Solo duning from Olds to Keyhole in the Johnny Speed and Chrome

Mellow duning back to camp. Riding along in the Johnny speed and chrome Sandrail powered by a 2110 VW with 44 IDA Webers. Super fun car at only 105” wheelbase, very playful. Wet sand made for some rough tracks but the turns make up for it.

Thankyou for posting this, it reminded me of my Grandpa’s sand rail that sounded very similar, If he was going on a big ride I was going with him lol I love it! When I just got old enough to be able to drive it he had to sell due finances hardship at the time, so unfortunately never got to drive it but prayerfully one day I will be able to find it and maybe get it back or something

I just stay away from the popular hills and sand highways. Plenty of smooth sand for an old school buggy if you take the time to look for it.
