Full coverage of the quarter-final bouts in the men's super heavy (+91kg) boxing event at the London 2012 Olympic Games.
Boxing made its Olympic debut at the 1904 Games in St Louis, since then boxing has been staged at each edition of the Games, except in 1912 in Stockholm, owing to Swedish law, which forbade the practice.
The rules have evolved since the 1980s: 1984 in Los Angeles: protective helmet obligatory; 1992 in Barcelona: set-up of an electronic scoring system to strengthen the objectivity of refereeing; 2007: standardised point scoring. Women's boxing will make its debut at the 2012 London Games in London.

@54:27 pause it and you'll see the Chinese boxer extend his arm and reach all the way to Joshua's chin while Joshua's right arm is also extended it is deflected upwards so it doesn't land.
You can see that the Chinese boxer anticipated it as he already had his glove up high covering his own chin/face in case of the right hand from Joshua.
The Chinese boxers punch landed lightly as his arm was extended all the way but you can see the Chinese boxer anticipate Joshua's right hand and successfully blocked his strike yet what does the English commentator say after it? "that was a super little right hand there from Anthony Joshua"???
The Chinese boxers glove touched Joshua's chin and Joshua's glove was deflected by the Chinese boxers glove and lightly touched his head gear. Seconds later Joshua missed a right hook and attempts a left hook while clinching @54:42 and he clearly doesn't land it again. You can even see Joshua's glove go behind the Chinese boxers head.
When the Chinese boxer stands back the English commentator does it again and says "He HURT him there, that was a good left hook, he Hurt his opponent"????
Then moments later @55:51 both boxers throw at the same time and the Chinese boxer is standing slightly unbalanced the moment he throws his shot so his punch is deflected by Joshua's punch and Joshua's punch gets deflected again. The Chinese boxer's punch and his balance + deflected shot causes him to correct his footing then the English commentators do it again and say "Joshua got him with a left hand"??? Yet you can see it land on the Chinese boxers shoulder.
After the 1st round ends we get to see two instances of slow motion replay.
Pause it @56:17 then play it but pause it a second later @56:18 do that till @56:23. Joshua clearly missed and the Chinese boxer attempts a combination and lands at least two shots if not three on Joshua. As this is being shown the English commentators say absolutely nothing about it.
The second slow motion replay @56:27 shows Joshua actually land a left with little or no power on it. The judges claim it was 3-1 round to Joshua?!?!?!
That's it I'm not going to bother commentating on the next 2 rounds i kept seeing people comment in other videos claiming that Joshua+his U.K team stole this Olympic medal so i just watched this for the first time and found out they were right.

That Chinese guy lack skills.
Even though he has potential to became a great boxer.
If that Chinese guy would have been trained by American or western coach from the beginning then he could have became a great boxer.
