If anyone has any scary college experiences they'd like to share with me, email me!
YES ANOTHER ONE! Keep them coming this often!!!
yesss
college applications
i wish i had a college story lol but i ain't in college yet, still in 9th grade lol. if you do find some stories based on those then that would be great!! love you bro keep up the amazing work!!
My friends has horror stories for days. I'll try and get her to write some of them down
That first story with the woman with dementia. I've been working overnight shift in group homes for 25 years now. The knives are ALWAYS kept locked up. I know this was a private residence, but having knives accessible to an elderly dementia patient is a precaution carelessly overlooked by the daughter
I second this. I work in a nursing home and care for patients with dementia among other conditions. I have to reintroduce myself to these folks everyday. A lot of times they are disoriented and you have to calmly explain who you are and where they’re at. I bet if some of the dementia patients had access to knifes, they might attempt to protect themselves because they perceive danger. It’s heartbreaking that they have to live in such bewilderment, to wake up in an unknown world everyday surrounded by strange people and without ever getting to feel safe and secure. Dementia is a cruel disease.
I noticed that at one point it said Colleen was the mother not the daughter
It was his first night on the job and he decided to take a nap? Wasn't he on the clock?@@bunnybelle64
@@HikazePrincess I believe it was a typo because I'm pretty sure it said the woman with dementia was like 65 so the mother would have to be in her 80s at least and the way person wrote the story they said they were kinda surprised the daughter didn't watch her mother herself. It wouldn't be surprising if an 80 year old couldn't watch a 65 year old
I third this. My mother has worked in nursing and nursing homes or private care most of her life and from what I've subconsciously learned from her is always make sure sharp objects are out of reach of dementia or any sort of memory issue patients
The first story just pissed me off more than scared me. Pissed off the daughter is clearly in denial about how advanced her mothers situation is, pissed off the aid clearly isn’t as experienced with dementia as they think, and pissed off anyone with dementia (violent tendencies or not) could access any knives 🙄🙄🙄
The mother have sundown syndrome
Right? The daughter should have known better and the person getting the job should’ve known they couldn’t handle someone with such advanced stage dementia, screw dementia!
Right and lied about going to sleep you aren't allowed to sleep on those types of cases.
SAME
That was at least one major reason that she actually didn’t call law enforcement, she’s only worried about herself and thinks of these jobs as “do nothing” jobs, which is also very wrong. Further, I suspect she’s paid under the table. Pray for her future patients, holy hell. @@Page57
Finally an actual story where the manager is actually seeing the shit happen
BROO SAME I THOUGHT THAT glad someone else pointed it out too 😭😭
And is actually calm and friendly towards his employee(s).
Right? So many red flags and they still pulled a "I'm going to check it out guys, stay here" luckily they got away safe
I thought the same thing.

As a small child, stories like the one about the dementia patient were the reality of my every day life because I was raised by my undiagnosed schizophrenic mother. She was only admitted after attempting to attack me in my sleep when I was 11.
Oh wow I'm sorry to hear that! I hope that you and your mom are both in a better place in life.
I’m sorry :( I hope you’re doing better and so is she
U have a 60-80% chance to become schizophrenic too bc of your mother, god bless u, jesus loves u, repent of your sins and the demons will flee by his mighty name
oh crap.. dude I hope you and her are okay.
it must've been traumatising to have your own mother do that as a child. so sorry to hear that. hope you're both doing better now.

I’m in college now, and I’ve been watching Mr. Nightmare since elementary school. Dude is the GOAT.
I started in late middle school or early high school I believe. It’s crazy how much time has passed, but nonetheless, he keeps giving us amazing content. He’s a horror legend in my eyes.
Fr 🙏🏼
Damn bro same
Bro I started watching him in 2014 when I was 8, I'm 19 now in uni and still roll with him
I started listening when I was 3, ahh, the memories
Scariest first day on the job experiences for me is always facing endless paperwork, malfunctioning equipment, and that constant feeling of dread that just never seems to fade.
Ah, you too? Lol
Yeah, or not knowing what I need to do or being able to get everything done.
Nah the scariest is when the person that’s supposed to train you don’t really show ya shit 😂
real
@@Mtoutdoorsman Lol or when they dont even have someone who's 'supposed' to train you and just tell a random person to do it ☠
OKAY BUT THE FOOTSTEPS SOUND EFFECT MAKES THE STORY NEXT LEVEL AND I HATE IT (it makes the video even better, always amazing quality!!)

