I would've paid real money for this map, but 25 dollars for tier 3 access is absurd...I think a lot more people would be comfortable paying a one-off sum for a map too, rather than locking themselves into a Patreon sub so that the half finished map they've got will eventually be finished.

It's completely understandable to prefer a one-off payment for a map rather than committing to a recurring Patreon subscription, especially when the content is still in progress. While creators definitely deserve compensation for their hard work, finding the right balance in pricing is crucial. I have only just come across your content. It is fantastic and I am very envious! I've just downloaded Assetto Corsa, but have no wheel right now... but hope to give it a go with a controller for now. The game seems to represent the sounds of the cars soooo muich better than any other game.

This is just a port of the city of Ijincho from Yakuza: Like A Dragon and Lost Judgment. I could tell from the landmarks such as the Hello Work building and Homeless Camp being in the same spots as the game. Pretty cool to see it in a different perspective.
4:27 and onwards confirmed that the map *is* actually Ijincho for me, lol. You drove past the Seiryuu Clan HQ and even went by the Survive Bar.

sick setup. But I cant stand driving RHD cars in LHD sim rig. I drive mostly RHD and have mine setup this way but got something in the works for a quick swap shifter with simple hand screw lock. What switches do you have there below the tablet?
I know what you mean, but I have a lot of stuff atached to the gearbox and it would take me about 3 hours to move it over to the other side (trust me I tried ๐).

The more different drift car mods I try out, the more I appreciate that the WDTS cars got it right pretty much from the start. Not so clunkily 'realistic' that they're a pain to drive like Arch cars, but not with all the hard edges and sharp corners sanded down like BDC/ACDFR/WDT cars.

@@ProjectSimRacing I think I took a look at that pack but the file size was so huge and my entire SSD is taken up with Assetto and Assetto mods already. I have to delete old ones all the time to make new ones fit.
An occasional series you might want to consider is reviewing new car packs. IDK how many people would watch, but I would. You could mix it in with some crazy driving. But when I see a new car pack on Vosan, even when it looks cool, I don't bother unless it's from someone I've liked in the past. So a review and an overview of where the physics sit in the AC modding scene would be useful.

I ordered the WRC bundle on Fanatec last week (5nm, for now). Gonna wait until January because of the late production of QR2. It will be my first car simulation experience. What games are best for beginners?

If you just want a game that works, has a lot of cars and tracks and feels very realistic, I would recommend Automobilista 2๐
I was in the same boat three years ago. Ordered the Fanatec CSL Elites and bought a gaming PC for sim racing/drifting(mostly drifting TBH).
The answer depends on whether you're playing on PC or console. If you're on PS5 I'd recommend starting with GT7, or if you want a proper racing sim, ACC. ACC is a game that just feels...right. Stick with default traction control, learn how to trail brake a little and you'll basically have learned how to sim-race.
If you're on Series X? Forza Motorsport...I suppose. That'd be a beginner's choice. But honestly I'd skip games like GT and FM and go straight to a genuine sim like Assetto. No mods on console, but the barebones of it is still a superb physics model, it has drift cars, street cars, race cars, even without mods, and there are plenty of lobbies for people playing on the base game too. Even without mods AC is still worth a try. And there's ACC on Series X too. Or you could get used to your wheel and pedals on Forza Horizon 5, which is much simpler but still a great game, then move up to sims. But I'd personally skip the 'simcade' genre entirely. GT7 and FM8 are an awkward halfway house between pure fun and pure simulation, and I personally don't think it's a good idea to learn how to sim race on them if you're eventually going to move on to true sims.
But if you're on PC, and you have a good feel for how PCs work, and you're used to downloading and installing mods, then Assetto Corsa has to be the choice. It's dirt cheap, Content Manager is free(or almost free) and if it wasn't such a beast of a game looks-wise it'd be the only driving game anyone ever needed.
There's every car under the sun on it, every kind of driving environment, it's a joy to play and the physics feel sublime.

I play Assetto Corsa on a PC, and the game is displayed across three 55-inch OLED TVs to create an immersive, wide-angle view. I used something called Asus ROG Bazel Free Kit ๐ for displays bigger then 32" you'll have to use two kits๐

Place them side by side, ensuring their edges are as close as possible without touching. The idea is to have them in a slight arc formation for an immersive experience. Once they're positioned correctly, you can then apply the Bezel Free Kits. These kits are designed to visually bridge the gaps between each TV, creating a more seamless display. Just make sure the edges of the TVs align well for the best effect๐
The traffic is mostly composed of BMW and Alfa drivers. This makes your tricks even harder ๐

upload the folder with cars again. where there are 27 vehicles to have more than BMWs and Alpha's. On shutoko it works for me.

I have soft-lock on.
The car only has 327 HP, that's why I use first gear most of the times. But if you watch the video, youll see that I was in 3rd gear as well.
