My Mom and a her Former friend were heading to that same store it was snowing moderately that day but for some reason her friend was having car trouble not even 2 hours later that shooting was on the TV it was heartbreaking and people feared going out for a while nothing like that ever happened in a nice middle class suburb ever! I began working at the holiday inn across the street from that shopping mall the day of the murders. I remember all the helicopters in the sky. The woman from Indiana was at the hotel for a conference. She needed a last minute outfit and the lady at the front desk told her about Layne Bryant. That girl I remember was so guilty and so upset she had basically sent that woman there that day. It was my first day and we had to deliver room service to her friends who were staying for the conference and it was so scary and sad

It has been 12 years on 2/2 of this year. I was 19 when this happened and now I’m going on 31 and this man is still out there and I totally forgot about it. I didn’t know what else came of it. It was so sad and senseless very brutal and hateful - most of these women had children. I pray one day they catch this man.

On the 6 month anniversary it was on America's Most Wanted, but still almost 13 years now and still no justice. I went to school with one of the women and everyone around here just wants this person brought to justice. There are a lot of holes in certain information and people have questioned it and the investigators just don't seem to hear it or are willingly ignoring it. So very sad.
He think that he got away but God has not forgotten you! He will get his day in the courts of this 🌎 world or he will face the courts of heaven! Believe that! He shot down 5 souls & he will give an account for it. 🙏

I think that this case was too difficult for any police department to solve because these men or man doesn't have any relation to the victims in this case and also, they may have a lot of evidence but maybe just the one single piece of evidence needed to get this person. It seemed to have been a very difficult case to solve at that time. There were no cameras in the store, there was an injured victim who was able to describe what the suspect looked like. But this suspect must have left the state as soon as this was all over the news, but someone knew this person and was too scared to tell.

She was treated at the scene and later taken to the hospital and was released less than 24 hours later. I think Tinley Park was ill equipped to handle this investigation. I just find it very suspect that when everyone else was shot in the head/neck this woman was able to move and avoid being shot with only from what I can find out through research was a grazing neck wound, yet she was able to "play dead." And within three days of this happening she has an attorney representing her and her family and putting out press releases on their behalf. But from what everyone can tell no one really questioned her on how she managed to survive. She also quickly moved out of the area, I understand if you are a witness to such a violent crime you would want to move out of the area. But there are so many questions about this detail and others she described that were not followed up on very well.

I worked at this dominoes pizza here in nevada started 2 months after bit the manager at the time was a big drug dealer and he had ripped off his drug dealer the dealer sent a hitman well the guy walked in shot the 3 customers waiting for pizzas dead he shit the cook dead the manager and a delivery driver dead there was 1 survivor there happened to be a trap door hatch she climbed in and hid and she listened to this guy kill everyone never caught the killer either they tore that dominoes down and built a new one has a cool lil memorial inside scary shit for sure
I wonder if the killers girlfriend/wife or friend was a regular customer of the store and one day (weeks or months before the murders) he tagged along wiith her on a shopping trip. From there he might have noted it was all female employees and thought a robbery would be easy to pull off. Just look for the last purchaser through credit card or internet, who made the most purchases and then credit activity stopped once the murders were committed.

I am sure the police looked at the possibility this was personal and probably interviewed family and friends of the victim many times. It kind of reminds me of a case in Warminster at a West Coast Video which probably happened about 25 years ago. Two employees were murdered and the police are no where near solving that case.