@@nicolechkwsameee 😭
Fr like come on
That shit had me do an immediate 180 because I had headphones on 😅
Same here
The third story about T.C is the scariest for me, but I’m glad that he was with another trainee and his manager to go with him to see how pizza deliveries are carried out. But then when the manager walked in the sacrifice of the baby deer that genuinely freaked me out
I felt sorry for the baby deer
@@melissagrant4178 they should have called the police. Torturing animals is illegal. Hunting baby deer is also illegal.
For real… even when there was 3 of them together you still felt worried. Glad they moved past that pizza place
@@marcwright4790i think anyone who’s evil enough to do that should be put in prison for life
I would’ve sued Colleen for that experience that is unacceptable
For the last story, that manager should've known the most important rule in food delivery which is NEVER enter the home
To be honest the manager was probably the same age as college age OP. I don’t know that their training is as in-depth as that. I don’t feel like most big chain delivery places are too concerned with employee safety. Hopefully I’m wrong but there are so many stories where the driver goes to great lengths to make sure the customer gets their pizza when they shouldn’t have to do all that. Just to get back and get in trouble by the manager. At least this one was there.
From the story it sounds like they never did. They stayed at the front of the house
But he didn’t…….
He didn’t go in the home he walked around to peek in the window to see if the man was ok.
@@WhippedCreamoSaurus yeah but his trainee (the story teller) did
Poor baby deer, my heart felt heavy when he said a baby deer was in the middle, and how everyone was laughing
they were sadistic cultist thats why they were laughing at it
@@walter_white3247I can't believe those people are still around
Ngl I thought they were just cooking and eating the deer? Might have heard wrong, cuz other comments are saying they were torturing it
It wasn’t a cult. And why would they quit over that situation. So sitting around a campfire cooking a deer made your heart heavy? Maybe they were just sitting laughing while cooking a deer. They were homeless after all, now if that was an actual baby then it was a cult. I don’t see anything wrong with anything they did. Don’t be so sensitive.

As someone who has worked with seniors in varying stages of dementia for 15 years now, if Martha is the scariest thing to ever happen to you, then you've gotten off suuuuuper easy. 😂 I gotta ask why knives were even left where she could get them though. Putting away/locking up anything that could be poisonous or used as a weapon is like rule #1. 🤔
💀
What's happened on your job to make you think someone hiding in a closet and coming at you with a knife is "suuuuuper easy?"
You should send in your story
I was thinking the same thing. Not trying to minimize the situation, but a dementia patient screaming that they don’t recognize someone is hardly abnormal. The knife part is definitely scary, but he never saw a violent dementia patient in nine years of being a home health aid??
@@Charliehund100he probably did.. he said this is the scariest one.

@@trinitybowling Congrats!
It seems to me that the person in the first story is in the wrong line of work. Obviously the lady was confused and scared that a stranger was in her home. I mean, sure - the daughter should've made sure no weapons were accessible. But the OP needs to slow her roll. The lady had dementia, ffs!
Literally everything in the first story is exactly what one should expect as a caretaker for those suffering from dementia. It was frustrating, to say the least, that this was portrayed as some kind of horror story.
OP sounded unprofessional and like an amateur for someone with years of experience
@@kyliedee6079these are all basically made up stories in my opinion . Even the “true” stories mr.nightmare posts are exaggerated they just wanna make a scary story. Doesn’t mean I don’t enjoy them tho

Dang, I'm assuming that's the exact same house in stories 2 and 3. First they wanted their house fixed, then they wanted some food. I feel bad for them.
Man, dementia and Alzheimer’s are terrifying. I get this worker was terrified however I’m sure these things happen quite often with patients like this. Really sad.
Martha sitting on the edge of the bed starring at the wall reminds me of a friend of mine, who I won’t share his name, but had an experience with his friend who has some sort of disability. One time he found her inside a small room sitting on a chair just starring at the ceiling in the dark

The gent from Story 2 is a real hero. So few people actually report encounters like that, and usually the next time they're emboldened even further to do actual harm.
You mean story 3. Story 2 only had one person showing up at one's place.

Mr. Nightmare 2 days in a row! Excellent! 😱
Claims to have experience with dementia patients yet continously runs parallels between typical dementia behaviors with those of characters in horror movies. This is why you don't hire randos as caretakers for loved ones.
That's how the lady was acting so of course that's how they are going Describe her.💀
EXACTLY. like you were told she wanders around at night and whatnot and you still took the job, and apparently have experience, yet you are shocked and terrified when she wanders around?? when she said she saw something that looked like it was from a scene in a horror movie, i was expecting there to be buckets of blood or something, but martha was just opening and closing the stove?? i can understand being freaked out when martha was in her room with a knife, but the way she handled it seriously sounded like she was unqualified, esp with the whole "i could care less about martha i gotta get out of here". like you stated yourself that woman seemed weak asf, not to mention she's a DEMENTIA PATIENT, like how tf do you think she feels rn?? she isn't some crazy murderer, she genuinely felt unsafe because there was some person she didn't recognize in her home in the middle of the night, she could have literally called the daughter to talk with her mom and help explain or smth
@@nenko3011 factss she didn't know what she was doing fr
Yesss I have been working w dementia 25 years, all common behaviors, Martha was terrified and uhh dementia is NOT a developmental disability.
Agree with all of y'all! This story has inexperience written all over it. Especially comparing typical dementia behavior to a scary movie. Martha had zero clue who this woman was. She was informed about her getting up at night..she also went to sleep on the job. Anyone with actual experience with dementia and Alzheimer's wouldn't have acted or reacted like this person.

First story reminded me of a story of my own. My grandmother for around 10 years of the last part of her life from ‘96-‘06 (a year before I was born) had Alzheimer’s. What I find scary is of a time my dad had tried to feed her and she ended up jabbing my dad in the side with a knife. It didn’t go too terrible far but my dad had to call 911 to get stitched up. For the ten years she suffered with it, she only went into a home once, otherwise everyday my dad diligently bathed, clothed, fed, and cared for his mother. I have to respect the dedication and how hard it must’ve been for him as I couldn’t imagine being in that situation.
Respect to your dad. He is a real man and son. May your grandmother rest in peace.🙏
