Wonderful content and explanation. This has been one of the most thorough explanations of the pink toes setup and care. Thanks for you time and effort!
You saved my Petco pink toe. The kid had no idea if it’s male of female. Roped it out of his Webb he was spun in. Poor thing barley moves and hasn’t eaten. I’ve added moss, high water, ( instead of the ground one we were told to use ) also some fake greens and a branch. Here’s to hoping spoing feels more comfortable.
@@piscespet1 update sine 2 days ago. We finally have spoing exploring its home and a big Webb. Thank you for your suggestions. The water being high was a big deal. Thank you I can’t wait for a molt to figure the sex.
Avicularia avicularia don't need high humidity for a sling in a 32oz deli cup dry substrate and a water dish with plenty off cross ventilation is fine poor ventilation and wet substrate kills avics that's how 90% off avic slings die due too poor ventilation and wet substrate all they need is dry substrate and a water dish with plenty cross ventilation and some good anquor points too attach there webbing too and they will thrive.
Experienced keeper such as yaself you sound as if you haven't got a clue you don't need hygrometer's all they do is over complicate things and you don't need too mist twice a day they do fine on bone dry substrate and a water dish is essential as well as good cross ventilation that's all they need no misting no hygrometer's when they make there Web hammock in the top corner you can spray some drops off water on the Web
