I didn't realize you had your own channel. I used to have a 1991 mr2 turbo which I recently sold which you helped me with on a few occasions and bought some parts from your company. Looking forward to what comes of your lotus Esprit project. Good luck and thanks again for all your help in the past.
Yes, I told Jack/Number27 off camera that starting a car project at home after I work all week on cars was probably not the best idea. You guys and your positive comments are keeping me motivated though.
Nuber27 brought me here. You can fix the Joan Jet tape with sellotape haha. Oh, that brings back memories and just waiting for it to get chewed up again.
Looks like you do have one of the fuel pumps. Only one of them appears to be missing. As someone else wrote, that's lichen growing on the body. It's not a cross algae and fungus but in fact is a combination of both living in symbiosis.
The next video will have a confession. The Lucas relays are (probably) OK. I accidentally hotwired the wrong side of the switch..as in I jumpered the disconnected switch instead of the car! Oops.
It's a problem with all the colors. The Hurricane Harvey was black and had the issue. My pearl white SE (now in California) had been painted twice, and my yellow 90 SE was originally a white car (I didn't' know that until after I bought it).
I watched @number27 intro video and now I'm hooked! Good luck! 👍
Bless you for saving this old girl. She deserves better.
Best of luck. I’ll be watching the videos. You are brave for tackling this job.
I have a lotus esprit in with these guys. Aaron has been a pleasure to work with so far and knows his stuff!
"Let me give you a short video terrrr" ha love me some Texas accent. Can't wait to see what you do with this one!

Welcome back!
"...is disgusting..." x 5 or more - lol (and "the rest of the awful"). Looking forward to seeing the progress! You're a brave man...
Thats Lichen growing on the bumper. Its a cross between plant and fungi. Apparently if its growing it means the air is healthy though 👌
Hi! Nice and interesting to see the end result someday. Good luck and energy for you!!

So, you'll have it done in a couple of weeks then? Lol. Good luck Aaron!
Wild barnacles...
I can’t wait to see how this goes. Hopefully nothing major goes wrong.

Thanks Paul. Both pumps were gone, what you spotted was either the filter or the fuel accumulator. Thanks for watching!
Fibreglass body so not really such a bad idea. Good luck!
A little bit of armorall and that interior will be fine!
Haha.
what ocean did this wash up on?
I never made the connection these used AE86 tail lights.
Fun project
This will be a great story, thanks to Jack for the link am really looking forward to it. Don't mess with Texas, nor Lucas electrónics either 😂😂

What's the back story? Why was it left in a field?
I don’t know 100% yet. But I’m working to find out.
checkout Soup, he has stripped down his Espire to the chassie...
I guessed Journey... I was close.
Haha! Thanks for watching Wade.
My 91 is red, and the clearcoat is flaking. Definitely a problem with the red cars.
