Sonarworks SoundID Reference is really awesome.... as long as it works :-( I'm unable to use SoundID Reference on MacOS on either of my Macs (Mac mini M1 and MacBook Air M1) due to the dreaded "Preset switch failed" error message... Ticket 121546 has been opened in May 2022 and the continuation ticket 127121 is still open and there is no resolution in sight. The working (beta) Linux version has been discontinued two years ago, is the MacOS version next and will SoundID become Windows only?

Our team is aware of the "Preset switch error" some users are encountering and we are currently investigating this. Unfortunately, we don't have a concrete ETA available for the fix yet, but we see your support ticket is linked to the development task, so we'll make sure to follow up with you once we have any news to share about an update involving the fix. We can assure you we are working on further improvements for the software on Windows as well as on macOS, and we do apologize for any inconvenienced caused.
