It should be stated that this method specifically is based off of relative deviation rather than true averaging. Both methods are solid for their purpose but this one essentially just lowers the multiplier within the set constraints gradually until it's no longer significant. The other method of a true average is a slower process as the boundaries are larger, the extremes are more extreme and there is a lot more steps to zone in on a multiplier scale that's no longer significant. The advantage is that you are not as locked into the pre set perimeters and you will probably find a sensitivity more closely attuned for yourself. The negatives are that the value can stray away from whatever initial value you set and what you are currently more comfortable/ competent with in general may still overall not be a good foundation. The best example would be a very high sens player leaning towards the higher scale deviating massively towards the higher side from the neutral point as they are currently way more proficient on those sensitivity ranges due to experience and training. The overall point is the way shown is simply a good way to find a relatively suitable value within the set boundaries based on a certain value. The average method used the set value as a start point and closes in on your actual mechanical preference from that point. Neither should be taken as an ideal or the often phrased (perfect sensitivity) the fact is that you can achieve the same thing if not a better result by picking the average pro sensitivity that's relevant and then after a reasonable amount of testing deciding whether you value the speed or comfort of the sense more and therefore practicing to improve mouse control or deciding that even with a lot of practice that the sensitivity will still likely be higher than ideal for the level of precision you want to achieve and therefore gradually decreasing the sensitivity finding a point that is an optimal trade off of reduced speed and mobility for a certain level of improved control. Of course this can apply the other way, meaning increasing sens to add speed and mobility and finding the point where the trade-off of reduced precision is worth it to you. So it's just assessing the benefits and negatives of different tradeoffs and weighing that alongside the knowledge of your own strengths and weaknesses and the likely good they can be overcome by practice.
just a quick reminder that when calculating the sens, you have to add up first and then divide the number that you got, otherwise the calculator is just gonna divide the last number and you're gonna get a completely different result
I think one should decide on mouse grip and correct proper arm/elbow positioning(arm elevation and how the elbow bends) first before going into sens as they also affect how consistent their feel to their sens is. if the two mentioned are not consistent, an 0.418 sens on one day will not feel the same on the next day, if you get what I mean
I literally have that problem, i play with 0.4 800 dpi and It feels slow, then i switch to a higher sens but end up at 0.35 at 800 dpi, only to go back to 0.4, which feels good for about 3 days, then it feels slow again

Hey Sena. TL;DR: Used to be wrist aimer now I use arm aiming at 400 eDPI, now when I'm used to it might it be worth trying lower? or stick with it? I haven't really been playing any FPS before Valorant, didn't even know arm aiming was a thing before Valorant and have always only been using my wrist. A few months ago I changed over to Arm Aiming instead of just using my wrist. i've been using 400 eDPI since then and gotten used to it by now. Do you think it can be worth trying out even lower eDPI now or should I just stick with it?
I also used to be a wrist aimer on high sens. I think for games like valorant, using both wrist and arm to both swipe and micro-adjust is important. I think you should give low sens a try and arm aiming a try to see if you are comfortable with it. You can always switch back if you don't like it, but it will take time for your muscle memory to build since it will all new. Hope this helps :)
@@SenaVL Thanks, 400 eDPI is really low compared to what i used to use, was probably over 1k (didn't have a gaming mouse before the change). I've been using it for maybe 2.5 months now, but might be worth trying to lower it even more.
I think you should try it but go back to your main sens, that way you know which muscles you use in lower sens that could help get better control in mid sens
i was in the same situation as u but i recently took the jump and lowered it even more, and after a week im feeling the most consistent ive been so far (imm2 peak), lowering ur sens is aight, but going up tends to have VERY mixed results from person to person
I got mine really quickly with a few tries. I went from 0.65 800 to 0.5 400! I definitely found a difference though I can't figure out my op lol. Previously 1 then switched to 2 and noticed I performed way worse so I went in between and got 1.5 right now, still not as snappy as before but I am getting used to it and getting better with practice.

