The Hokas are really popular in triathlon running and ironman. I kinda get the Bondi 8 (the shoes you’re talking about) appeal, they are the softest shoe Hoka has, but in my honest opinion they should be used only for running. The big sole is good for cushioning impact that you don’t get from just walking and For the right runner they are amazing, tho it requires a strong arch and good deep musculature. Same thing for daily use. If someone has a collapsing arch or isn’t particularly active, altho very comfortable, bondi 8 will do more harm than good.
