Soft lock off at
Gotcha! I’ll give it a go 😄
This is really the only way to go.
what do you put the assists/stabilization at?
@@Drift-Daddy no assists
Hi, can you share your settings in AC and also Fanatec software?
Nice work Initial Kyle, I really need a round rim again
Thanks dude!! What did you think of the video?? And dude you for sure should hahah I couldn’t live without it 😅
It works completely fine!
the only downside is that you have to choose between a little deadzone while hitting steering lock or you activate soft lock in content manager and you get a little bump while hitting steering lock. I would say you should avoid hitting steering lock while drifting anyway!
Crazy that you don't have to throw the wheel
Awesome video mate.
Is your DD running factory settings or have you tweaked them?
Thanks so much bro! And for this video I kept them at factory out of the box settings! 😄
and assetto corsa settings also factory?@@KyleSpoor
What is your gain settings on content manager? Also what is your steering degree? Please respond
Hey mate!! Sorry for the late reply! I do a lot of my FFB editing in The fanalabs software and my steering wheel degree is set to 900 😄
What settings do you use in fanalab and AC?
Woooo new video
LETSSS GOOOO 😅
You have a sick setup, why don't you get those bezel free kits? that would make it even more immersive!
Thanks dude!! That’s a good question haha I’ve looked at them for a while but unfortunately because my monitors are 32” I’d have to buy 2 kits and macgyver a way to Mount them. The kits with the brackets only really go up to 28” I’m pretty sure hahah. So instead I just left it and now I’m just used to it haha
@South Street Media I see my dude! Forgot for a second that you'd nee two for each side... btw you can diy these things, I came across a few vids that end up with a pretty good result and it's quite cheap. Just to let you know, you already have a sick setup!
Oh no way?! I didn’t even think about making my own 😮 I’ll for sure look into that haha and thanks so much Dude!! I’ve taken a little break from my Sim rig at the moment cause I’ve been making a heap of new content about learning at working on my first project car 😄 not sure if that’s something your into but id be keen to know what you think! That’s for the help dude i appreciate it 😄
@@KyleSpoor No problem dude! Definitely check out making them yourself, the results are just as good when done properly. That's awesome to hear man! Everybody loves project cars, especially when you do most of the work yourself, when is the content dropping? I'll be the first to watch haha 🙌
You’re a machine dude! I’ve actually been posting a bunch of them over the last few months! If you go to my recent uploads you’ll see them all there. I’ve also got them in separate video playlists if that’s something your into as well 😅
Thanks for all your support dude!
Can you give me a Good setup for the wheel in fanatec and in Asetto? I have the same setup and Just started Asetto ( raced in real Life before )
Fun watch. You're stabbing the throttle way hard across all of your drives, and stop leaning on your handbrake.
Thanks Dude!! haha you're 100% right, I'm still learning but thankyou for the tips!!
@@KyleSpoor btw, you have a great on screen presence! Keep sideways, mofo!
My Thrustmaster tx died. 2016-2020 on tx first base and 2020-March 2023 on my second tx base.
It’s time to either buy a t300 base (so the same base again) or finally upgrade to something more premium being a direct drive. Being that I’ve had the same setup since 2017 I’m going to be lost on what to buy.
I CAN NOT STAND RESISTANCE. My friends g29/920 was awful. I could NOT transition it was so slow… I don’t think a direct drive would have that issue. I’m scared to try something new as I know a tx/t300 base just works.
I’m not sure if DD is worth it for me either. I wish I could have a test drive. What exactly makes a DD a must have? I dont see why ffb strength would really be a selling point for a drifting.
I just know I have to make the right choice.
dd gives much more detail in the wheel as well i wouldnt say its a must have but its for sure very enjoyable and an upgrade over something like a t300 rs
I liked my Thrustmaster kit, TX & TS-PC,the first thing I noticed was how instantaneous it felt, like a chunk of latency was removed. Then there's the fine detail, and overall responsiveness, you'll be catching slides with ease that would you would have lost with any belt drive. The CSL DD is great fun, there's just you & the car. You should definitely be using this with a decent load cell, to be honest a set of Thrustmaster's T3PA with a load cell and Hall effect sensor mods are a pretty good starting point, there are dampers for the other pedals and it's dead easy to replace the plastic housing with plywood, or if you have funds the CSL Elite V2 have one of the best brake pedals you can get up to a £1,000 or so, the other pedals aren't anything special, but they're very well made, easy to tweak the layout (no adjustment on the pedals tho' except the elastomer/pre load spring on that amazing brake pedal. That's a setup (CSL DD/Elite V2) that punches well above it's weight, I'd be amazed if it didn't put a huge grin on your face.
I’ve had the Moza R9 for 2 months now. It’s amazing. So much fun.
swapped from my 400 dollar thrustmaster to the csl dd. its miles better than belt/gear wheels
Do you have a video of the settings for your base in regarding to drifting?
I don’t have a video specifically but I generally keep all my settings default 😅
yeaaaaaaaa brahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
In my opinion MOZA R9 is best for drift and for crazy driving in some games but if we talk about AC Competizione iRacing F1 etc. Than Fanatec is better
Why is moza r9 better ? Trying to learn more
How do you set up the moza for drifting? The ffb feels super weird and arcadey a lot of the time and has weird oscillation points.
Ummm that background tho?? 🤣
Hahaha what do you mean?!?
@@KyleSpoor the anime picture is a bit sussy 😂
Haha on the wall??
@@KyleSpoor yep that 1
Haha dude I love that poster 😂
Why doesn't my steering wheel move like smoothly?
Hmmm that’s a good question, I assume your using the CSL DD?
@SouthStreetMedia yes sir. That new one with the 8nm power adapter. I never get the full wheel lock feeling or get it to spin that fast. It's almost like it's too much ffb? Does that need to be turned down or you still have 100% ffb? Thanks
Hmm strange! I still have mine set to 100% maybe you need to check the settings in the Fanalab software aswell as in Game? Might be something there?
@@slayvid2620sounds like dampening is too high.
But would be nice if anybody can share the perfect settings in fanalab and AC