You see, I have this kind of problem where the only sens I perform my best in can’t turn 180 degrees due to how slow it is, I can but it would take me literal seconds to do that. And when I change to a more higher sensitivity I can turn 180 degrees but lose my aim and comfortability so everytime I hop into a game using high sens I either over shot or just have my hands and fingers shaking the whole round.. Edit: Basically, the problem was my mouse. It was so terrible that it wasn’t able to do a 180 unless it’s on a high sens. I got a gaming mouse and this one does not spin out, does a 180 perfectly and just right for me to not overshoot or over adjust. I really do suggest getting a gaming mouse before you do this, it helps alot.
sense really is personal preference, I personally use 1300 dpi with 0.6 sense, I know it seems fast for most people, but it really works well for me as I have a lot snappier aim. The best way to find your own personal sense/dpi is to just try a bunch of stuff out, and don't listen to people that tell you "Your sense sucks" if you like it and its different from most people.
I'm very very confused guys, according to internet the dpi of my mouse is 1000 and i usualy play with 1.100 sens ! my high sens according to this vid is 0.42, it feels super slow do you guys need to use your whole mousepad to flick ???
If you are new to PC or FPS games this will be helpful starting point. But if you've been playing for years and trying to edge out performance, all you are going to do is all this math to find a sens you find comfortable, which most likely will be the sens you were just using before all this, because that's what you were used to beforehand.
Thanks so much I was a low sens user but it hurt my arm swiping so much now on high sens 800 dpi / 0.565 in game... in VALORANT. Thank you my guy love u bro
I also really appreciate you going over this again in detail. It was this concept that helped me find my sens and the math is actually a lot of fun... and i HATE math.

Hope this helps :)
switch. if it is an agreeable sens, then just keep it and improve
@@SenaVL Thanks, 400 eDPI is really low compared to what i used to use, was probably over 1k (didn't have a gaming mouse before the change). I've been using it for maybe 2.5 months now, but might be worth trying to lower it even more.
I think you should try it but go back to your main sens, that way you know which muscles you use in lower sens that could help get better control in mid sens
i was in the same situation as u but i recently took the jump and lowered it even more, and after a week im feeling the most consistent ive been so far (imm2 peak), lowering ur sens is aight, but going up tends to have VERY mixed results from person to person
your videos are always amazing:))
Bro Im Playing on 5 Sens lmao
my Mouse is at 800 dpi
@@mehmoodahmad3852 what

400 dpi?
U did all calculations for me already
Thank you.
I STG USED THIS and i made a sense that feels so amazing i love it
Your tips are so useful man. thank!!
Straight to the point!!! Great Work!!
sense really is personal preference, I personally use 1300 dpi with 0.6 sense, I know it seems fast for most people, but it really works well for me as I have a lot snappier aim.
Yes
Seriously the whole fixing mouse pad is used to just flick between two points
I thought that we were only ment to use the mid part of the pad
@@BreadAckerman hahaha seriously I had no idea people used their whole arm to move their mouse and not only litle wrist moves 😭
this helped me sm my sens feels so smooth and comfortable
tysm! this helped me a ton and now i can actually aim better
TYSM!!! This tutorial helped sooooooo much. Much love❤❤❤❤❤❤
Bro thank you so much your method worked and i found my perfect sensitivity and now im much better at the game
thank u so much i found my perfect sens rlly useful man
Man Just Thank you For This Gift +1sub
If you are new to PC or FPS games this will be helpful starting point. But if you've been playing for years and trying to edge out performance, all you are going to do is all this math to find a sens you find comfortable, which most likely will be the sens you were just using before all this, because that's what you were used to beforehand.
5 am in my country, but watching sena is a priority lol
Make sure you get some sleep! lol
man got his priorities straight
@@SenaVL at this point sleep i made sleep a second priority lol
