I’m from Minnesota I worked for a farmer that got ground up sheet rock from a local provider. That’s what we threw under the cows in the stalls. But central mn doesn’t have a lot of dairy from where I’m from. Great video.

I remember hooking that pipe up on the tank at the farm I help once and our first group is 98 cows and we had the last 20 hooked up in the parlor when I walked out and noticed the clamp didn't stay and milk was just running down the sides of the tank

Yes we register the cows, and we've classified in the past but it's been quite a few years since the last time

How often do you turn the cows out? What is the barn's capacity?
They don’t get out to often but they get 6 weeks outside during their dry period

No, our plate cooler is piped down to the stream

It’s not a super big deal to me. In the future we hope to have a free stall barn.
