      @@markhep I had a good mate before built a garage and 2 bricklayers where at it got paid but both never finished the peeks and a few other things my uncle ended up finishing them for him but have thought I aint doing them fiddly bits LOL not 100% sure but as i remember it sounded like they took him on a little witch was crazy as he was a sound guy and used to be a pro middle weight boxer haha

    Why don’t you build the gable leads and fill them in all at once?

      Hi mate. You mean put the ends on first. I did that near the top but I built a bit of the gable up while I was waiting for trusses. That's why I was messing around a bit at bottom lol👍👍👍

      @@markhep thanks for not taking offense to my question! We put 2*4s on the wall, flush with gable overhang, and we use our rulers to make marks(usually 5s) with roofing nails. Then we just tie the sting around the nails. No building leads at all. We figured that out like 10 years ago and it makes gables go wayyyyyyy quicker

    Brickwork looks mint mate but why no insulation in the cavity?

      Hi mate thanks Yere we put it in Walls just not in gable he is boarding and insulating the ceiling. With it been a garage it didn't need to have any in 👍👍👍👍

      Used to a Friday thing journeyman would be away doing the wages. Or so he said lol Oh you can top them out. bloody all the bricks had to be cut as soffit went right in wasn’t cut back 🤬😆😆👍🏻

    At the start of this video why did you put three header bricks in when one header and a full brick would have fitted from then on you used a header under the verge tile and a stretcher have l missed something , l really like your videos but just wondered why you did that
