My favorite Cherie moment was her monologue to her parents in the cemetery. She absolutely nailed it. Such honest emotion.
YES!!! Definitely!! I blind bought the third season after only really seeing the second on TV. The show nailed it when they had the monologues. Punky's speech when faced with Brandon, her last link to her mother, being put to sleep due to being hit by a car.
I remember the very end - a ghost-like Indian princess appeared (played by Soleil ) and watched them leave the cave. That was my all-time favorite Punky episode!
Looking forward to seeing the show returning. I missed the series and dreamt of seeing for a long time 😎
count me in for being scared by the cave episodes and the refrigerator episodes lol
the cave episode made me believe in myself: at the beginning I was super scared, and so was Punky, but then she faced her fears and talked to the monster like she was going to stand up for herself, and at that moment, I felt something inside me. The fear was gone and I was ready to fight just like she did. What a powerful episode.
I remember that episode when punky battled spider monster and she killed it. I was the same age as punky at 8 years old. The faces in the cave was scary but it was so beloved by fans.
Beloved my ass, more like traumatized. 7 year olds weren't ready for that shit, man. I had to sleep in my parents bed that night, and I tell my mom that I had a nightmare about "Punky Brewster'. Not embarrassing at all.
“I’m gonna call you Mr. Pieces. Well-goodbye!”
What was the episode called when Allen got in trouble with Mike the teacher for name calling Linda the janitor?
When I was a child I was afraid of caves because of that Punky episode 😂 Now it's one of my favorites 💙
What was the episode called
@@lalalooloo The perils of Punky
I remember the monster's name was "Ohwah tahgoo siam" which didn't really make an impression until I got older, but it was hilarious afterward.
You have a seriously good memory!
I remember the cave episode and there being a spider. It's one that I can see different parts off but don't really remember the story. Never forgot about it tho so apparently I was traumatized!!! Lol
That gigantic Spider scared me on the Punky Brewster series. I also remember that Refrigerator episode. I also remembered the episode that Punky accidentally fell out of the Treehouse. Scary. I watched every episode.
When the kid's face appeared attached to a wall I completely FREAKED OUT, and when I saw the floating skeleton I think i lost my mind and was SCARRED for like 2 days.. It was so traumatic LMAO i can't even believe it. I was like 6 or 7 i think. This was just insane how scared it got me. I thought I was the only one
OMG I THOUGHT I IMAGINED THOSE 2 EPISODES!!!! so glad I'm not crazy. Also I vividly remember an episode of the Cosby show..when all the men got pregnant & they all gave birth at the same time and they were screaming and I was so freaked tf out; then...then they gave birth to long ass like turkey and cheese subs. Like fuck a foot long...the son birthed a 10 footer. Someone pls tell me that was an actual episode & that my 4 yr old mind didn't just come up with it somehow? Please like this so more ppl see it & I can finally feel validated?? Kthx. 🌯🥪
Yes this fever dream ass episode actually happened. I think Martin (Denise's husband) gave birth to a ship ⛵🤣
Oh boy I was 8 when I watched the cave episode I got traumatized!
It Was TheKidFace in TheRock that *Traumatized* the 5-10 Year Old Kids That Watched PunkyBrewster.
(That $hit Gave Me *Nightmares* as a Child!)
And Mike says mom
I find it funny but not surprising that the actors don't even remember filming "The perils of punky" in the cave. I think even they blanked it out!
My real question is, who is the director/producer who got this from research and the writer's room and said "Okay!"
Its so funny that Cherie is so recognizable but Punky is not. I hate how plastic surgery changes people's look so much.
Punky (Soleil Moon Frye) never had plastic surgery. Only thing she's had was a breast reduction when she was younger.
1:10 that forehead
I HATE THE CAVE EPISODE I REMEMBER THE FACES SCREAMING
Cherie looks the same, Punky is half the girl she used to be. Sad!
Punky is a fail. Freddie pr jr should have gotten on the "He's All That" trail! The new Netflix hit. What a huge mistake..
