexibility must be amazing!
Cheers! I actually usually use hard boots, and I have been for over a year now. Unfortunately my Powerslide NEXT boots cracked about 2 months ago, so I had to use my back up soft boots. I miss my hard boots so much, and it's amazing the difference between the two. But unfortunately at the moment, if I wanna skate, I have to use the soft boots :(
@@BladerzOfficial I have seen some of your other videos using the Next. With your style of skating a hard boot makes sense. I can't believe you cracked them! I had a pair of Kaze 110mm for a while and I found them a bit too soft and flexy for 110mm wheels. But they were also a bit big so if I had a tighter fit they might not have sloshed around on my feet so much. I'm tempted to give the new Kaze a try. I think carbon skates are too stiff for urban skating with a lot of jumping. Plastic shell hard boots might be the perfect option for urban skating.
@@rollingdubaiguy6415 Yeah agreed. Hard boots are definitely the way to go. I miss mine so much and skating feels completely different with them. Still awaiting a response from my local store.
I think either setup will do the trick. I find 90 to be a nice balance personally, the bigger wheels will probably remove some of the agility, but definitely good for speed and jumps.
With your foot size, either or would do just fine. I use 90 just because it feels more comfortable for jumping and landing. I have half a wheel over the front and back, so I feel very stable. Hope this helps :)
Either or. 90 and 100 are both great and both have advantages and disadvantages. Personally, I found 90 overall a bit more flexible with everything, but 100 produces speed much easier and you feel more balanced due to more surface area being on the ground, but it does feel heavier. Hope this helps.
How are the Phuzions for casual city skating at moderate speeds? Can they do small jumps and stuff? I've had hardboots for 2 years but I'm thinking of getting Phuzions or Swells for the aesthetic. The newer ones look so cool
So quick story... I had a Powerslide NEXT Hard boot. It cracked, and for 3 months I had to use a soft boot, and I recently just got my hard boot back. As someone who has used both type of boots for all types of skating, hard boots are exponentially better in every way. Jumping, Sliding and general skating, I feel so comfortable in a hard boot, and I wouldn't really recommend straying away from it. The only thing a soft boot has over a hard boot, is comfort, which even then, my hard boots have given little issue in that area. Hope this helps :)
Cool man! Looks like you’ve been skating them a while now. I’m coming from a flat 4x80 in eu42 boot, but mostly skate indoors. Beginner-intermediate level. Everyone says get these 90s but I almost feel the 84s might be better for me. But it’s so close to my current 80s that I’m wondering if I should even bother haha. I wanted to ask, did you find these endless 90s to be as nimble as a 4x80? They just sound heavy man. And if I’m not really going to get up to cruising speeds, I’ll just be lugging around weight for nothing. Tough decisions..
I would definitely recommend the 4x90 size. Even if you don't use 90mm wheels, having that longer frame length will give you that extra balance guarantee, due to more surface area connected to the ground. I think you'll notice the speed difference too, your strokes will become longer and more powerful. They are not heavy at all, that's just how these frames sound. The balanced rocker is unbelievable, and it helps with so many things big and small, the list would be very long.
@@BladerzOfficial thanks for the response! I actually went with the 80s and I think it’s so good for me. Of course I don’t know what the 90s feel like, but the few mm extra length over the stock frames and the balanced rocker just make everything so much more stable and still more manoeuvrable. Blown my mind. Still yet to stick 84 wheels on there, but so far I’m very happy with my choice. Cheers!

Couldn't agree more. I was on 4x80 for basically forever, but 4x90 is something else. Especially on these Endless Frames :)

In the same boat but 45 EU. Did you consider the Endless 90 ES?
Nice one, Dude! They do look pretty sweet! 😁

Oi! Do these endless frames sit the wheels further away from the boot than the factory frames?
HEY! Yes they do, the frames are larger than factory frames.
Great video. For someone with a 45 EU boot and 6’4” 90kg, do you think I should go Endless 90 ES or 100?
